like    most     people ,     this     year      has      been      exceptionally     difficult    for     me     to      get     through .     from     losing    a     close     family     member     to     almost      losing     my     best     friend ,     to     trying     to     complete     my     university     degree     at      home ,      to     being     apart     from     family ,    friends    &     my     partner      and     everything     else     in-between     ---      there’s      been     so     much      shit      i’ve      had     to     get      through .        but      with     the     help      of      all      you      wonderful     people ,    i’ve     been      able      to      create       plenty      of      amazing      memories     that    have     helped     make     the     crappier     ones     easier    to      bear   ,     and     i     can’t     explain      properly      how      grateful     i     am     for    all     of     you .      whether     you      found      me     from     my     kyl.o     blog     ( which    i     made     in     january )     or     whether      you’ve      found     me     through    the     tons     of     random     blogs     since     then ,     or     just      through      here     recently ,     i     am     so     glad      to     have     all    of      you      here    now  ,      and     i     hope     that     we    will     all      get      to      chat      and     write      for      many      more       years      to     come .         thank     you       for      being      here      and      for      helping     bring     so     much     light     to     an     otherwise    dark     year .     below      are     a     few     special     shoutouts      amongst     a      lot     of     rambling ,    but     please     know      that     i     appreciate     all     of     you ,      whether     you     are     on     this     post     or     not    !     here’s     to     a     better     year    in    2021  !    <3

    espionage themes have always interested me from an early age in literature & i always admire spy - based canon characters & oc characters that i see on t*mblr because i think it requires a delicate balance of p*litical / current event knowledge ,  knowledge of global institutions & a really in depth character from childhood to adulthood timeline. not to say that other ocs don’t have that in depth character world but when you are specifically writing a spy based character i think you have to delve deeper into the muse’s choices, why they chose that life / did the life choose them ,  how they view the world ,  their moral center, etc.   floyd is no different in terms of how delicately & thoughtfully you have built him and the world he surrounds himself with ,  choosing also a culturally rich time period of espionage as the 1950′s / 60′s  is a classic & smart move.  having that foundation of knowledge of the times & then being able to instate him into a modern setting where countless things have changed in the world of p*litical, m*litary & gl*bal institutions is interesting to navigate & helps you interact with more muses.   i personally found your blog through your threads with @041933  & though i usually don’t take the time to read other people’s threads i read yours & a curiosity for floyd grew.  i am excited to write with you & i think you’ve done a fabulous job of creating a complex espionage based muse! <3
