            ​​​​​​​"  so,  jaewon  ssi,  what  topic  are  we  covering  today  ?  "  though  an  avid  supporter  of  his  podcast  since  its  creation,  jihye  has  never  been  a  guest  -  and  this  would  be  the  first  time  she  gets  the  privilege  of  starring  in  it.  she  knew  too,  that  she  and  jaewon's  fans  have  been  begging  for  this  collab  since  .  .  well,  forever  too.  "  can  i  go  off  topic  and  talk  about  my  dad's  new  girlfriend  and  how  she's  driving  me  nuts  ?  or  are  we  doing  strictly  game  review  today  hm  ?  "  she  looks  at  her  best  friend  with  curious  eyes,  grabbing  the  podcast  mic  in  front  of  her  in  preparation  to  start  filming,  "  also,  curious,  i'm  allowed  to  cuss  as  much  as  i  want  to,  right  ?  "

            wanting  to  toss  out  a  snarky  remark  about  how  he’d  probably  let  her  back  on  even  if  she  messed  up,  jihye  misses  her  chance  as  jaewon  dives  straight  into  his  podcast  intro.  instead,  she  mouths  along  to  every  word,  mirroring  his  gestures  but  in  an  exaggerated,  animated  manner.  she  snickers  away  after,  "  and  i'm  miss  loser  headass  but  at  least  i'm  hot,  j-j-jihye  !  "  she  matches  the  energy  of  the  introduction,  even  doing  a  little  dance  before  finally  settling  back  on  the  seat.  her  mouth  forms  an  o-shape  upon  finding  out  what  game  they  were  going  to  review,  "  you  know,  first  and  foremost,  i  misread  the  title  of  that  game  the  first  time  i  heard  about  it  from  my  chat  .  .  i  replaced  the  s  with  a  c  .  .  "  giggling  behind  the  palm  of  her  hand  and  going  on  with  her  antics,  she  hums  in  thought,  "  okay,  i'm  going  to  be  serious  now  .  .  i  do  like  this  game,  game  design  wise  i  think  it's  decent  ?  but  i  think  what  i  like  the  most  about  it  is  the  setting  .  .  hong  kong  is  such  a  chefs  kiss,  "  and  she  does  the  matching  gesture,  "  choice  as  a  setting.  the  chaos  just  adds  to  the  craziness  of  it  all.  "  she  says,  settling  her  hand  on  top  of  his  very  naturally,  "  what  about  you,  mister  ?  what  are  your  initial  thoughts  ?  "

" alright  alright  fine,  but  if  you  can't  remember  what  i'm  talkin'  about  when  i  start  the  game  review  .  .  .  you're  never  coming  back  to  the  podcast--  "  jaewon  was  half  joking  and  half  serious,  it  was  the  tone  in  his  voice  that  gave  it  away  but  in  all  honesty  ,  he  was  just  happy  to  finally  be  recording  something  with  her.  they  had  spent  almost  all  of  their  teens  and  very  early  adulthood  together  so  it  was  only  natural  for  this  to  take  place  sooner  or  later.  "  okay  .  .  .  in  three.  .  .  two  .  .  .  one  .  .  .  "  leaning  his  back  against  the  couch  and  shooting  her  a  warm  smile  ,  his  attention  moves  to  the  camera  before  he  starts  his  introduction  "  what  is  good  everyone  it's  your  won  and  only  ,  jaewon  back  with  another  'round  of  won  star  reviews  and  today  i  am  joined  by  the  beautiful  ,  caring   ,  loser  headass  that  is  my  best  friend  ,  miss  jihye!  and  today  we're  going  to  do  a  quick  lil  review  on  SLITTERHEAD  ,  the  new  game  featuring  you,  as  a  demon  who  goes  around  possessing  people  and  all  that  fun  stuff  but  before  we  get  into  it,  jiji,  your  turn  !  "  practically  introducing  their  podcast  in  one  breath  ,  he  was  pleased  with  himself  on  how  fast  it  was  ,  beaming  over  to  her  his  hand  placed  carefully  on  her  thigh  to  encourage  her  to  speak  before  once  again  leaning  back  against  the  couch.

          "  okay,  i  will  try  my  best  to  talk  about  the  game  -  wait,  which  game  are  we  covering  today  ?  "  the  female  asks,  head  tilting  slightly  to  the  side  while  making  herself  comfortable  on  the  plush  couch,  plump  lips  jutted  out.  "  actually,  you  know  what  -  i  don't  want  to  know  .  .  just  surprise  me  with  it  when  we  start  recording.  i  feel  like  my  review  will  come  out  more  natural  if  i  don't  know  what  game  we're  talking  about  ahead.  "  a  smug  expression  presents  itself,  knowing  fully  well  that  jaewon's  curiosity  would  be  piqued  by  her  proposition  covering  her  dad's  love  life.  after  all,  jaewon  has  been  there  through  it  all  -  from  her  mom's  passing  and  now  years  later  when  her  dad  has  put  himself  back  into  the  dating  field.  nodding  in  acknowledgment,  she  gestures  over  to  him  with  both  hands,  "  no  you  can  do  your  intro  !  i'll  just  piggyback  off  of  you  !  "  combing  her  hair  through  her  fingers,  she  straightens  up  on  the  sofa,  wriggling  her  brows  at  her  best  friend,  "  we  can  start  !  "

"  not  gonna  lie..  i'm  super  curious  about  your  dad's  new  girlfriend  too . . .  so  i  guess  we can  find  a  way  to  move  into  that  topic-"  it  was  true  ,  not  wanting  to  admit  how  nosy  he  actually  was  despite  knowing  that  she  would  always  pick  up  on  his  curiosity  for such  juicy  topics.  as  he  double  checked  everything  was  set  up the  way  he  liked  when  it  came  to  his  podcast ,  he  gave  her  a quick  nod  before  turning  on  the  mics  and  camera.
