Billy's brows knot and wrinkle in the exact way that indicates he thinks something is dumb. Of course, the other might be a moron there was no telling. Everything is painted so easily and expressive across his face. It was one of his faults, he thinks. He couldn't hide anything or how he felt about something if his life depended on it. But it's not all bad. After all, he could be a guiding hand in the right fucking direction for Eddie 'cause for someone with such nice hair it was a god damn mess. Which was a shame.

(And he's not judging entirely too hard either. He only knew 'cause it was one of the things his mom liked best about him. Always telling him and showing him how to make the most of the curls in his blonde hair. Eventually, his interest increased when he noticed when he dressed nicely he got more attention from those around him. It felt nice to look pretty even if the word grates at his soul a bit.)

"Yeah, and you look like a rat's nest. You should let me clean you up, man. Maybe there is something shiny and pretty underneath the..." His hands gesture broadly to Eddie.

chrissy turns to him, catches her off guard. eddie says possibly the sweetest things she's heard, to her with meaning and intent. and that feels. it feels so good and warm and gooey and she cannot put it into words. she's in one of his shirts picked it out because she's staying the night ( she really didn't plan to, she just doesn't want to go home ) her cheeks turn pink and she smirks, all knowing. still, still. it's soft and quiet. almost delicate the way she walks over to him, he's on the bed and it's like magnetic almost. she sits next to him, her hand reaches out. lands on his cheek, gentle. "-i have a small idea." it's soft, giggles then. "tell me about it, baby." her tone goes from cheery to sultry almost, teasing. wants to know. badly. they can swap secrets. she's glad that it's not only her dealing with what eddie does to her, ever since chrissy caught feelings, she wants to hear it, she wants him to know too. he has to know.

          she  hesitates,  watches  him  for  a  moment,  then  replies,  “ you  know  what  studying  is,  don’t  you ? ”  she  didn’t  want  to  assume  anything  about  eddie—she  really  tried  not  to  if  she  could  help  it—but  she  knew,  factually,  that  he  had  been  held  back  a  couple  of  times.  maybe  he  didn’t  give  that  much  of  a  fuck  about  school,  but  he  couldn’t  say  that  she  hadn’t  tried  to  help  him.

          “ they’re  flashcards, ”  she  supplied  after  a  minute.  “ y’know—to  help  you  study ? ”

' hawkins, like most small towns, didn't have many cool places to hide out besides someone's garage when their parents were out of town, so most times her late nights were spent out in the woods. if you were lucky, you could run into no one and drink a beer in peace. other times, the football team would be offroading in someone's truck and would almost run you over.

Okay here is the new line up for the foreseeable future. I just cannot keep trying to offer as many people as I was, especially when honestly so few are getting any attention and to try and get muses traction would be effort and energy I just cannot afford to give rn.

I'm sorry to anyone who was looking forward to some of these muses or had enjoyed ping with them in the past but I just gotta make things more practical for me. Hopefully I can bring some of these back in the future when life is less hectic but for now I just have to be realistic. Much of these muses get absolutely little to no interest and I cannot put in the time and energy rn to try and change that. Plus even when I HAVE tried in the past to do that for some it's been unsuccessful so I'm just not interested in trying again when my time and energy is more finite. I picked all these muses for a reason and would love to be able to write them all but that's just not realistic.

None of the decommissioned blogs will be deleted they will simply be left inactive and likely moved elsewhere to be archived for the foreseeable future so this account can remain tidy. If any get brought back I'll let you all know.

chrissy nods, pouring the batter into the mold. she nods along to what eddie is saying. until he mentions killing people, it's probably just an exageration. but as someone who was living life in autopilot mode, she gets it. she is baking on the counter, the recipe book somewhere off to the side and has had eddie sat on the bar chairs where it was usually her dad having breakfast. her parents aren't around and won't be until late tomorrow so. it's one of those days. "i get that now. i think i have hobbies now, so no killing anyone from my part." she looks around. "-except maybe my kitchen, i think the hard thing is when you don't know what you like, and there's so much you can do. and i know it is a hobby so you don't have to be good at it, but what if i totally suck at it? what if this cake sucks?" she shuffles around then, puts the mold on the side and really looks at eddie. she's worrying over nothing for sure. but he got the ball rolling so now the ball is rolling.

something about dying and not really dying, messes you up. chrissy is acutely aware of the fact. she doesn't remember dying all too well, but eddie does. and sometimes she has to remind him, that she is here and in one piece. they spent hours doing nothing, talking. chrissy can't sleep during night time, she's taken to napping whenever she's too exhausted to do anything else. and she doesn't pry how other people are dealing with the everything of it all. she just smiles, something quiet. like her heart could break, the way he asks. "-i promise, i'll be here, you just get some rest. we have the rest of the day, okay?" it's not her fault, it's not like she wanted to die. but she felt a lingering responsibility over this. she hesitates at first, but she runs her hand on top of his head. to soothe almost.
