Legato hasn't heard. There's yet been no one who both would and could tell him what was happening and the man is at work, not looking at his phone for news he might possibly piece together.
So he doesn't know, he hasn't heard, he wasn't warned.
And he isn't expecting a familiar form lurking in the shadows when he's scolded into taking a break instead of trying to work straight through it again. It's his threads that tell him there's someone there before he steps out but the signature is familiar and comforting, if confusing. Why was he here?
"Livio?" Legato cocks his head, frowning. He smells blood and Livio, for all his shy bulk, doesn't lurk. "No, Razlo?" He sounds confused, looks utterly normal and harmless in his work uniform instead of his duster, apron over a striped long sleeve and khakis. He steps closer, blinking to adjust from the bright lights of the kitchen to the gloom of the alley.
"What happened?" If it was a normal day, Livio would have just come in the front and asked for him or just waited to be noticed. This isn't normal and his nose is full of iron.
"The Evildoers Who Do Good"
We're not gonna talk about what's been going down. Crack open a newspaper, look into the shadows, follow the screams and you'll no doubt run into trouble, or the very least someone who's talked to their brother's best friend's grandma who heard from her neighbor what happened. It's fine.
Razlo, who heard directly from the devil's mouth what happened, and forcibly wrestled control of their grievously injured body, only wishes he heard what'd happened from a nosy neighbor or two who he could threaten.
Lying low isn't what he enjoys. It's boring, and between the swimming consciousness of Livio, and the wounds that just won't heal to his satisfaction, he isn't thrilled!
His phone's been smashed, so there's no getting ahold of any of the appropriate party, either. But that doesn't mean he can't lurk a bit, much like their adversary had-- his intentions are a bit less bloody, though. Though they'd fought in the past, and Livio had been used as bait essentially once, Legato is at the very least someone who can be counted upon.
Which is why he's outside his place of work, lurking in the shadows and waiting for the other man to take his break.

"I'm not pouting." He's not! The mocking eases a little of the hurt though, whether or not that was Razlo's intention. His mouth is still pulled into a dissatisfied frown though.
It figures that he won't be able to check in again unless he comes within range of Legato's threads but that also explains why he just showed up instead of calling or texting. Legato sighs.
"If I see them I'll check in. I have enough power I can stop one person." Legato almost hopes this false Wolfwood tries something. Let him take out some of his frustration with events twisting him into pretzel shapes. "Be safe," he says and turns his bike to speed off toward Umber, Home and the Ark. Its the only thing he can do and the only use he'll be right now.
Surprisingly gentle as it is, the dismissal still feels like being told he's not needed or wanted. Its not true, even if he thinks it might be right now, but it still hurts.
"Fine." He grits his teeth and the word sounds hollow to his ears. Its not fine, nothing is fine or has been fine. Maybe it might be sometimes but it all falls apart so easily.
"If you can't contact me for some reason I'll probably be at the Ark." He swings his leg back over his bike, starts it back up. "Don't get yourself killed being stubborn. Please." Its all he can manage.

Legato stares back, both of them far too stubborn. This would be much easier with Livio but Livio isn't here right now so he has to make due with Razlo.
"Its easier with other hands." He takes a breath and runs his hand through his hair. "You're going to make me leave without letting me help at all?" Useless here too huh? That figures. Its a hollow feeling in his chest that keeps growing every time something new awful happens.
"Fine. Either let me know or have Livio let me know later that you two are fine. I'll check on Vash and Knives if the sandstorm isn't still going." If Vash lets him check on him and if they're not both... "I suppose I'll see you later then."

Sensing he's overstepped, Legato is quiet and only follows directions to Razlo's hideout until they get there. There's nothing to say as he drives anyway, not really any way that he can help with words that he won't immediately mess up.
'Ah yes try to contact the man who just came after you with intent to kill who also happens to be your brother.' Very good idea Legato, almost as good as continuing to influct his presence on the man whose life he threatened to force Stampede into killing him. He hasn't told Livio he knows now. He's not sure he will.
But thats for a later time. He pulls them to a stop and doesn't hover when Razlo gets off only because he's watching him with his threads instead.
"I hope you have something I can fix those with. We can't have you bleeding out," is all he says as he pockets his keys."

Two extremely stubborn men who are all but unmoving in their convictions and decisions except now everything's shifting and resettling into something new and different. Legato has the advantage of not being the one bleeding out today even if Razlo is plenty big enough to make him go away.
"That will just have to be corrected later," he says through the bitterness that wants to well up. At least he's not alone in being avoided he supposes. "This is becoming a liability when things happen like this."
He just wants to be able to help. He can't if he can never get to anyone to do so.
Knives, Knives, please be alright.
"I.... ah. Alright." That was... insensitive of him. Remembering these things, especially in crisis mode like this, is hard. He's trying. "I will try to call him and Knives when we get there, then we'll get you patched up." And then... Then they'd have to figure out what to do about it all.

Razlo still thinks he can get Legato to leave before helping as much as he's able. It's funny, how much he underestimates Legato's dedication to the few people he cares about. Razlo might not be on the list exactly but Livio is and they share a body so he's stuck with the psychic now too.
Wolfwood, attacking Livio? Even a shade of him doesn't make sense... But it does actually. The Revenant killed Knives, why wouldn't a shade of Wolfwood go after his brother? The Stars are quick to bring them all to ruin after all. They aim the weapons that will hurt the most and their shots are deadly accurate.
He doesn't comment on Razlo's obvious worrying.
"I suppose I'm not surprised. Neither of them have spoken to me in a while. I'd hoped that the novelty of me calling would be enough to jarr them into responding." The fact that Stampede didn't pick up is expected but Vash? That hurts a little and Legato can't decide if he'd rather it be because he didn't want to talk to him or... No. He'd rather the younger be alright and just, not talking to him for some reason.
"At least leave a text, maybe they're just not paying attention." He pauses, focusing on his driving for a moment.
"Try Wolfwood. If there's a doppelganger of him running around either he already knows and we should find him or he needs to be informed." Keep calm and focused, act like the leader of the Guns he used to be. Razlo might not have ever followed him but focusing on the way authority used to feel helps him keep his focus.

At least Legato can't hear the hiss over the hum of the starcycle's engine or he'd be just even more upset then he is already. It's only going to compound the problem honestly once he finds out just how hurt the two are.
Legato is not a reckless driver, though he is in a hurry. The advantage of his wires is that he knows exactly where every other driver is without having to look so being in a rush and sliding between and around others on the street is child's play. And there's no bumps when the bike hovers so Razlo's wounds aren't getting jarred.
He does hand over his phone without responding to the uncooperative tone. It's Razlo, it's to be expected. And the irritation is better then him being so hesitant.
"What is it, you haven't even told me what it is. What's hunting us?" He can't reach Knives. He can't make it physically and, even if he was close enough, his wires wouldn't make it through the sandstorm well. Too much static in the air.
He was trying to be positive, trying to trust the Plant to be able to take care of himself and this was not helping his nerves any, thank you Razlo.
"Start with the Vashes, I'm here and not going anywhere so don't worry about me right now."

"Start with the Vashes, I'm here and not going anywhere so don't worry about me right now."
"Then stop acting like it," Legato snaps back. He's rattled too, rattled and worried and anxious but he's usually most of these things so he can deal with it, he can. He angles a shoulder back to nudge Razlo in the arm.
"Call Stampede while I drive and we'll figure something out. If he doesn't answer I can try to find him, though I can't reach the whole city at once, it's too big." He'll give himself one hell of a migraine and possibly a nasty nose bleed but he could find Stampede.
He doesn't know where Vash is. He hasn't spoken with him since the incident in Archimedes. That still digs claws of anxiety into his chest when he thinks about it so he tries not to.
"I told you, I won't be able to reach Knives until the sandstorm blows out. Probably this evening. They don't last that long luckily. He should be safe enough at home."

Legato thinks for a moment that he'll have to drag Razlo onto his bike manually, which the man would not appreciate and would be a waste of his very limited uses of his power. He stares expectantly up at him, waiting and conserving the battery, until the mountain of a man settles awkwardly behind him.
He winces at the sound of far too much blood. They're hurt, badly, and if Razlo is out and also searched him out... things are bad. Very bad. So no, he doesn't comment as he starts the bike and gets moving. He notes it all for when they reach wherever Razlo's leading him, because he's not getting away without letting Legato actually help.
"I don't have to leave you to check on them, that's what phones are for, Razlo. Besides, if you've already been attacked I'm not about to leave you two to go gallivanting across the island. Was that not the reason Livio was upset with Wolfwood if the aftermath of the undead incident?" He wouldn't normally point that out but here Razlo was trying to make him do the same thing. Stupid.
"Its foolish to separate."

Legato would have been intimidated before, after Livio had attacked him that very first time. Now though, after everything, he's no more unnerved by Razlo then he would be Livio. He just nods once and tilts his head toward the side of the building, where his starcycle is parked.
"There's a sandstorm on the forecast in Umber, we wouldn't make it back before then anyway. It's likely safe enough at home with that going on." Legato doesn't know how human or not the threat is, doesn't know if it's something that would challenge Knives, but his partner has enough of his own power that he should be alright. When Legato knows what they're dealing with, he'll call Knives and fill him in.
He'll be alright in the interim. He has to be, Legato can't reach him through a sandstorm.
The man leads the way to his bike, settles on it with ease and familiarity.
"Direct me then. The faster we get there the sooner you can fill me in and we can make a proper plan."

"Razlo, I can't help if you don't tell me what happened," Legato says, then huffs. "Stay there." He ducks back into the back door of the cafe and calls out to his coworkers.
"I need to go, an emergency turned up. I'll let Hansol know if I need more time to deal with it." He grabs his duster to the dismayed encouragement of his coworkers, rushing him out to deal with whatever happened, and emerges back into the alley tugging off his hat and apron, slinging his duster over the rest of his uniform.
"If you won't talk here we can go somewhere else. Nothing's come for me yet but if something came for one of us you know it will hit more. Your place? My bike is around the corner." He's all business, ready to go and expectant that Razlo will be coming. Or guiding him elsewhere. Gold eyes are intense and focused when they stare at the bulk still trying to hide in the shadows of the alley.

Legato knows what Livio sounds like when he's unsure and a little nervous but this is more then that. Something absolutely happened and it's not Livio, its Razlo who's... scared? What the hell scares someone like Razlo?
"You're hurt," he says instead of immediately answering the question because that's what he's focused on, the smell of blood. "You're not healing it either, which means it's bad. Let me help." Then he blinks and frowns.
"Of course I'm me, what does that mean? The only twitchy thing I've seen is you. What happened?" Another pause and he growls, eyes narrowed and teeth bared angrily. "What did the Stars do to us this time?" It can really only be one thing here, with a question like that.
