it's that time of year i watch fruits basket again and i love it so much. it was the first anime i got into without my sisters' influence so i hold it so dear to me 😭 it definitely became more of a comfort after i got into jjk bc we have:

nakamura yuuichi (gojo -> shigure)

uchida yuuma (megumi -> kyo)

shimazaki nobunaga (mahito -> yuki)

sakurai takahiro (geto -> ayame)

especially bc aya and shigure are exactly satosugu, more homoerotic.

the fact that megumi's jpn va (uchida yuuma) is the more talkative one between them and it puts yuuji's jpn va (enoki junya) at ease heals something in me. they're so heckin cute and i love their dynamic. uchida's laugh is so precious 😭

disclaimer : i am not shipping the seiyuu's. i just thought it was funny that in this small aspect of them they're reversed in comparison to their characters

It's so funny to me that the studio kept calling uchiyama kouki (inumaki's jpn va) regularly to record. even he said "I thought they would just use old takes or takes they hadn't used before, but I kept having to record."

I wanna know what it's like in the studio having to record "shake... tuna tuna... okaka!"

eguchi takuya (jpn VA for loid forger / dot barrett) often pees himself when he drinks too much alcohol?

one time has him building confidence as he sits in a taxi on the way home. he thinks "ah, it's not that bad right now" only to immediately pee himself the second he stands up out of the taxi.

another time was when he woke up on the couch with his back drenched. he can't remember what happened but he assumes the most probable answer to be that he mistook his couch for the toilet and started peeing on it, then proceeded to pass out on the couch.

eguchi takuya is too transparent and unhinged for his own good

uchida yuuma voicing bad-at-feelings tsundere characters (kyo, uenoyama, megumi) is my favorite thing ever because he's such a ray of sunshine?? his laugh is so goofy. oH and he puts out music, listen to them babes!

the contrast of dot barett and eguchi takuya (his jpn VA) bc in cast interviews when ishikawa kaito (lance), kobayashi chaiki (mash), ueda reina (lemon damn i miss the yellow option on here so bad), and kawashima reiji (finn) are being chaotic he's just 🧍‍♂️

eguchi takuya is just so interesting to me bc he's so stoic even when recording silly lines XD

the way i'm so insanely pissed off with myself bc i watched all 50 episodes of tokyo revengers and i didn't notice that hanma was voiced by eguchi takuya (loid forger, dot barrett)??

i'm gonna be honest, i failed every time recognizing a seiyuu throughout all of tokyo revengers except for shimazaki nobunaga (izana, mahito) and hanae natsuki (koko, tanjiro, niko). slammed my head through a wall when i couldn't name enoki junya (inupi, itadori)

the day is low. the sun is high and the day is low. i'm ashamed of myself and sad i didn't know that i finished whatever was animated of tokyo revengers. waiting with bated breath for season 4... i will be reading the manga tho

just watched the first ep of twilight out of focus and besides the fact that i'm interested in the plot and am already excited for next week's episode– uchida yuuma is such a comfort voice for me. no joke he's the reason i started jjk bc i fell in love with his voice in Fruits Basket (kyo) and years later watching Given (uenoyama) made me miss him so bad. so i've been so happy hearing him in Wind Breaker (Sakura) and now Twilight Out Of Focus

it's that time of year again when i rewatch 「corpse party: tortured souls」 got into it years ago bc i spiraled into watching horror, but now that im actually into anime im really rewatching it for nakamura yuichi (gojo's jpn va) and shimono hiro (zenitsu / dabi jpn va)

ahhh this is more sad than scary tho. i really wanna play the game tho
