Collective book haul from the last 4 months. Since I feel I haven't posted one in a while. I've been on a book buying ban for the most part, only buying books that I'm super hyped for. The goal for the end of the year is to reduce my TBR to 150 books instead of it being 184 (currently.) I've read 16 books so far this year, goal is 30 but would like to make it 40 if I can. More bookish posts in the future, given I get into a rut where I just post makeup but makeup for me is like posting art, I enjoy it. It helps me escape much like books do and I view it like painting. Putting your art or what you love out there should be about your love and passion for it, not the amount of likes you receive. Which is why I'll always keep doing me regardless of comments I receive or how people view me. Its not always about vanity. Irregardless I treat all my various social medias like parts of my soul. Tumblr is where I post what I like. Twitter, I get my thoughts and feelings out, here art. Repaint.

The idea of repainting is exciting.

What you only know is that, you’ll eventually color it with the one you’ll want. But, what you don’t know is the process. You know, mixing(if there’s a need to), which is tiring and costs time. Also, the very first basic process hurts-buying which is costly, opening the bucket which is truest difficult, and pouring it to the basin which is messy. Before you even start, you have to put stoppers, to not include areas which shouldn't.

Repainting isn’t just physical, but it touches your soul too. The fear and doubts of starting to brush it off. But when you start coloring already, it just feels right and you just can’t stop. It is tiring but definitely fulfilling at the same time.

Then it’s done, you just look at it and it gives content to the heart. It is looking at the same old thing, but better and just brand new version of it.

Then you thought the process is done, it isn’t. You still have to clean the brushes, clean the basin, double check if buckets are tightly closed, and keep your beautiful, helpful paints.

Coz you did it yourself and alone, it sure will take time. You’re done for today, and start with next tomorrow. Repeat until all areas painted. It will take time, it will take several repeats. it will hurt, it is exhausting... But in the end, it will show the better view, with better you.

Repaint life-it’s all worth it.

You’ll never know what kind of anak you are and you were until you get older, old enough where becoming friends with parents becomes natural. You’ll be more open to each other, your Parents will again get to know the adult version of you-coz at some point in our youth, we lost the connection with them. Then we come back with better versions of ourselves. The more accepting with the fact that our Parents are just humans too, they make their own mistakes and they let you too, because it will help you.

The older stage where you again ask advise and listen, coz you asked, to your Parents. You listen and listen well, coz you know you want it, you need it... No punishment needed, it’s just gaining wisdom.

You become friends where the awkward questions comes smooth without you even asking how come that question was asked. Older where you can decide for yourself better, and they let you. Older where you talk and they listen well. Older where you make decisions and they trust you. Older where you get annoyed but understand more. 

Older where you realize how much your Parents age, and that it hurts
