TOUCHSTARVED 2.0: Them Changes (spoiler warning!)

Hello, all! Below is a HUGE (~3K words) post about all the changes I noticed in the Touchstarved 2.0 prologue/demo. It's as much for my benefit as for yours, and I'll hopefully be incorporating some of these notes into my loresheets in the next couple of weeks.

Long story short: There’s been a lot of changes. I thought that even before I skipped through Fulgur’s full TOUCHSTARVED playthrough as reference and discovered even more changes I'd forgotten about. The sheer amount of sentence rewriting and reorganizing, as well as minor dialogue additions, is too much for me to cover: I have to commend the writers on the RSS team for their hard work.

Luckily, a lot of the rewriting is ultimately inconsequential (thank GOD). But I do want to highlight some changes I felt were important to characterization and story, as well as anything that just really stood out to me as someone who played the 1.0 demo, like, twice or three times with the intention of looking for clues and shit.

NOTE: These notes cover ONLY the main prologue, i.e. there's nothing in here from the LI-solo routes after the Wet Wick group scene. I'll get to those, and I want to! But it won't be today.

Kuras: Introduction

Definitely, there were dialogue changes and additions in Kuras’s introduction. However, to my memory, there was nothing that would change his characterization significantly. So, we’ll skip right over him. Love you, Kuras! Thanks for making things easy.

If you have any big changes that you noticed in Kuras's introduction compared to the first demo, let me know either on this post, or in an ask! I always miss stuff and I'd appreciate the check.

What I will say about Kuras's introduction, though? The MC says that “[Kuras] towers over [their] prone form” and... Technically, they're supine. "Prone" means you’re face down, which MC clearly is not.

Leander and the Adderstone: Introduction

This is gonna be the longest section — 3 pages on my Google Docs. Please hang in there!

As stated in the RSS devlog for the 2.0 update, Leander's introduction has changed quite a bit. But I actually want to start by talking about Leander's followers first — previously the Bloodhounds, now the Adderstone. First: the name.

An adderstone is a glassy stone with a naturally occurring hole through it. There are all kinds of myths about the creation and use of these stones, which I encourage you to look up (it’s fun to learn!) but they have a strong connection with druidic magic; druids believed that serpents would gather in giant entangled “knots” and that the stone would be produced at the center of that knot.

Already you can see a connection with Le in the magic connotations, but the snake reference is not to be ignored, either for him or his group. An adder is a venomous viper — while their bites are not usually fatal to humans, they are quite painful, and they show up often in Welsh and British folklore. (Maybe all those people who thought Leander was British were actually right!) Perhaps MC has unknowingly walked into the center of a knot of snakes.

To me, this change in name also mirrors the change in the way the group acts. The Bloodhounds were rowdy drunks, though well-meaning, and did as Leander commanded like loyal dogs. They crowd around for the treat of his magic and disperse at his command, and yell at the MC angrily when they bring up the Senobium.

By contrast, the Adderstone is a much more insular, subdued group. After Leander’s impassioned speech against the Senobium, you are stopped from speaking to him by one of its members, as if he’s a high-ranking official or something. In addition, when you mention the Senobium, instead of being outwardly angry, the Adders go silent and wary.

In addition, this new Adderstone has:

No motto. The Bloodhounds’ motto, stated on their poster, was “As above, so below.”

No uniforms. Leander’s Bloodhounds all wore green cloaks.

With the Adderstone discussed, it's time to turn to the man of the hour.

Mainly, Leander has now been established as a Man Of The People, one who is actively encouraging Lowtowners to stay away from the Senobium. This is a huge change from his "gregarious performer" personality, and it seeps into all of his new introduction (which is a good thing!).

Leander is now an anti-traditionalist. In both versions of the demo, he asks if MC is aware that in Eridia, "information is worth its weight in gold." However, in 2.0., he follows that up by saying that he "[doesn’t] much care for outdated traditions," and opts to tell you the truth without any "payment."

Leander presents himself as one of many victims of the Senobium's "propaganda," saying that he used to idolize them until he realized they were an elitist organization. This is in line with his socmed fun fact, which states that he turned down the opportunity to become a Senobium mage to pursue his own ambitions: clearly, something to do with his presence in Lowtown, though I won't go so far as to say he's trying to uplift the district or anything yet.

In addition to these points, Leander's more outwardly sexual, submissive, and flirty personality in his intro has been toned waaaay down in favor of making him seem more like a competent leader of a...rebel organization? I'm not quite sure what the Adders are in contrast with the Senobium.

Here are some examples of his more leaderly traits and the removals of his more fanservicey behaviors in his introduction.

Leander asks if you're looking for a guide or an escort to the Senobium, whereas in the last version he does not mention taking you there himself at all. Implies that he's taking direct responsibility for you.

It's now explicitly stated that his line, "You can tie me up if it makes you feel better," is a joke to ease tension and not actually flirting. He also doesn't blush :(

The bartender doesn't mention Leander's "escapades" explicitly anymore.

Small change, but in 2.0, Leander tells you to take a deep breath and counts you down to touching him, whereas in 1.0, you count yourself down. He's guiding MC's behavior.

Before, in the tavern scene, Mhin asks if Leander warned MC about Eridia. In 1.0, he did not; in 2.0, he does in fact warn you that, “Eridia is twice as dangerous as it is wondrous. Be careful out there."

This definitely makes him seem more dependable, but less cute, in my opinion. I was particularly crushed by devs cutting Le's line, "Look, we match!" when talking about his gold jewelry and MC's gold scars. This has been replaced with, IMHO, a weak flirty line that doesn't endear me as much to him.

The devs stated in their 2.0 changelog that Leander's character is still the same, but that his new intro is a better reflection of his full route. At this point, I disagree: I think he's being portrayed as very different here, though my opinion may change once I do his post-tavern scene.

Though I'm sure some people thought of Leander as flat when compared to the other LIs, I think that added to his whole "too good to be true" and "let me be the reprieve for what haunts you" angle — someone who seems totally normal, but is actually a danger to you.

Of course, the first angle has been retained with him being the heroic opposition to the Senobium. But he's gone from a clumsy, cute everyman with impressive magical powers to the leader of a kind of movement, which is very different as far as archetypes go (to me, at least). It's certainly possible that we'll see this other side of him later, or even that I'll see it whenever I do his post-tavern scene, but he leaves a very different first impression.

I also wonder if devs were worried that Leander was being oversexualized before his route came out because of all the references in his intro, and decided to 1) curb people's impressions of him as the local slut and/or 2) cut down on disappointment when there's no sex in his route by introducing his moral mission first.

(To clarify, I wasn't under the impression there would be fully written sex scenes or NSFW CGs, but I don't know if they're planning to do a fade-to-black situation, or not have any sex present at all.)

Finally, and this is a note about MC during this section: I noticed that the wording of their previous "experience" has been changed.

Why change this to make it more vague? It's not like it was raunchy before. The 2.0 line reads more like the MC, I think (mainly the first sentence), and also clarifies for everyone that the reason MC may not be a virgin is because touching their naked shoulder is safe. But, when I was reading it, I was like, "Why change this line, of all the lines?"

1.0: I've been with other people — kissed them, been embraced by them, and more — but not like this.

2.0: It’s not as if I’ve never been touched. My curse only extends to my hands, and desperation spurs creativity.

I guess you could ask that for any line that was changed, though, and it's not like I was particularly attached to it. But it does seem like another instance where a more direct reference to sex was omitted.

Vere: Introduction

Vere’s dialogue was definitely altered and significantly shuffled.

The main change is that now you’re able to walk away from Vere, which causes him to break from his careless façade — another thing mentioned in the social media posts (that Vere is not naturally aloof and needs to work to affect this behavior). He just wants someone to play his little mind games with :(

Vere's dialogue has also been made a little more classy, perhaps, by removing the mention of a handjob and the word "sex" from his intro. Not that it's a huge loss, considering he kept all his other innuendo.

Finally, Vere's line after smelling MC has changed, and this is one I think is real suspicious.

Did devs feel like his initial line was, perhaps, giving too much away? Or has the intention of the line changed? Basically what I'm asking is: will we still find out, later in Vere's story, that there's some sort of kinship between MC and Vere in what kind of being they are?

1.0: Not quite human, not quite monster. Seems we’re both—

2.0: There’s something else... / It seems I underestimated you. You’re—

These are really the only major changes, though — the rest didn't change much, just moved around. Thanks for that, Vere. This is the ONLY time you’ll find me thanking you for anything, at least until you start taking my commissions to draw Ais oiled up and tied down.

The Senobium / Ais: Introduction

Ais's dialogue was changed the least out of all the LIs, as far as I can tell, which to me suggests that devs have the best idea of his characterization and the strongest foundation for his route compared to the rest. Makes sense, since he's the poster boy. But he does change one of his lines, and I'm kinda mad about it even though it's literally soooo inconsequential. This is Ais's response after you ask him where the gang he's supposed to be the leader of even is:

Literally a one-word change! But to me, that was a line that helped define Ais's voice, and I'm sad it's gone.

1.0: Gang took a walk.

2.0: They took a walk.

Really, though, I'll be spending this section focused on the newly named Iris, the "red-eyed woman" who appears outside the Senobium to take you to the Seaspring. MC's interaction with her changed quite drastically compared to 1.0.

Her appearance, or the description of it, has changed. Before there was a lot of emphasis on her physical features (gauntness, smiling too widely) whereas now it's all about her clothing (lack of shoes, moth-eaten garments, jewelry).

In addition, instead of making idle small talk with you that the MC can choose to ignore, Iris asks you to your face if you need help.

Before, she never introduced herself, and was referred to simply as "red-eyed woman". This time, she politely introduces herself as Iris.

Overall, she now has a personality that isn't just "creepy lady". She's embarrassed when she shows MC the hole in her neck; she reassures the MC of their safety when they don't want to walk out of the city.

This one's weird: Before, the red-eyed woman waves you off, and you continue on to the Spring; now, Iris disappears right in front of you. What kind of power is that?

Iris is now a character made to directly contrast the Seaspring with the Senobium. Here is a woman, obviously kept alive by some mysterious and possibly sinister force, but one who holds her hand out to you and offers you assistance. In contrast, the Senobium's gates and patrolling staff scorn you and push you away because of your status as a poor "tourist". The Seaspring is the poor man's miracle and the outcast's salvation.

I also noticed two themes in Iris's dialogue that stood out: choice and honesty. She only mentions the latter once, if you answer her truthfully (saying "I do" when she asks if you need help), but because I wrote that post about Ais and honesty, it made me wonder... Is this a theme for Ais, as the de facto leader of the Seaspring's thralls, or for Ocudeus, as the Spring's host?

As far as the former, she mentions that you have a choice a lot. For example:

So, not only is Ais telling you to really consider if you want to join the Seaspring groupmind, but even other thralls are emphasizing that you have the ability to turn away from it.

1.0: If I’ve caught your interest, follow me. It’s only a short walk away.

2.0: I can take you there, if you like. You can decide on your own once you see it. [MC: And if I say no?] It’s your choice.

Speaking of the groupmind, how does Iris know her name? Ais says in both 1.0 and 2.0 that, “When you drink from the Seaspring, you forget who you are.” If that's the case (and if we're willing to excuse Ais retaining his own identity due to Main Love Interest Syndrome), how can someone like Iris introduce herself and retain her human personality?

You could say that the groupmind retains every person's individual personality, but I was under the impression initially that the groupmind assimilated all identities into one. Something to think on, and to wait for more information about.

Mhin: Introduction

In the transition from Ais to Mhin, we get to see more inclusion of socmed fun facts: The MC unwinds their glove in an attempt to touch the Soulless chasing them and pacify it long enough to escape. Look at our MC, with useful powers!

Some smaller changes with Mhin's characterization:

They've made Mhin more considerate :) In 1.0, they pull you to your feet and pretty much immediately let go of you; in 2.0, they hold onto your hand long enough, and ask you verbally, to make sure you're stable before letting go, even though MC can tell that holding your hand makes them really uncomfortable.

No more calling Mhin short :( I guess that would be rude to do to someone you just met and who saved your life...

Mhin gets to talk about their hobbies: anatomy!, although they say when asked that they "[haven't] quite" studied anatomy or medicine. This definitely gives them a scholarly layer that wasn't as clear before.

The biggest change is that Mhin tells you that they grew up in Eridia, and that the city used to be better than it is now. Literally, while I was playing, I said "What?!" out loud. This is huge, because Mhin's whole thing is that they were a "relative newcomer" to the city. However, they now know the streets well enough to navigate MC in the dark back to the Amaryllis District by themself, where they and MC run into Kuras.

So, with this change, I have a whole bunch of new questions. Is Mhin's released character summary and backstory going to change by the release of the full game? If not, why did they and their family leave? What brought them back when it seems like they hate it here? How long were they there before MC got there?

We'll see if some of these are answered in the after-tavern scene, but for now, I really don't know what to think. I appreciated having a character who was also fresh meat in the city while not being as fresh as MC, as it allowed for a little "new kid" camaraderie while still letting Mhin guide you and teach you about Eridia. We'll see where it goes!

The Tavern Scene

Mainly line changes here I wanted to comment on, but let's go through the minor characterization or world changes first.

The drink Leander gives you, the "local specialty," is now a pomegranate wine instead of a plum gin. Yeah, yeah, Underworld, forbidden fruit. I've been through a literary symbolism class before.

Vere is made to seem less drunk when you speak to him and Ais, as he's no longer hiccuping like he was in 1.0. Seems he and the demon can hold their liquor. I'll miss you, cute drunk Vere.

And now, the main event: dialogue alterations! Let's run through 'em.

Mhin's line to Vere when they first enter the bar: "I thought Ais wasn’t allowed to bring his pets in here." -> “I thought pets weren’t allowed in here.” This is probably to make Mhin seem more distant from Ais: after all, how would they know about Ais's affinity for pets or his relationship with Vere? This one makes sense to me, even though the first line is a better burn.

Vere's line to Leander, once Leander realizes that everyone already knows each other: “Mmhmm, I’m starting to suspect [MC's] stalking me.” -> “To think we’d cross paths once again. It must be fate.” I like this change because Vere is very fate-coded to me. Give him some tarot cards, stat.

Leander's paypig lines to Vere have been changed, probably for the same reason Mhin's lines to Vere were changed: to imply that, while they know each other, Le doesn't know enough about Vere to know his expensive tastes.

And then the line change I'm mad about, which I talked about in this post, when MC is complaining about Ais kicking them out of the Seaspring just so he could go drinking:

I know this is partially nostalgia bias, but I’ve already talked about Ais’s whole honesty thing, and literally his fatal flaw is that he “lets his emotions rule him.” Why change this line?

1.0: I was lonely.

2.0: Had to give you a reason to come looking. Miss me yet?

Although MC acknowledges that Ais’s more flirty response in 2.0 is a deflection rather than a real answer, my current understanding of Ais is rooted in his honesty and his heart-on-my-sleeve behavior. He even says that about himself when comparing himself to Kuras (at least, in the 1.0 version of his route). It feels like a loss not to maintain his almost-blasé attitude towards just telling you how he really feels.

minor update to the twerk-thineself-to-god, the-silence-is-the-answer post:

last week's sesh was the party finally entering the temple of a long dead dragon god. i basically just threw all of the weird esoteric symbolism that i know at them. everything in the temple was colored in alternating bands of black, white, red, black, white, red, with the black sections always having bas relief imagery of various afterlifes, the white images having intaglio relief images of the physical plane, and the red images showing hybridizations of the two.

like, the black section migth have flies buzzing over a field of slaughter, and the white section might show birds flying around a field of ripened grain, but then the red section might show horrific birds with fly eyes, or fly wings, or flies with bird wings and birds. just unsettling stuff like that. with all the fly parts jutting out of the stone, but all the bird parts being carved in.

idea was references to the alchemical processes nigredo, albedo, and rubedo, and the general dialectic processes of thesis, anthesis, synthesis, being applied to life and death. make something that isn't alive, or dead, or undead.

i didn't have a plan for this at the time, i just think it's neat and sets a very unsettling atmosphere.

boss arena was just a giant laboratory. the boss was a divine/arcane type caster that was trying to assemble a dragon shaped flesh golem about of hundreds of scavenged corpses. dragon golem was huge and a different motif i'd thrown in earlier to the campaign were these parasitic red crystals that they'd find growing off some corpses in the wood. sometimes partially harvested. sometimes found in living things that were insanely aggressive. again, no real plan, just creepy shit for its own sake. they'd kill people infested with the crystals and they'd babble about how it had made it too quiet to think. how good it felt to be able to think again, outside that silence.

anyway, i said the crystals were being used as scales for the false-dragon and they were all like AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

cue boss fight. still trying to figure out what to do with the silence thing. one of them gets downed. they're unconscious but they're not dead. cues my idea. i tell the unconscious guy he wakes up in a sort of silent pocket dimension. between life and death. and that there is something there with him. something huge.

so i had run like crazy around the purgatory space, trying to avoid the living-god dreaming-death mystery thing before it eats his soul, while the party fought the priest of that thing and killed it. then they could give him a healing pot. first thing he did after regaining consciousness was start babbling about the the silence and the dead god. they almost killed him again because they thought he was getting possessed or something. might come back to that later. it's a good idea to have in my pocket.

anyway, that's how flying by the seat of my pants is going. next session is loot divvying and heading back to town for R&R. the wizard in the group is super interesting in making golems, and the lab is like. perfectly set up for making flesh golems. so mayhaps i will try to lead him down the path of evil mayhaps. i think wizards think about the idea of rebuilding an avatar for an evil dragon god the same way that physicists think about building nuclear bombs, namely that it's neat, and probably unethical, but also, not the kind of thing one passes up the chance to do.

#D&D stuff #next sesh is the party in town so that is thankfully very low on planning #it'll be a session or two of just letting those knuckleheads spend money and decide who they want to be as people #very excited for it

Error 410 Author's Note (Updated!)

Hi! So, as I said before this is the author's note for the Error 410 fanfic. There are a lot of things that will be included in this note. But I will divide it into sections so it's easier for everyone (including myself)

This is very important in terms of the story, please read it. And this is the full thing. I have added the things which were left to include.

You can scroll down and read whichever part you are most interested in or read all of it, it depends on what you prefer.

Writing in Error 410

The Error 410 was written as a self- indulgent fanfic. I didn't expect anyone other than @ittybittyfanblog to read this story so all this support is appreciated. I feel like you all will get tired of hearing it but I'm so thankful to everyone who reads my stories. And I love you all. It really does make my day knowing that people like my work.

I started this series on 11th of April and it ended on 1st of May. If I hadn't taken that week long break, I feel like it would've ended earlier. And there are so many people who like my posts and read this story. It's unbelievable so thank you again.

I'd say my style of writing is mostly spontaneous, I do plan things but in the end what I will write, add or remove from the story is just based on what is going through my mind at that moment.

There were a lot of things that I wanted to flesh out and add which I couldn't exactly because of the reason I just stated and I will try to do better on this aspect.

But I'll probably try and flesh it out more in spin off series.

Non MC Reader

I never did give much thought to the Non Mc Reader because it was a self indulgent fic, she is very much based on me and my personal experiences.

I've had crushes and obsessions over fictional characters but at the end of the day, I could never fully find comfort in those fictional characters because a part of mind was always telling me that it wasn't real and the comfort I want is never gonna be given to me. That's why I always wanted to keep this feeling of detachment between them slowly turning into affection though I'm not sure if I was properly able to portray it.

Non MC Reader's looks

I do have a certain image of her in my mind which is the Non Mc Reader being underweight.

Of course it doesn't matter. You can imagine her looking any way you want when you read the story.

I have seen a lot of fanarts with MC and official arts. They are always so perfectly skinny. Chubby MC fanarts are rare and very adorable, I love them. But there is absolutely no representation for being underweight.

It is something I want to see represented more.

Non MC Reader's Backstory

Non MC Reader's Backstory isn't something I have thought about but I can give you a few things I kept in mind while writing her.

Non MC Reader doesn't really have a great relationship with her parents. She loves them and they love her and care for her but things still aren't working out.

She comes from a background where sex is a very hushed topic and as a woman, having sexual urges would always be very looked down upon which is the reason for her disgust towards being hypersexual.

Hypersexuality

Hypersexuality referred to as compulsive sexual behavior or sex addiction. It describes an intense focus on sexual fantasies, urges or behaviors that are difficult to control and cause distress.

It's a condition characterized by an excessive amount of time spent on sexual thoughts and activities, often to the point of neglecting other important areas of life.

Why was it included?

I feel like there are going to be people who aren't exactly sure why the Non MC reader was written to be Hypersexual in the fanfic.

There are a few reasons for it :-

Basically lack of representation.

The sexualization of this behavior.

I have said this before but hypersexuality is a very hush topic even in safe spaces for victims. There is this ideology of a 'perfect victim' which is someone docile and terrified, is repulsed by sex and the idea of it but there are people who are on the other side of spectrum.

They aren't given any recognition or comfort because they don't fit in this idea of how victims should act. Because of it, they are often shunned out and made to feel disgusted with themselves.

Hypersexuality being the way for the brain to cope is also a way for a person to fall into the pattern of self-triggering which isn't healthy at all.

The sexualization of being Hypersexual pisses me off the most because no, it's not sexy. It's not hot and it's not something for you to fetishize about. It's something that ruins people's lives, makes them feel disgusted with themselves and their body.

It has and continues to be a problem for me every single second of everyday and it's annoying, really annoying.

How does it feel being Hypersexual?

The best way I can describe it is by thinking of it as an itch. An itch that doesn't go away, no matter how many times you scratch it. It's always there and you want to scratch it but you can't do it every single second of your day and if you keep doing it, the skin will eventually get red and it'll start to hurt.

It's there and you just want to keep indulging it. It's starts with just one and then you just keep doing it for hours and in the end, you just feel so dirty and disgusting and guilty.

The only thing that actually seems to have some sort of value is your body.

The feeling is good but when that feeling goes away- all you can feel is guilt, anger, exhaustion. I mean how much can you indulge in this when you have college or a job or whatever that includes being around other people?

And if you are not around other people and bored then the urge gets stronger.

One more thing that I have heard and experienced is the sort of fear of sexual relationships. I know it's very ironic to be hypersexual and being scared of having sex.

There is always this fear in your mind that you are nothing more than how attractive your body is or how "useful" you are, how attractive you are.

And this fear leads to thought like "what if they don't find you attractive?" or "what if sex is all they want from you and then they are going to leave," at the back of your mind , when you do really like someone romantically.

It's so hard to be sexually active with your partner because it is something you think about a lot and want to do but it's also something you are scared to do because of those thoughts.

Still this is just my personal experience, I'm sure it's different for others.

Caleb

The passage between The Love and Deepspace world and the reader's world.

The passage between these two worlds is something I have thought about and what I was able to come up with was that there are two one-way passages between their worlds. One to leave the world and one to enter. I call them Promethean Passages.

So, let's just say the promethean passage to leave the world of Love and Deep space is Passage (1) and the promethean passage to enter the world of Love and Deep space is Passage (2)

The passage (1) is very hard to find, it has a fixed location in the world of Love and Deep space while the passage (2) is easier to find in the world of Love and Deepspace compared to passage (1) the location they appear is often random, and it is unclear how long they stay in one spot.

You can't go back if you enter one of those passages or tunnels and if something goes wrong, you are stuck there until your body ceases to exist.

I had planned to include it but I wasn't able to so that's why I think it's better to say it here.

As for how and where those tunnels are usually located, it'll be explained more in the spin off.

Caleb's evol

There was a part of me that wanted to keep Caleb's evol in reader's world but there are certain changes that happen to the people's bodies or abilities traveling through those Promethean Passages. As for the reason why the happens, it's in the fun facts.

He doesn't have his evol in reader's world and Caleb had to get used it. Because something like controlling gravity tends to come in handy a lot and he had learn to not depend on that anymore during the time he was studying to become a pilot in reader's world.

Potential self awareness in the other characters in Caleb's universe?

It is a reasonable thing to think that the other characters might become self aware because of the information they received from Caleb but I believe it was sort of different in this specific scenario.

When Caleb went to talk to MC, let's see it from her perspective. You have a friend you grew up with and love.

For a while now, he has been acting strange and you are sure he isn't mentally stable and then he comes to your house after months of not talking and tells you that he has a girlfriend in another universe and wants your help to travel to where his girlfriend is.

MC was really concerned for his mental state at that point. She talked to Sylus about this and he was able to find one of the Promethean Passages through his connections but it wasn't the one that Caleb wanted.

So, to answer your question, I do think it was start for MC and Sylus to be self aware but because Caleb is a very integral part of that world, when he left- his universe basically collapsed since a very important piece was suddenly missing.

That information was the start of a very important and enlightening knowledge and I'm sure Sylus would've tried to study more about Promethean Passages, even try talk Caleb about his mysterious girlfriend.

But unfortunately for Sylus and MC in Caleb's world, they weren't given enough time to really understand everything to the point Caleb did.

Caleb's metal arm/ prosthetic arm

Before I talk about it, I did want to include a prosthetic arm for Caleb in this fanfic and there are a few reasons why I didn't.

First of all, I don't want to represent something in my work that I do not have full knowledge upon or haven't experienced myself. I believe that fake and wrong representation is more harmful than no representation and maybe it is controversial to have that opinion.

But if I'm going to include and represent something in my work, I want to know and understand it fully. I don't want to half ass it or include it just for the sake of inclusion.

I did research on prosthetic arms and the type of prosthetic that Caleb has is known as Shoulder Disarticulation Prosthesis

Shoulder Disarticulation Prosthesis is relatively rare, while upper limb amputations are not uncommon, amputations occurring at the shoulder, including shoulder disarticulation and forequarter amputation, are less frequent.

The prosthesis for Shoulder Disarticulation do exist but they are not as common or available as the prosthetics for other amputations. The only prosthesis that I found even remotely similar to Caleb's prosthetic is from Prosthetic Innovations, LLC

The thing I was most confused about was if Caleb should keep the metal arm he already has or get a new one when he travels to the reader's world.

The new prosthetic arm wouldn't obviously be as technically advanced as the one Caleb has and a shoulder disarticulation prosthesis can range from $60,000 to $70,000 or even higher and Caleb wouldn't have the means to afford it for years.

And if he were to travel to reader's world with his prosthetic arm then neither of them would have the means for any update or repair of his metal/prosthetic arm which would make things really hard.

So, I decided against it in the end. I hope you all can understand my reasons and I will learn more about prosthetics so that I can include proper representation in my work.

FUN FACTS

Promethean Passages is something I named after the characteristics of one of the titans; Prometheus.

I read his greek myth (I don't know why) and what I personally believe is that his myth basically tells us that to have a prize you always have to sacrifice something in return and I really wanted to include that in my story.

Error 410 also known as a 410 Gone error is an HTTP status code, it means that the requested resource is permanently unavailable on your server and it has been intentionally removed.

I wanted the title to fit the story and the theme, I hope I did a good enough job.

Along with the quotes at the beginnings of the chapters, they were written to symbolize the feelings or the theme of the specific chapter. If some of you like re-read my fanfic, I hope those quotes were something fun to read.

"DR3 makes the Remnants of Despair blameless"

This is a statement I've heard many times before, and I think it's one that's both technically correct and also technically incorrect.

But overall, I think this is a statement that kind of ignores the nuance of what the "brainwashing" actually did or even the themes of the series. Because of that, I decided to make this post to clear up some confusion about this subject and explain my thoughts on it.

What the "brainwashing" actually is

For starters, no, brainwashing in Danganronpa does not turn them into mindless zombies and get rid of their "free will." I wrote an entire post about brainwashing on its own and the many misconceptions abut it. While there are some things I'd change or update now, I think overall it's pretty solid. The main reason I'm making this post though is to fill in a piece that I should have filled in then. But if you understandably don't want to read that massive post right now, I'll go over it again here.

The way the Despair video works in both Danganronpa Zero and Danganronpa 3 is that it uses subliminal messaging to strengthen the emotions that you are already feeling by watching the video. It does not "create despair," it amplifies it.

"'She just wanted to stir up the pent-up emotions of the Reserve Course. She got the Ultimate Hope involved in the whole thing for that sole reason, and then incited them all… No, it wasn't something simple like incitement… it was brainwashing.' 'Brainwashing…' Pain, along with violent itching, brought up that scene in my mind. The monitor's visuals I had seen beyond the Monokuma Heads in the underground facility. Crushing heads, cut-up faces, agonizing screams, the Mutual Killing's red lumps of flesh." -Referring to the despair video Ryoko watched in Danganronpa Zero

Notice how the phrases "incited" and "pent-up emotions" are used. Once again, this is because the subliminal messaging doesn't make you feel things, it amplifies what the video itself makes you feel.

This doesn't contradict Ryota's description of brainwashing, note how he describes it as "influencing" the viewer's brain, not controlling it.

This is also why I put brainwashing in quotes earlier, because Ryota says it's not just brainwashing, brainwashing techniques are just a part of it.

This is the whole reason why Junko needed to kill Chiaki in the first place, she needed a video that would make them emotional enough for brainwashing to have an actual substantial effect. If she just used the student council killing video, there's a chance they'd be able to resist it like Chisa or Ryoko did.

All the despair video did was overload them with feelings of despair, causing them to crave it as a way of coping with the despair that was just unleashed onto them.

The despair video did not:

Turn them into mindless zombies

Make them love or worship Junko

Remove their free will or ability to make decisions

All the video did was make them crave despair, how they went about it was entirely up to them. Like Nagito, for example, he gave into the despair by hating Junko, but he was never a mindless zombie.

In fact, I think even being able to resist the videos effects at all kind of implies that the video isn't forcing you to give into temptation. It gives you urges, but that's all. The Ultimate Despairs chose to give into their urges of despair. They also chose the methods of which they went about bringing despair. The video wasn't mind control, it doesn't have the technology to turn you into a mindless servant. In that sense, the despair video did not remove their autonomy and they still chose their actions.

Big fat massive however...

While it is true that their ability to choose what to do remained, the fact is that they only made the decisions they made and got their despair urges in the first place was because they were brainwashed. So it is also true that the person at fault isn't them, it's Junko and her video.

And that's the point, it isn't their fault that they made those choices. Some may say this is because Kodaka wanted to make them more redeemable, but I just completely disagree because it was always like this.

Makoto refers to them as victims at multiple points in Danganronpa 2, even saying that they were brainwashed and have the ability to go back to normal. Danganronpa 3 didn't make them more "blameless," it emphasized a theme and point that was there since the start.

Dialing it back

Themes of guilt and blame are things that have always existed in Danganronpa. I already mentioned how Danganronpa 2 refers to the Ultimate Despairs as victims, but there's plenty more examples of this.

Such as Ryota in Danganronpa 3. Ryota is threatened with his classmates' lives and is forced to develop the despair video for Junko. Would you say Ryota's at fault?

Of course not, and I doubt the anime wants you to believe that way either. But that doesn't stop Ryota from feeling this way. He's a victim, just like everyone else. A victim who was forced to make a choice that he now regrets.

Alternatively, we can look at Juzo as well. He was blackmailed with his biggest insecurity used against him, completely unaware of the despair that would soon follow. While you could argue he's more to blame than the others, the point is just like them, he was forced into a situation where he couldn't choose. He wasn't responsible for Junko's actions, but he still feels as if he was. He's a victim too. A victim who was also forced to make a choice that he now regrets.

This isn't a theme exclusive to Danganronpa 3. I already mentioned how it applies to Danganronpa 2, but it's been there since the first game.

When Chihiro feels at fault for judging Leon, Makoto tells them that it isn't their fault. Nor was it Sayaka's or Leon's. Even though they chose to kill, it was only because of the situation. It was the mastermind's fault, not theirs.

The big point

The big point throughout the series is that the many actions we see throughout the series are done so due to the situation these characters are forced in. From the very start, it's been established that the blame should go towards Junko, not her victims.

Guilt is a running theme in Danganronpa, even more so in Danganronpa 3. That's why the anime emphasizes it, showing us Junko's victims and how they were effected but also making it clear that even though they made the wrong choices, they only did so because of Junko.

Danganronpa 3 didn't make Class 77 "blameless." Saying so implies that the series wanted you to blame them in the first place.

What Danganronpa 3 did was emphasize the point and theme the series had been setting up for a long time. This is a story where Junko is the bad guy and these are her victims. This is how it is in the last entry, this is how it's been since the first game.

So yes, Class 77 chose to to give into their despair obsessed urges. Ryota chose to help make Junko's video. Juzo chose to lie about Junko. Chihiro chose to judge their classmates. Sayaka and Leon chose to attack. But they only made these choices because they were put into unavoidable situations by Junko.

It's not about who here is more guilty than the other, the fact is they're all victims of Junko at the end of the day. They were never supposed to be blamed, implying that Danganronpa 3 makes them blameless misses the point entirely.

You can say whatever you want about whether or not brainwashing is more or less interesting than the idea of Junko somehow manipulating 15 individual students that she doesn't care about in less than a year to turn them into despair super terrorists willing to hack off body parts and kill their own family, but at the end of the day I think saying that the brainwashing ruins the themes of Danganronpa 2 is just kind of incorrect.

Those are my two cents anyways.

Hello! I've gained a whole bunch of followers lately and I've been getting a lot of questions about commissions, what my setup is, what brushes I use, etc, so I thought I'd make a post about it to answer everyone's questions at once !

Commissions:

Commission prices are listed in my pinned post. You can send me a private message about your commission idea and we can get to talking :) It is helpful to have enough references handy (character, outfit, descriptions etc)

I am generally a fast drawer but I also have a job and a physical disability so there might be moments I can't work on your commission. But that is never longer than a few days at most.

Payment is upfront, the full amount and via paypal only. I know this might seem a bit scary but unfortunately there are a lot of people who end up not paying for commissions and I want to avoid that.

During the process I will send you frequent updates and will ask for input, to see if it is going in the direction you want. You can ask for changes during the sketching progress but once I've started on line-art and coloring, no big changes will happen. (You can for example ask for a different color for a shirt etc, but not for a different prop or pose or expression)

When it is completed, I will send the drawing to you via email. The drawing will remain mine and it is not to be sold or profited of by the person who commissioned me. If the commission is for something commercial/for selling, that needs to be discussed. I prefer to do drawings only for personal use!

How long have I been doing digital art:

I've been drawing digitally for about 5 years now i think? But before that I've been drawing and painting traditionally literally since the moment I could pick up a pencil.

Set-up:

It's just me and my ipad and apple pencil laying on my bed. I wouldn't even know where to begin for those whole multi-monitor/screen setups ;-; I draw only with Procreate

Brushes:

I tend to play with different brushes from time to time to get different textures, but generally i use the same few for most of my drawings/styles. My favorite one is the Peppermint Brush, for sketching. I use it in every drawing i make! I always sketch with it, and often do the line-art with it as well! And it makes for a nice textured brush for rendering as well! (i used it for a lot of rendering of the armor in this drawing)

The (procreate) brushes i use a lot are

for medieval style: inking - Ink Bleed (for line-art) artistic - Quoll (for coloring)

for general style: calligraphy - Chalk (coloring/rendering) sketching - Peppermint (line-art/sketching)

for realism: calligraphy - Shale Brush (full rendering) Also using the shale brush for smudging and erasing when drawing realistic

for lineart: smooth pencil from this pack by Heygiudi

How/why do you choose a base color:

I tend to look at a few different things when deciding on a base color/color palette.

the overall color of the reference pic

the color i associate with who or what i am drawing

the feeling/vibe i want to give off with that drawing

color has a BIG impact on the vibe of a drawing, so it is something i keep in mind when im drawing.

Using a color as a base to start, helps a lot with my drawing process. It helps me pick out other colors so they match better. It helps me get light/dark values right. And the chalk brush i use, has gaps between the strokes, so the base color will always come through a little. Having the same color come through in the entire drawing, helps pull all the colors together if that makes sense? I always start with a solid base color when i am painting traditionally as well!

Advice:

PRACTICE!!! just keep drawing and practice. I know this is such generic advice but truly practice is The Way. Learn from other artists but don't compare yourself to them. Everyone's artistic journey is different and there's no "good" or "bad". And most importantly make sure that you have fun when you're making stuff :3

I also learn a lot by studying art I admire and love. Figuring out what it is I like about it. (for example, the line thickness or the shapes or texture etc), and try to incorporate that in my own style in a way that is not directly copying or stealing.

NEWS ON THE SKEKGRA PREQUEL COMIC!!

So for those who don't know, BOOM! studios is releasing a comic series titled 'Jim Hensons Presents' which is said to include a collection of short stories from various Jim Henson properties, written and illustrated by various writers and artists. It will have four issues, with the first one releasing in January.

And in a trailer for the series, they revealed that we will get a Dark Crystal story focusing on Skekgra's backstory!

And since I'm incredibly hyperfixated on The Heretic and The Wanderer rn, I've been following the updates for this comic very closely. And, as I expressed in this post, I was very confused as to which issue the Skekgra story will be featured in, since different sources seemed to be implying different things.

But now, I've figured out why there was so much confusion, and the explanation is pretty exciting!

We aren't just getting ONE Skekgra short story, but a longer story spread out between multiple issues!

In an Instagram post by BOOM! studios, they revealed the short stories that will appear in Issue 1.

And as you can see, we got a Dark Crystal story titled 'The Wanderer' (obviously referring to Urgoh) that will be written by Seanan Mcquire and illustrated by Countandra. I assumed that was the Skekgra story.

BUT! The website League of Comic Geeks (as well as a few other websites) put this as the description of Issue 2.

At first, I thought this might've been a mistake, and maybe this description was actually meant for Issue 1 and the website just added it to Issue 2 by mistake.

BUT THEN! This website (https://majorspoilers.com/2024/12/21/boom-studios-for-march-2025/) released the synposis for Issue 3!

The fact that the description actually says 'CONTINUE' confirms that this will be a multi-part story!

This is great news because, although I tend to be as optimistic as possible about this kinda stuff, I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be able to satisfyingly cover Skekgra's backstory in a short story. But now that we have a longer story confirmed, I believe that this comic will do our boys justice!

(Also multiple releases helps to keep the fandom alive for longer.)

The first 'chapter' will probably focus on Urgoh's perspective before he met Skekgra, since its titled 'The Wanderer'.

Although I had my doubts about Issue 2 since it doesn't directly mention Skekgra in its description, cuz its in-between Issue 1 and 3 and is written by the same writer, I'd say it probably does follow on from The Wanderer. And may focus on the other skeksis as well as Skekgra.

Since Issue 3's description refers to Skekgra as 'The Heretic' I wonder if this is the chapter where he gets banished? Or just shown signs of heresy? Or maybe that's just what his character is more commonly known as in the fandom.

We don't have any information regarding the fourth issue, but I think it's likely this issue will contain the finale to the Skekgra arc since its the final issue.

Anyway, I am horrifically excited for this and I will keep you guys updated!

Okay, I've Read Worm: A Retrospective Part 1: How The Fuck Did I Get Here?

I don't know exactly what I'm going to be doing with all these posts, but at a minimum, we will be having the following, not necessarily in this order:

A discussion of some of the parts of Worm I liked most. Some genuine and well-earned praise for Wildbow.

An analysis of Amy Dallon as she exists in Worm, though more for unpacking my own thoughts in one place rather than some deep literary stuff.

A discussion of things I was genuinely surprised by in the Text itself versus the stuff I picked up via fandom osmosis and fanfic. Expectation vs reality and stuff.

A discussion of just who the fuck the target audience of Worm actually probably maybe was, and what the fuck I just read.

And a detailed (for my own unpacking of thoughts than to convince anyone of anything) discussion of why I'm not going to read Ward. Nothing new there, but still, it'll be nice to put it all one one place.

But first, let's take a step back and answer one very important question: How in the bloody fuck did I end up here? How the fuck did reading Worm even happen? Because as I've said before, superhero media isn't my thing, I'm definitely not the target audience for Worm, and while I enjoyed it, only liking it 60% is a barely passing grade, as it were.

So how the blue hell did I end up here?

I don't know exactly when I first became aware of Worm. What I do know is that I was loosely aware of it by 2019, because I was active on SpaceBattles, and of course, Worm is all over there. I'd see the name, and I knew it referred to a work of fiction, but that's about all I knew. It might have been before 2019 that I first heard the name, it might not have. I say by 2019, because I know that sometime in 2019, I was in a discord server associated with one of the many spinoff sites to Spacebattles (I believe it was Frozen in Carbonite, which was honestly a pretty noxious website but I didn't know that going in) and I made a post using this meme:

And I got an answer that was something to the effect of 'It's an edgy villain protagonist superhero story'. And so I shrugged, and I moved on. Not my speed. Superheroes aren't my thing, not really, not in of themselves. I first got into AoS watching it with my then GF back in... 2015? And then I got into shipping Skyeward in it. Then I watched Arrow because some of the people I followed from Skyeward were into it and again, pretty much stayed for the shipping and certain characters. Flash and Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl were entered into as branching off from Arrow.

And yes I've watched a good chunk of the MCU, but mostly because why not watch a movie and there's a handful of characters I liked. But I've never read a single superhero comic book, as far as I can recall, and I've never really been super into any superhero cartoons, just watched them if they happened to be on Cartoon Network when I was a kid.

At some point between then and this year, I found a Worm CYOA on r/nsfwcyoa, and despite never having read it, gave it a look, played around with it, and picked up random errant facts about the story and characters therein. I would revisit this CYOA and similar ones as they got updates, and along the way got my first exposure to the whole 'fanon' problem of the Worm fandom, when one of the options in one of the CYOAs was to make certain popular fanon true for the version of Earth-Bet 'your character' appeared in for the CYOA. Things like making Woobie Amy true, or turning Vicky into the Collateral Damage Barbie she's cast as by some people, et cetera.

And then, at some point probably late last year or early this year, I think, I was on Questionable Questing (the pervert uncle of Spacebattles, as it were) and I saw a fic get posted that was Worm - so, prepared to ignore it - and then I saw it was also tagged with several of my kinks. And I've read smutfics that aren't for one of my fandoms if I really like the kinks and it's just a smutfic, so I gave it a show. How much do you need to know about the source canon for a smutfic, eh?

I don't remember much about that fic, or even which of my kinks in particular it had, but I would read a few other such stories here and there until sometime in... probably May or so, maybe late April, when I made an errant post on QQ in a thread discussing stories you considered but never actually read, that I had considered Worm (because by then I had, ish, after some of the various go-arounds with the CYOA and picking up bits of osmosis here and there) but that the whole thing sounded too bleak and grimdark and depressing.

This spawned a conversation about Worm, and if it was really grimdark (one person I think went so far as to say it wasn't even depressing or bleak, and oh to live in that person's world) and if it was really a deconstruction or a love letter to superhero media or a takedown of superhero media or w/e. And at some point, someone made a comment about Wildbow having disdain for his fans, or something like that.

And I was like 'I feel like there's a story there'. And yes there was. One of the things that came up were the so-called 'retcons' of Ward re: Amy (whether or not they are actually retcons is beyond the point of this post, please don't discuss it here). And here's the thing, my thought then was: I've been there.

I've been there when characters have been set on, or are seemingly being set up for, some kind of redemption arc, and then some new installment pulls the rug out from under the character in a way that feels very, very deliberately aimed at fans of the character. Grant Ward is the most notable case of this for me. 2015 and 2016 me had quite a few things to say about that. 2024 me lacks the energy or desire to go into detail.

It's not fun, either way. So I sympathized. And I figured that probably meant Amy Dallon would be my sort of character. But I didn't want to read Worm - it sounded depressing, it was 1.6 million words, Taylor didn't sound super appealing and I knew she was the main POV, and superheroes aren't my thing.

But it wouldn't leave my head. So I started poking around on places like r/parahumans (a den of bad takes and noxious fans if there ever was one) and r/WormFanfic and the Parahumans wiki and looked through a few threads on SB and started trawling the Amy Dallon tag here on Tumblr and developed some thoughts.

Amy Dallon, and the injustice of what happened to her in Ward had crawled inside my head and it wasn't going anywhere. I ranted to my friends about all the shit I'd learned and was like 'I HAVEN'T EVEN READ THIS WORK AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I WANT TO AND IT JUST WON'T LEAVE MY BRAIN!'. I remember seeing a post saying something about how someone who had read worm couldn't relate to people who hadn't and weren't constantly thinking about Amy and I reblogged it saying 'I haven't even read Worm and I'm constantly thinking about Amy' and I think the OP of the post reblogged my reblog and called me a whole new kind of person or something. I don't remember and don't care to go digging.

The things that held me back the most continued to be the sheer length of Worm, a fear that Taylor would be insufferable and the fact that it still sounded godforsakenly depressing. (2 out of 3 ain't bad, as Meatloaf Says). So eventually I decided to go poking around and read some fic to get the idea if I'd actually read it. I don't remember all the ones I read in this period, but they included: I, Panacea, Desperate Times Call For Desperate Pleasures, Queen of Blood and More Than Meets The Eye. It was around this time I also started getting multiple Worm Fic Ideas, which was... fun. Because you know, it's one thing to read fanfic without knowing the source canon, but I've always loathed in previous fandoms when people say they're writing a fic for a canon they've only read fic from (and was always an immediate X-out for me) and I have too much dignity self-respect as a writer to do that myself.

Now, fic ideas don't mean I have to write them. I have ASOIAF and TVD fic Ideas I'm never going to write, and my notebooks across the ages are littered with fic Ideas I had and then put aside and never wrote. Some still haunt my dreams like Edgar Allen Poe's Telltale Heart. But still.

Eventually, after someone made a comment to me to the effect of 'with all due respect, if you haven't read Worm, shut up about it' I decided to at least make an effort to read it. Spite was my original intent - I wanted to see if my opinion about Amy's storyline in Worm specifically would remain the same (and it broadly has) and if so, I would feel satisfied I'd been right.

(For the record, It did remain the same (pretty much, more on this in a future post) and I do feel satisfied that I was right.)

And so, on June 16th, half on a whim and half because I knew I'd have things to say and I wanted to section them off my main blog, I made this blog and began reading Gestation 1.1. I gave it even odds in my head I'd give up before I was more than a few arcs in.

Wasn't even tempted until Arcs 12 and 13. Then was tempted again in the absolute nadir of the work, 17-19. And then again during the Behemoth fight. Once I got past that, I was never temped.

So that's I got here. Existing adjacent to Worm for years, some osmosis, an ill-timed comment, some snarky responses and a character that burrows into my brain by hitting all of my buttons.

Notes:

The different 'parts' will not be different chapters, but different fics entirely. There is so much stuff shoved into each individual part that if I put them all into one singular Ao3 fic it would be like 100 chapters. Sorry if thats annoying, I enjoy my organization. Each part for the most part should be able to be enjoyed separately, however they do all connect together like a big bad spiderweb.. or i guess a cork board with a shit load of red string.

Majority generally just means it'll be mainly part of their POV however in certain chapters it may change for story reasons.

This is a rewrite/AU, its not going to be accurate to canon however I try to be. Most if not all main canonical events will likely happen in some capacity within the AU, generally it may be tweaked as some aspects of the story I do not like/I've changed to have a deeper impact.

What is the AU even about??

Thought I'd properly go into it.

ONE MORE NIGHT is a Five Night's at Freddy's AU/Rewrite, that generally follows the main events and story of the original GAMES franchise, with some very minor inspirations from the books. The story will be written in third-person, and will occasionally swap point of views (in-between chapters) throughout the fic.

The story itself is more character and relationship focused. Themes i wish to explore include, the destruction of the mind/spiralling, (the stages of) grief, revenge , etc. Since generally, i dont really enjoy the fanon characterization of certain characters, I really want to explore them from my point of view, as well as develop the relationships and motivations of all the characters which I feel are sort of lacking in the main FNAF media? I'm aware its there, its never truly properly explored though.

I really like horror, and this is my first proper opportunity to get a crack at it. I highly doubt its going to be shiver me timbers terrifying, I try my best. If you want a reference for the type of horror I'm into and what I am inspired by, its mainly media such as, The Magnus Archives, as well as a few more gothic works such as Frankenstein (currently reading the book).

Content Warnings:

This story will likely include pretty graphic depictions of violence, ESPECIALLY when in referral to Micheal Afton, Jeremy Fitzgerald and William Afton, you'll never guess why. I will tag these chapters, and if needed, will provide a brief summery at the end if a person is to skip past it but doesnt want to miss what happened. Generally, i will try to avoid describing the children too graphically, since theyre, yknow, kids. But uh, yknow, its FNAF, so be warned.

Other general warnings, outside of the warnings I'll give on individual chapters include, Abusive relationships, (mild) suicidal thoughts, and sensitive topics such as grief and loss. I'm sure theres stuff I'm missing, these will be tagged in specific chapters.

(Side note: For the record, when i say 'relationships' this mainly refering to platonic relationships within the story. Theres a very minor romance side plot which you can like, easily choose to ignore, but its there, and its horrifically slow slowburn, so its like barely there 90% of the time. If i was to do anything too romance based, it would probably be separate one shots.)

(side note note: if you.. read this far.. once i finally finish this.. my magnum opus... i will probably finally move on to security breach and all that, if youre interested. but to get to that you have to get past my 5 evil fnaf fics first.)

So I've gotten moved down with my parents as I said I'd be. Thankfully, my partner and I can lend hands where hands are needed. Right now, my hands are going toward drawing whatever I can for those that are interested. Due to the nature of what's been found, I thought it would be meaningful if I were to offer flower portraits of your characters should you be interested and donate to help my parents achieve what they require to get their respective surgeries.

My dad has a mass on his kidney, and the ultrasounds show this tumor as looking kind of like a flower. So in that vein, that's why I'm choosing to do flower busts as the primary thing I'm offering. That said, I am also still willing to do Discord emotes and stickers, and as a more left field thing, do clean, neutral lighting GPose reference sheets for those that may want them. More information can be found below the read more / show all.

There is a lot of information regarding everything affecting my dad and my stepmother available on my family's GoFundMe page found here. My family supported me and fought for me when I was fighting Leukemia, the least I can do is fight as much for their sake, too.

I also understand any apprehension of donating through GoFundMe because they take a percentage of the funds raised. If you feel so inclined, you can donate directly to my dad through his PayPal, or directly to me through my Ko-Fi page.

Before commissioning me, please understand: I have no slots this time around for my work because I'd like to raise as much as I can for my parents; I don't know how bogged down with commissions I'll be. If you are interested in having a character reference sheet, please know that I will need either a .chara or a .mcdf file. A .chara is just a vanilla file with no mods and should be able to be saved through Anamnesis, and a .mcdf is if you mod your characters and can export your Mare Synchronos file. When you have any of these files, please put them in a Google Drive folder and send them to me!

I will not be meeting with people in-game as an option, unfortunately, because I do have my own reference studios set up in the houses that I use for them when necessary. My schedule is also all over the place to comfortably set anything up.

By the way, PB released the promo for this card shortly after updating the game, and I will say I like the ultimate on the card as it appears to kill multiple enemies by hanging them. Also, the booty shaking in his adore mode has me wanting to edit it with various songs LMAO I posted the money shot here because we get a bit of ballsack/gooch action

Now I'm not gonna lie I was really wondering how Levi would react being a maid after the entire event and it seems to mirror how Luci was acting in his card on how he felt as a butler.

To keep it short, Levi pretty much wants to fulfil his maid role to the fullest because he enjoyed wearing the outfit so much and craved wanting to serve a 'master' that's worthy of his service.

That means kidnapping MC (lol what's his damn deal with that), threatening them to accept being his Master, and then we finally get to the good part of the prologue where MC gets the game and starts being mean to him like how he wants. So how did we get here?

MC said they'd seen enough and I was like, yup you can pretty much tell where this is going from the few pages alone. What really gets me is that Levi truly thought this is what a maid was meant to do and I find it hilarious that in his big brain he thought this was the proper way to do it. Idk it's just really funny to me yet he probably wouldn't find my belittling of his common sense amusing

So that's the prologue and I'm like well I think I can put two and two together and figure out how Levi's card is gonna go. Clearly it's going to be MC humiliating the fuck out of him which I mean cool, that's his thing anyway as seen from his past cards (excluding Attacker and Bloodshed) but there doesn't seem to be much of a build up or anything like it was with Luci's Butler card.

This also has me wondering if the other King's cards are going to be in the same format at Levi's where they just sort of roleplay randomly. If so, I'd rather them just keep it at Lucifer and Levi for these cards and give the other Kings something else. I also figure that Belphie nor Asmo would get butler cards because Belphie doesn't do jack shit in the first place unless this is finally a card where he does play into the role, and with Asmo uh....it would probably just be mindless sex from start to finish.

ANYWAYS if I do happen to see the rest of Levi's card, I'll post about it ofc. But for now...this is it lol
