ohh the little beauty mark on adams neck. how many times does lawrence sit there and stare at it, just wishing he was a braver man, a man who isn't scared to death of this tiny little mark that has his hands itching with the urge to reach out and touch, the urge to know what it feels like, what all of adam feels like ..

lawrence sitting on adams slightly sunken couch, sipping at a drink as the other man waves his hands around to tell a story in typical adam fashion .. lawrences own eyes focused on the way the stretched neck of adams t shirt puts the little mark in full view, free hand clenching at his side as the urge to touch builds

and then he does

in a moment of slightly drunken bravery, a need to see what will happen, a need to ruin this thing between them, lawrence reaches a hand out and runs a finger across it. so light it makes adam shiver

but the world doesn't end

and adam just looks back at him, confusion and alcohol softening his expression as he grins at lawrence through half lidded eyes. eyes that flick briefly to lawrences mouth before looking back up

and the world still doesn’t end, not when adam leans in, not when lawrence brings a hand up to his neck, thumb rubbing just below the mark. the world keeps turning and lawrence now knows what that little patch of skin feels like beneath his fingertips
