#i do find it interesting#i used to avoid a lot of political discussion i kept to fandom rants but now i do respond sometimes not even generally to disagree#though sometimes - its because ive gotten a bit radical and a bit crazed and i get the sense that people are very self righteous#i have some polite discussion maybe fifty percent of the time which is nice but the other fifty percent#people are so completely convinced of their own ideas they will not tolerate anything that even slightly diverges rememebr#i am not deliberately antagonising people#although i guess diagreement to a lot of people IS being antagonised#anyway.#i know i shouldnt genuinely discuss anything on the internet but because of aforementioned crazedness i do anyway and im just amazed#just so amazed#i thought i myself was uncomfortable with alternate viewpoints and lack of consensus but to people on the internet it is in fact a righteous#quest to never be met with those kinds of despicables again#anyway#my stuff#personal
