BUT might I add that they do a really good job in my opinion of. Skirting the very fine line.

For example, re Aymeric and (idk if I saw this in another post or like in the tags on this post) but Thancred literally saying “I think it’s love” when referring to how excited Aymeric gets to ask WoL to participate in the Grand Melee, it’s super fun bc here’s just a few interpretations you can come up with depending on your own fun little headcannons:

Aymeric has a crush on WoL and Thancred sees it, is making fun of the WoL and/or wing manning for the WoL

Thancred has a crush on WoL and is jealous (variations still if you think Aymeric actually has a crush or Thancred is just projecting)

Thancred has a crush on Aymeric and is jealous of the WoL (saw someone say this on a bi-thancred hc post…. Amazing)

Aymeric is a little socially awkward and doesn’t know how to turn off the charm, and is just genuinely shocked and kind of excited to be borrowing you for what’s a sure-win at the Melee, and Thancred‘s making fun of him for it

Secret fifth option: ur a little crazy and have this conspiracy theory that the WoL is secretly a primal and accidentally enthralls like most people they meet LOL… (y’all I haven’t finished the game idk exactly how crazy this is or not but… let me live in my crazy theories)

Anyway in conclusion it’s so fun bc it’s specific enough to each character that there’s actually fodder there and so that not every character is just a milquetoast “likes you because you’re on their side” or “dislikes you because you’re not on their side” BUT still allowing plenty of room for more specific interpretations.

Yoshi-P: we keep the npc interactions ambiguous so the player can interpret their relationships themselves

Haurchefant: asks you to smile with his dying breath

Aymeric: has dinner with you at his house

Y'shtola: insinuates that she wants to spank/dom you

Estinien: wears leather pants and an unbuttoned shirt to visit you in the middle of the night

G'raha: literally everything he says/does

Emet Selch: spends 13,000 years committing heinous atrocities to force the scattered pieces of your soul back together so he can be with you (and your other boyfriend Hythlodaeus)

azul just struggling during beans day and running around trying to keep up with jack despite the constant threat of flatlining is somewhat, funny sick 😂 the imagery of just, azul looking ragged, panting and wheezing as he tries to break into a sprint, feet dragging and looking like he's about to trip and eat shit at any moment.

jade just carries an aed everywhere with him just in case azul's heart starts going funny...

but also it somewhat, makes me feel bad... if azul's cardiovascular system is that trash he should really follow a modified pe programme... vargas pls... 😔

that being said, i personally would imagine that he will be careful not to push himself too much? since you'd think he'd be able to feel when his heart is about to fail (feeling faint, shortness of breath, etc..)

i'm not fish enlightened so i'm not sure how an octopus would recover from their heart stopping (maybe it just, kickstarts by itself if the octopus ceases activity? i'm not sure... maybe the branchial hearts eventually revives the systemic/main heart? aye...)

though supposedly an octopus can have its main heart stop for over an hour without any negative side effects...

it's sort of, eerie. to imagine azul in pe class or just, going through a busy day. and everything is fine at first glance, but when you take a closer look, you realise he's almost not breathing. and he wouldn't have a pulse...

on another note, in people, your heart stopping completely (flatline aka an asystole) isn't exactly, a situation you would want to be in.

iirc an aed (or defibrillators in hospitals) doesn't shock a stopped heart back to life, in fact it's the opposite: it stops the (irregularly beating) heart so that you can reset it to a normal rhythm. so it's used during cardiac arrest caused by the heart beating out of rhythm/erratically (not stopped completely), like too fast or too slow (among others).

an asystole is generally irreversible in people... so unfortunately jade zapping azul would do little to help...

speaking of jade, i find it fascinating that (some) moray eels have glass (-like) teeth. morays have got to be some of my favourite sea creatures, they're just so goofy looking with their mouth constantly open like :V

if you ask him he will flat out deny you the first time around because he is embarrassed, but keep trying!! after a few attempts he’s gonna claim to be annoyed but it’s actually because he wants to

His eyes narrowed as they look to Y/N, “if you say French kissing, I swear I will break up with you right now.”

A grin finds its way onto Y/N’s face and they nod slowly, “great.”

honestly i feel like he would lowkey be bad at it the first time around and bakugou is the type of person where if he tries something and isn’t good at it immediately he either avoids this activity entirely or tirelessly works to improve his skill

luckily for you this happens to be a skill that bakugou wants to improve, alot because for some reason you wanted to try this and if he’s not good at it then whats the point

regardless the first time around is like a solid 6.75/10 sorry bakugou oops, you tried, but i feel like he’s already a really like aggressive and like harsh kisser so this is just gonna make things a mess

which is when when y’all finally french kiss he is going to be good at it okay, he’ll learn every strategy possible and then he will be a PRO like you’re probably going to be shocked for a hot minute because wait when did he have the time to get good at this—

you’re definitely his first partner and he had no experience prior to you but he trained himself because going into any anything blind and without a plan places him in a state of distress

Oddly enough, Y/N found his meticulous planning of this to just make the situation more awkward, it had done nothing to relieve the burning sensation in their cheeks. It had also been their idea in the first place so, there was that factor too.

“FINE. I—I’m fine, I mean.” He cleared his throat as he sat across from them, his cheeks a bright red color as Y/N tilted their head at his antics.

A small laugh escaped them, “If you don’t want to do this Izuku, we don’t have to.” He’d always been easily flustered, so Y/N couldn’t say his reaction came as a shock, but he’d agreed to it nonetheless just yesterday.

This seemed to bring the boy back to reality as he shook his head, “no... I want to.” He straightened in his seat, looking away from Y/N as he tried to collect himself.

A grin spread across Y/N’s face as they leaned closer to Izuku, “fantastic.” Their words only served to fluster Izuku further, though Y/N could feel their cheeks warming as well.

shouto is also fluent in kissing he honestly just really enjoys kissing you, he doesn’t know why but its probably because hes touch starved and just likes intimacy like that but he never really knew how much he liked physical touch until he actually experience it [in a positive way] and also you are SOFT :D
