those newsona mc name polls i did are beary interesting to me cuz i,,, don't really see the results for the p3 mcs' polls reflected in the fandom? i see minato used way more than makoto or sakuya. femc's names are more equal but i do think i see minako used slightly more.

but according to those polls it seems to be the complete opposite.

admittedly i assume that the bias towards minato and minako being used is because makoto is a pretty recent canon name (the first p3 movie came out in 2013, seven years after p3's initial release) and i'd imagine the headcanon of the p3 mcs being twins makes people more likely to use a name that matches makoto's for kotone.

also shoutout to just how close the p5 mc poll ended up.
