I think the most surprising thing about svsss is that it seems like it might pass the bechdel test
#svsss liveblog#this is unexpected! im pleased!#i guess since the original novel was supposed to be a harem novel that means there are a lot of female characters#which means now that the harem is Not happening theyre free to talk about things that aren't the male lead#shoutout to sha hualing for being part of most of these conversations#i NEED her to have toxic yuri with liu mingyan#though i think my favorite female character so far is ning yingying#i like that her original character was supposed to just be the sweet little shimei love interest that gets in trouble a lot#and now that the story has been changed she gets to actually develop into a well rounded character#she's strong willed and brave and i love her
