The journey of masculine series rapidly attracting female and queer audiences and having a lot of queer moments in itself with a staff that sometimes says something very bold really gets me thinking too much
Is RGG aware of the queer audience they’ve accumulated?
SEGA and RGGS are some of the only established video game companies out there right now (certainly some of the only established Japanese video game companies) to actively voice support for the LGBT community, so I expect they are.
That said, I do feel like queer fans are typically conflated with female fans in terms of who RGGS believe they're catering to with certain characters and decisions. But, y'know, it's something!
