Dude, I loooove birthdays!

Usually, I offer to take people into the city on their birthday. I'm kinda... bad with gifts, to be honest. My brain just doesn't work that way, I guess.

That's alright, though! Cus whenever we're out they're bound to sneak a peek at something they like. Like a cool shirt in a store window or something.

Then I offer to buy it for them! I pay for lunch on top of that, too. And maybe we'll catch a movie! Mission success.

physical touch, 100%. he's so touchy and clingy, but he'll try to front like he's not. but he is. everyone can tell that he is.

the kind he likes to receive — that he'll say if you asked him — is also physical touch. but deep down, he also really likes words of affirmation and acts of service. he won't say so, but he wants to be doted on, too — at least just once.

🏀 - does your oc f/o stay active? do they like working out or playing sports? if so, what kind of exercise do they like to do?

sighs very loud. he plays basketball, but he's not good at it. it's literally just to look cool. he does work out, though — mostly just so he can take post-work out pictures, but also to stay in shape, too. but mainly the former. he's insufferable (loving)

🧸- what is your oc f/os sleeping habits? do they like to cuddle? do they sprawl out on the bed? do they kick the blankets off in the middle of the night?

he's the type of guy who sleeps on his stomach and sprawls out in every direction and takes up the entire bed. one arm is dangling off the side, the other is stuck underneath his pillows. absolutely tangled in the blankets. the whole nine yards. but! that's only when he's sleeping by himself — when he's with kaia, he's SO clingy. always has her wrapped up in his arms as close as he can. physically can't sleep unless he's holding her. it's very cute <3

he's a leo! august 11 is his birthday :]

he definitely follows the stereotypical traits of one, too, lmao. he loves being in the spotlight and can be a little vain at times — you kind of have to be to become a microinfluencer by just being attractive — but there's also a hint of insecurity underneath it. and you'd never guess it, but he's incredibly loyal and dedicated — he just has to get over his other hangups, first.

🔮 - does your f/o have any talents? bonus points if it's something more niche/uncommon!

god. he can tie a knot in a cherry stem with his tongue. aside from that, his real talent — the one he's legitimately proud of, even if he keeps it to himself — is that he has the entire first kingdom hearts game memorized front to back.

☁️: A soft headcanon

One of Hiro's favorite things to indulge in, is listening to his partners read to him. He's always struggled with it himself--he can read, but he's not very quick at it, and it leads to a lot of irritation on his part. But hearing someone else read to him is so relaxing, and there's something about lying in bed--legs still tangled with his partner's, head on their chest that he can't get enough of. He doesn't get a lot of peaceful moments, so they're something he values when he does get them

Hiro's top love languages (both giving and receiving) are acts of service and physical touch. He doesn't always know what to say in a situation, especially with someone he's really close to, but he finds it easy to show affection through actions or touch instead--something as simple as picking up takeout for them when he knows they've been busy, or offering a massage to his partner--or slipping a hand into theirs, or curled up next to them. Even with platonic relationships, he's always trying to remember things they like--and might surprise them with coffee, or invite them for a night out with a couple drinks if they seems like they need it--things to show he does care.

Even though it's something he can be awkward giving, and doesn't necessarily know how to recieve, words of affirmation have a huge impact on him. He's not used to them, and it's one of the few ways to see him genuinely caught off-guard. He enjoys them, even craves them a little, but he doesn't always know how to, or even if he should be asking for them.

💧: Random angst headcanon (under cut)

It's hard to tell because it's been tattooed over, and it's fairly well-hidden, but if you were to feel along the inside of Hiro's thigh, he has a poorly healed brand there. It's about the size of a silver dollar, features a delicate band with a small tiger head inside it. It's something he hates, and one of the few parts of his body he's legitimately unhappy with. Good luck getting him to admit that, though.
