I don’t know if I really ship him with anyone else romantically anymore tbqh, I used to love him with Rouge too because their bond is just incredible and she puts up with so much bs for him and he’s so protective of her and I cannot get enough of them together except these days I’m having more and more trouble seeing it as anything other than a platonic soulmates kind of deal team dark is just really gay ok

I really like Silver too though and the short but significant moment they shared in 06 (no im not talking about the roundhouse kick im talking about them putting their differences aside immediately after fighting to look for the truth behind the whole thing and pursue their respective enemy together), definitely something I can’t just gloss over and wouldn’t mind expanding on given the right opportunity. Same goes for Amy, while I don’t personally see why that ship is so popular given the one scene they had together was so badly written and wasted potential (imo), it was still a symbolic moment that proved there was potential for chemistry. I guess something with Infinite could be interesting too to a degree though tbh I’m not super fond of Infinite as a character/villain so that door is likely gonna stay closed unless someone who writes him can change my mind about that
