10 thing you didn’t know about them

Since my inbox was empty today, I used the free time to be a bit silly.

Lupin:

1)      has to wear glasses for reading, he absolutely hates to wear those, but admits he can see more clearly. Everyone who has seen him with them has only one thing to say: sexy.

2)      Wears the same brand and colour of his boxershorts everyday, but still has a favourite pair that he uses only on special occasions. Those are his “lucky pants”.

3)      Hates electronic razors. The sound makes him want to scream and run away.

4)      Sleeps with a stuffed teddy bear or hugging a pillow. He doesn’t know where this comes from, he just does since he was a kid.

5)      The sign he really loves a person is when he sleeps next to them. Fucking is one thing (and he loves it), but after that he’s only half-asleep. Only when he trusts someone completely, he falls into a deeper slumber.

6)      can ride on an electronic bull extremely good and regularly breaks records on these things

7)      has a only 11 pairs of ribs instead of 12

8)      his right hand ring finger was broken once without being fixed properly and to this day is still slightly crooked

9)      is scared of flamingos.

10)   Still has to sing the ABC to know if R comes before Q

7)      he can walk on his hands/in a handstand for quite a long way

1)      is an anonymous poet for several Japanese magazines

2)      can cook a mean chilli

3)      can distinguish between a wide range of wines

4)      is ambidextrous

5)      when he was young he had a pet rat he took everywhere with him. He still has a knack for taming wild mice and rats

6)      dislikes cows

7)      his favourite non-japanese food is coconut

8)      has a severe allergy to some ointments and will get rashes

9)      has an extremely deep understanding of chemistry and could outdo Lupin

10)   hates to read but really likes to listen to audio books

  Fujiko

1)      is cross-eyed but you can only see it if she is completely relaxed

2)      will never admit it but loves embroidery

3)      can skate on ice but hardly on asphalt, hurt herself a lot when roller-skating was cool in her youth

4)      in her free time she loves to eat “real” food. You can often see her with a greasy hamburger or a huge steak.

5)      She can’t gain weight. While a dream to a lot of women, whenever she loses weight when she’s sick, it’s actually hard for her to gain it. And the hardest: the first place she loses it are her breasts and not her waist

6)      Hates romantic movies, because she thinks they’re far from reality

7)      Buys her cosmetic products from cheap stores and puts them in empty bottles of very expensive brands

8)      A big fan of The Simpsons

9)      Broke her ankle once wearing sandals, but never stumbled once with high-heels

10)   Collects pigs. Everything related to them but loves little figures the most

1)      on his days off he likes to pamper himself with a beer, a relaxing bath and good food. He may even wear a facial mask if his skin worsens

2)      has a tattoo actually. It’s a small bulldog with a police hat on his left hip, as a dare from his youth

3)      is lactose-intolerant on a quite high level but loves cheese. Sometimes he just has to eat some tasty cheese and he suffers terribly (visits to Switzerland are the worst because he also has to cut the chocolate out)

4)      bad at math but a genius in art. He’s a skilled artist and likes to paint in his free time

5)      was a bad student and even had some criminal episodes before he went to the police. Smokes since then, tried weed twice with friends but stayed with tobacco.

6)      Is allergic to cats but has to scratch every cat he meets behind the ears

7)      Is a black belt in several martial arts

8)      Can’t do anything related to craftsmanship. Give him an easy to assemble IKEA shelf and he will hurt himself and give up after 4 hours of frustration

9)      Can sing pretty good if he decides to sing when he’s sober. Drunk he’s terrible.

10)   Can fully operate without 96 hours of sleep, after that he’s a mess

I gush about SMRPG color keys for way too long

But aaaaaa I followed them on Devianart back in like 2012-2013ish when they were famous for their Seven Star Comics and found out that they did an entire set of color keys for the game and after going over the whole thing for like the 50th time I wanna gush about some of my favorite things sooo... below the cut!

First off, I know it’s color keys so obviously color is important, but... my word, Loopy has masterfully used colors in this entire piece. You can instantly tell the mood of each piece and... it’s just soooo pleasing to look at!

Mario is SO delightfully expressive and animated- I mean everyone is but right away you can tell just how expressive and animated Mario is which gives us an amazing first impression of him!!!

RIP Star Road(F) also wOW THE COLORS AND USE OF SUCH SHARP LINES TO CONVEY THE INTENSITY OF THE SCENE

So uh... about Castle Town...

I ADORE how the star piece is all “WOO YOU FOUND ME! IM IMPORTANT!” and Mario and Mallow are just “Ah yes... this thing... I totally know what it’s for... totally...”

I love this scene so much- the tears in their eyes as Mallow and Frogfucius clearly cared deeply about each other but have to let each other go since Mallow wants to find his real parents... my h e a r t

I love how even in the inn, you can see arrows raining down outside the window

i adore how Bowyer is constantly portrayed with a wide stance to make him more egotistical/imposing... also this shot is absolutely gorgeous and so dynamic I adore iiit

Link on the stairwell since he’s an in-game easter egg is a great touch... also Mario back at it again with the theatrics!

Geno’s shadow is a star... I didn’t know I needed this detail in my life but here we are...

I also love the idea that Mallow and Mario are morning birds while Geno is a night owl it’s so in-character

BACK AT IT WITH THE THEATRICS

I adore this panel so much- the home looks so cozy and warm and just- Mario introducing Luigi to everyone and Luigi like “Oh hi Peach hi Bowser I wasn’t expecting guests... and I guess I have 2 new friends now okay-”

This scene is just... so powerful- just, the warmth radiating off of them both as Ge consoles Mallow- and then lets Mal feel better by letting him find the Star Piece, just... Aaaa they’re such brothers I love them so much

I love how suspicious Geno is during these scenes and how Bowser seems to be catching onto that fact

I love how their characters just absolutely shine through here- Bowser getting wasted on 2 beers at once, Peach calmly sipping her martini, Mario already drunk from a martini, and Geno with his glass of water denying Mallow any alcohol asdfghjkl-

Okay all of the fake toads melting away and forming Yaridovich is TERRIFYING and I LOVE IT

This one is so beautiful that I actually have it as my background atm- I love this because we actually see a quiet and contemplative Bowser for once- a front he probably wouldnt let down in front of the others. I’d like to think that, since the stars are out and Exor is in the background, that they’re taking about how the heck they’re gonna get their homes back... Gosh it’s so beautiful

God, there’s just so much emotion in this one shot, I absolutely adore it- especially the subtle spotlight shining over both Geno and Mario like WOW- which is of course followed byyyyy-

FOUND FAMILY TROPE!!!!!!!!

GOD THE HEROES BEING REFLECTED IN THEIR FINAL GOAL IS SUCH A GREAT SHOT- I ALSO LOVES THE CRACKS IN THE PIECES FROM SMITHY TRYING TO BOLT IT TO HIMSELF AAA

This shot. THIS SHOT RIGHT HERE!!! GENO AND PEACH HOLDING ONTO EACH OTHER AND TRYING TO GET A HOLD ON MARIO IS GREAT ON ITS OWN, BUT... BOWSER PROTECTIVELY CURLING AROUND MALLOW... I CANT HANDLE IT HES SO PROTECTIVE OF THE SMOL

1- MALLOW ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! 2- We see Smithy literally melting between forms which also shows how unstable he is and is a GREAT SHOT

Geno’s goodbyes with everyone is so personal to his relationship with them and I adore it soooo much

Once again, the use of colors and added effect of the sunrise are SUCH nice touches i aaa!!!!!!

I believe this is implied to be Geno’s home- and honestly it’s soooo pure that he kept all this memorabilia from his adventure- like- especially the silly Koopa Troop pin, its just all so pure my heart cant handle-

Welp! This took me nearly 2 hours to type out but honestly it was so worth it!!! I adored these color keys so much, especially the added scenes that arent even in the game! The use of setting and colors is nothing short of masterful, and this made me SMRPG heart SO happy!!!
