you can remove the “would.” without it the sentence actually flows pretty well

okay that’s actually what I originally had but then i thought that “it become too difficult” doesn’t work and that it should be “it became too difficult” but that’s present tense and so then i logic-ed that “it would become too difficult” was better and then i just didn’t know anymore.

I feel your pain. I actually have trouble doing my research sometimes because I have to put electrodes on people’s heads (for EEGs) and sometimes the people are so tall (even sitting down) that I can’t see properly and a taller person has to do it.

Hi :) I want to use theme #6 because it's gorgeous, but I really need a two column theme and for some reason the two column option refuses to work with this theme (I tried viewing my blog in both firefox and chrome and both showed the blog with just one column when I had chosen the two-column option). when I choose two-column, the posts shrink a bit to accommodate two columns, but there's still just one. Can you fix this, or is it just a peculiarity with my blog?

it works for me, on my main blog? the thing might be that your pc screen is too small, have you tried zooming out love?

My problem is that I don’t want this to become overrun with Daredevil or anything else, because it is a Thor-centric blog.  But finding Thor posts that I haven’t already reblogged feels impossible sometimes, when I’ve been around the fandom for awhile, we haven’t had new material in awhile (at least not until we get the AOU deleted scenes, hopefully!) and meanwhile Daredevil had 13 entire episodes and is now filming and has exciting announcements coming up.... (I fear that the same thing will happen when the AKA Jessica Jones series hits. SORRY.  orz)

I wish I could put together a Thorki recs list!  ;__;  But I haven’t been reading much lately and I feel like all my recs are finally (mostly) posted, now that I’ve gotten my website updated.  (Also, I struggle with BUT I DON’T WANT TO OVERWHELM PEOPLE?  IF I DO THAT, THEY’LL JUST BLACKLIST THE TAG??? Yes!  So many pretty edits!  And it has more screentime focused on the characters!  And it’s only been two months!   So there’s all this material!  And new fic to read that I’m still really hungry for!  (UGH, FANDOM, START GIVING ME MORE FIC TO READ, I’M RUNNING LOW, I NEED SOME GOOD SHIPPING FIC ALREADY.  /complains)  But also... I don’t want to be a Daredevil-only blog.  Finding a balance is hard.  :/

it could be a monday thing. my dash has been super dead for a while though (I follow around 200 people so it's never *that* busy, but regardless it's been unusually slow today).

Yeah my dash has been dead for awhile too... I follow um quite alot of blogs... and I guess it used to be super busy... but now it’s mostly quiet... actually there are always things being reblogged but they are usually things I don’t have care for? Today however really no one is on? LOL perhaps for the Americans, it might be because of fourth of July coming up and they’re going on vacations?

Probably they are inactive... I followed a lot of art blogs... and they kind of get AFK after awhile... LOL I can’t really say much considering my first art blog is dead too-- and really? Mines opposite, my dash gets active around the time I go to sleep when European and Asians are active--

Aah, thank you! <33 I’d happily write them, too - angst is sooo much more fun than fluff. That is, angst dropped randomly into the last sentence is easier to write than a fluffy ending, at least for me.

I don’t think I breathed the entire last 10 minutes. I was lying on my bed because they got their second goal while I was there and I damn well am not going to ruin whatever works haha.

I tried to read the books but I didn't like GRRM's writing style at all. it makes me sad bc I know the books are probably hella better than the show.

Most of it I did by audio book, since my work allows headphone use so maybe that made it easier for me! I could do other things and listen at night while closing my eyes before bed and I grasped the story but wasn’t worried about wording so much that way. This was after I tried the first couple eps of the show and couldn’t get into it but I felt like I needed the books to make me watch

The books are better definitely, but I also sympathize with the show’s effort, and I enjoy it now. It’s literally impossible to cram all that info into something ready for tv, so I tend to think of them as different tellings of the same story, even when they’re similar for some scenes

Really? So I’m not the only one... IDK I know a lot of the people I do follow live in Europe or Asia but usually I see them quite a bit on my dash.... I also understand that sometimes life can take be overwhelming, etc. but it’s sooo dead today... it could be a Monday thing maybe?
