One thing I'm curious abt with the game is if it'll get a localisation. Given how relatively obscure the series is in the west part of me doubts it, but also they seem to be pushing it more in the west with the dub and crunchy finally bringing it back to regions outside the US, so who knows. Steam version at least means it'll probably be easier to mod in fan translations if they don't
But even if it does get localised, would it be subbed only? That'd probably be the cheapest, and is fairly common with more obscure games (a lot of otome games I've played were like that). But given they've made a dub would they be more inclined to dub the game as well? Would we have to listen to dub Tanuma in the video game or would they use a new cast? For anime adaptions of video games it tends to be 50/50 whether they cast the OG dub voice actors in the anime adaptions due to different industry connections/contracts/unions/whatever, but idk abt game adaptions of anime? Would they try to keep the same cast for constancy or just recast with whoever the localiser has available? Much to think abt
#one fear: we get a localisation but its only with the dub cast#tho realistically most games let you switch between japanese and english VAs anyway so we could just ignore it if they do lol#anyway glad they went with an adventure game/VN for it cause that makes the most sense for a natsuyuu game I think#and less cursed than a gacha#natsuyuu is like the one series where a game where you just walk around and talk to people is a perfect fit lol
