I kinda can't believe it? Writing is indeed good for my soul. Interacting with y'all on here has helped me with my mental and emotional wellness due to just finding such great community on here. Thank you for giving me the space to write and for following along/supporting in my writing journey 💖

Having a little fun with some internet history! Way back in the earliest days of setting up computer networks, one of the first virus-adjacent programs was created. It was called Creeper, and it would copy itself onto another networked machine with the message "I'm the Creeper! Catch me if you can!" People using that network got understandably cheesed off, so one of 'em developed one of the first anti-virus programs to try and curb it, calling that program Reaper. You can see where this is going XD

I'm sure I'm missing a lot of the details in that very truncated summary of things, but this image popped in my mind while watching a video talking about this whole thing and I couldn't resist. Obviously the people on that network would have no knowledge of Minecraft (and maybe not even Scooby-Doo, which is the only other pop culture Creeper I can think of) and we all know the actual origin of the Minecraft creeper at this point, so I'm guessing the shared name is one big coincidence to reference both entities' tendencies of creeping around. Still funny tho X3

...I think I'll keep this reaper character in storage for future use, if I ever need a reaper again. His name is now Jack :3

the reason i'm choosing to bring in a second campaign is that so far, thankfully, Hussam's campaign is getting a steady flow of donations and has doubled the amount of raised funds since my initial post; Ahmed's campaign currency is set to NOK, which means that, even tho people are still donating, the minimum amount of a donation is as little as 0.5 USD, so the progress has been very slow the campaign goal is 1,067,200 NOK, equivalent to 99,865 USD; so far, 2.0% have been covered, with 21,234 NOK raised (a bit under 2,000 USD) if you are interested, you are welcome to choose either of the two campaigns, and, with a minimum of 5 USD / 55 NOK, i will be happy to provide you with a reading of your choice !

hii this is my (@cryptcatz) aesthetic sideblog related to a book im writing and probably some general disability stuff. the whole main cast is physically disabled in some way, some also with mental illness, im writing it as a physically disabled + mentally ill person myself. they are all also alternative in some way— mostly punk but there’s variety. very inspired by Cripple Punk. feel free to ask me questions abt the characters and such! book is still in early development stages tho so not much info.

might be some writing shared here eventually, not sure if i will or not. also yes if i get that far i intend to make sure many disabled people will be sensitivity readers and i would never ever go through with this book without a lot feedback from people with conditions represented. i want this book to be for US, not ableds 💖

They wrote a test phrase into the input section and set the “Nat” slider to maximum output, and the playback sounded almost exactly like Nat if she were trying to imitate a robot. Every slider at maximum solo output followed suit. Cosmos grinned. Now that they knew how this thing worked, it was time to get creative. They fiddled around with every combination of slider settings, replaying their test phrase over and over again with every minor alteration. It honestly stopped sounding like real words after a while, more like an odd musical chorus. Add a little bit more Putunia. Could deal with some of Millie’s tone. Maybe keep Gerry to a minimum, they didn’t want their new voice to be too deep.

More 101 Smiles :D I figure that for funsies Cosmos would probably have a YouTube channel where they make astronomy vids for the average non-astronomer to enjoy, sharing both things that have been discovered before they got into the field and things they had a hand in finding out themself. Obviously being mute means they can't narrate, so they use a tts to give the vids a bit of extra oomph for hearing viewers (cuz even with subtitles available most people would prefer to not read a video if they don't need to hehe), and their fellow Habitat kids have worked together to get them a program to make a completely custom one! :D Gonna have a little fun playing around with that before putting it to work in any vids tho, hehe. ...Also have a Muffin loaf :3
