I have scars on both my knees, my left one looks like a purple blotch because there's two more scars there that are relatively new. I think the whole mess of scars looks like a weird moth shape. Women in my family, all above the age of 45, mind you, have advised me remedies, to make sure I don't have permanent scars. Because "as women, scars on our body just don't suit us. Iykwim" and now I can't stop staring at my scars.

I don't think you find yourself ugly unless someone tells you you are.
