The New York City retailers boarded up their storefront windows to protect them from the looters.  Over the weeks those plan wood boards evolved into the canvas for the artist to express their feelings and passions for the "Black Lives Matter" movement. Many times the greatest means to communicate a historical movement is through the arts. Throughout the city, there has been an effort for artists to show off the essence and passion of this present time of urgent change. .
