Everyone harps on how quickly kids grow up. And you know it, intellectually, but sometimes it takes your breath away. . Some nights my twins ask for “supervision” which essentially means I sit silently on their sofa making sure they aren’t horsing around when they are supposed to be going to sleep. Their quiet muttering (so long as it doesn’t turn crazy giggly coo-coo-town) is sweet and endearing. . Tuesday is my Monday, so I’m off on the business of life. .
