This extends to Lyft, Uber, Grubhub, Seamless, Instacart, Doordash, Eat Street and all the other pesudo-services based around a set and forget algorithmic fetishization that also enterprising young robber barons to pay fewer employees and invest less in their businesses so they can have more fuck off poor people money. I know they all have great marketing but my experience with all of them has been consistently awful and I don't hear people exactly loving working for them. Well I mean like the people who do the actual work. The people who can pretend like they're doing work while a badly designed system stagnates around them faster than Windows 10 [but what isn't, amiright?] they seem to love it.
