So You Know Ferguson Police Supporters Rally In Front of Headquarters The Post-Dispatch has provided a re-cap of the recent "pro-police" rally that was held in front of the Ferguson PD. This article problematically describes the Ferguson protestors as deviant (i.e. they curse, etc...) and the "pro-police" protestors as wholesome. In the past few weeks, the Post-Dispatch's coverage has taken a sharp turn to discredit protestors and this is just a continuation. Read to understand media bias. So You Know Ferguson Missouri Extends Restraining Order Against Unified Command Federal judge Carol Jackson has extended the temporary restraining order that requires Missouri laws enforcement officers to give crowds notice of the impending use of teargas, pepper spray and other chemical agents and provide time for people to disperse. The temporary order remains in effect until a settlement is reached or the judge decides whether the order should become permanent. Police Task Force to Have a 'Listening Session' in D.C. Next Week Tuesday of next week, President Obama's police task force will hold a public daylong public listening session in Washington D.C. The focus on the meeting is to build trust and legitimacy.
