Day 6: 3/1/16 Dale's Donuts. I had a chance to speak with a recently displaced individual today while I took this picture. Told me his story and gave me the blessing to share some of it on here: "I've been living in this neighborhood since 1972 and boy have I seen so many changes here. So much. Times passed and the economy got tough. Not too long that I got out of jail, and tried to fight it before that happened, but what is a public defender and prior gonna do me? You already know how it is. I'm out, I don't have much going on, but I sell movies. No matter what, presentation and a firm handshake go a long way in the hustle, regardless of what it is. Don't forget that. And we gotta show people how it is here, through our stories.
