YES this too...love the Norts just existing in what is otherwise a pretty normal world, doing pretty normal things, but also still carrying their odd exaggerated mannerisms into even the most mundane of tasks.

Though I could see Xemnas still happily taking up the mantle of Wanting to Atone if only for the drama of it all. Monologing about how he has Regrets and how much he underestimated the Power of Friendship...not understanding that atoning takes a little more effort than being sad and talking about it to the sky or whoever is unfortunate enough to be within earshot.

Started playing Disco Elysium with @thisisfoobar, what a goddamn great game 😆 I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud at a dialogue option or a reaction of the game at me doing something dumb, having a blast with the pathetic old man and his boyfriend

a) It’s both! They’re a visual flair to his personal ability Rondo of Roses, which charges up a meter when he attacks and when it’s full lets him cast a tornado of rose petals in front of him. The meter decreases when he gets hit, but what the game doesn’t tell you is that when that happens it also blocks the hit entirely, so it’s less ‘charge up to cast a rose petal tornado’ and more ‘charge up an infinitely regenerating perfect shield that you can accidentally get rid of if you hit the wrong button and cast a rose petal tornado’ :P

b) yeah as soon as you finish a mission, all enemies instantly despawn, the UI disappears and every control except movement is disabled so I just run in circles until the game is done giving me the Stage Complete prompt lol (incidentally, he’s running a lot faster than he'd normally be able to bc Yuri’s relic is currently giving him cavalry movement speed)
