Only cause I was talking about makeup the other day.. I want you to see the part of me that I hide. Many people hide behind different masks. Women can hide behind makeup.. I only put make up on occasionally and because it is fun for me to dress up. But some women don't feel beautiful enough without it.. Let's just remember there is a real person behind that mask. I just. Ever since I was diagnosed with PCOS, ive been hyper aware of my bodyshape and my ability to maintain it. Its not the fact that I cant have children without artificial techniques or chin hairs that bother me, its the fact that I couldnt look like society thinks I should. After losing 20kg, I felt incredibly empowered and in control. I beat PCOS in the ass. But now, with my injured shoulder going on over a year with no conclusive results as to what is causing it, I feel my control and strength slipping away. Ive gained 10kg. I cant even walk up a hill briskly without my shoulder hurting. I used to run 30km a week, now I cant run at all. I feel my self worth slipping away daily and I look at myself and I just feel disgusted. Some days are good, some days, the anxiety is too much to bear. I used to clip my birds wings for fear of losing them. My wings have been clipped. I am losing myself.
