post books u want to read next year. these are vaguely organized.

top row is vaguely horror ish bc i want to get more into horror. ha’penny is actually alternate history mystery but it IS anxiety inducing lmao so.

second row is scifi stuff. i haven’t read saga vol 9 yet so this is just me hoping i’ll get thru at least 2.

last row is just indigenous stuff, first one is much more local & i believe one of the books i found that mentioned my mom’s tribe, second is a romance that’s done p well & i’m kinda excited for it ngl i feel native writers have been so pigeonholed into sad memoirs or gritty Literature in recent years but lately you’ve seen a lot of natives in adult lit break into fun genres lol. the last island is obviously about the uncontacted peoples and it feels like every 18 months some dickhead tries to contact them & gets wasted & i felt like it was something i should Know About rather than just reading the wiki you know.
