Honestly disgusted to see many self proclaimed progressives and leftists going after Indigenous people who are against the Voice, not like conservative types like Jacinta Price or Warren Mundine, but like fellow leftists and especially Blak sovereignty activists.
Like, I'm even seeing people claim Aboriginal pages or Blak activists who dare to question whether the Voice is even actually a good thing and not just being done to give the impression of progress when at best it's gonna be powerless to do anything meaningful.
Regardless on what your stance on the Voice is (personally, I'm listening to pro-Blak sovereignty voices on it who think it's pointless feel good bullshit, but make up your own mind), understand it's not some binary debate of the good progressive Yes vs the evil reactionary No.
There are a variety of opinions from Aboriginal people on the Voice, and you should do your best to listen to them and figure things out for yourself. This debate is already super toxic, and it's not just from racist conservatives, many progressives are at least as guilty.
To hear alternative views that aren't being publicised a lot, a good place to start would be here. https://blaksovereignmovement.com/
