i’ve been reading so many damn good fluffy Tom fics lately I had to contribute so here’s a super cute fluffy fic where Tom and the fem!reader share their first kiss! it didnt end as i planned but still pretty darn cute!!! i hope you like it! @lovelyspidey @spiderboytotherescue

You were surprised as hell when your friend Tom showed up to give you a lift from work. “Tommy what are you doing here?” you asked, confused. He was suppose to work today so you didn’t expect him to see his pretty face.

“Well, since I got off work early, I thought I’d spend the day with my best friend.” he said with a big grin.

You blushed. “Sounds good to me.”

“Do I get a hug or do I have to steal one from you, love?”

His little pen names drove you crazy and his accent didn’t help. Friends call each other love right?

You practically jumped into his arms. He’s been rather busy lately promoting Far From Home so you were more enthusiastic than usual when you ever got to spend time with him. He smelled so good as you embraced, your head buried in his chest. He held you tight with his arms wrapped around you.

“Wanna go to the beach?” he asked.

“Heck yeah.” you said without a hitch.

“We can go to your place so you can get ready.” You missed the warmth from the embrace as he let go. You swore Tom was the definition of chivalry as he opened his car door for you. A wave of heat rushed up to your cheeks as you giggled. “You make me feel so fancy whenever you do that, Holland.” You slid into the passenger seat.

“What can I say? I have manners.”

You giggled again. Tom walked up to the front of the car, sliding over the hood and doing a flip. “Show off.” you shouted at him.

Tom laughed. The car roared to life and he drove you back to your apartment which wasn’t too far from work. “Want me to come in?”

“Of course, silly.”

The car alarm went off as the two of you headed up to your loft. Luckily you had nothing planned today after work so a beach day with Tom it was. “I have your favorite tea,” you told him as you went into the elevator, “You can make some while I get ready.”

Tom smiled. “Sounds good to me.”

He seemed rather quiet today, like something was on his mind. You wanted to ask him but you assumed if he wanted to tell you, he would have.

Tom immediately went into the kitchen as you got ready in your room. All he could think about was how he was going to ask you out. A million ideas swirled into his mind, almost giving him a headache so he was grateful or the tea you offered. You have been friends for what seemed like forever and he had to force himself not to kiss you or give you any signs of affection. He had no idea if you felt the same way. You were just friends. But hopefully not for long.

“What do you think?” you asked as you swirled into the living room. You wore a white knitted cover over your green olive swimsuit.

Tom’s eyes widened ever so slightly as he nearly choked on his tea. “Wow, you look great.”

You giggled, noticing his reaction that he failed to hide. “Tell me something I don’t know.”

The words, I love you, almost blurted from his mouth but he sipped more of his tea to keep his mouth shut. “Ready love?” he asked.

“Almost. Gotta put on the sunscreen. Remember what happened last time?”

“Don’t I ever.”

The one time you forgot sunscreen, you received a wicked sunburn. It was not fun.

“Can you help with me back?”

Tom blushed hard, clearing his throat. “Y-yeah. Sure.”

He couldn’t help but to watch as you applied the sunscreen. Good god, he was a mess.

“Tom?”

Your voice brought him back to reality as he blinked back into focus. “What are you staring at so hard for?”

“Sorry,” he chuckled. “I couldn’t remember if I put some on or not.” he lied.

You laughed. “You’re such a dork.” she said, tossing you the bottle.

Tom rolled his eyes as he squirted some of the sunscreen onto his palms, then rubbing it in a bit. “Okay turn,” You turned around, your back facing Tom. You shuddered when you felt his large hands rub the stuff on your back. Get your mind out of the gutter, woman, you scolded silently to yourself. Friends don’t think dirty thoughts about each other. He’s not your boyfriend.

Tom did his best to clear his mind but he was already hard underneath. He hoped you didn’t notice once he finished applying the sunscreen.

“Tommy, what’s up with you?” you asked, facing him again. “You’ve been so quiet.”

He gulped. Fuck. He was praying that this wouldn’t happen yet. At least not till the beach. “Nothing.”

“Tom, don’t lie. I know when you’re lying.”

Tom took a deep breath and exhaled as he lied his forearms on the kitchen counter, lowering his head. “I need to tell you something but...I’m scared to.”

“Tommy, what is it? You know you can tell me anything.” Your voice laced with concern.

He closed his eyes tightly. “I like you. Like a lot.”

You froze. Did he say what you thought you heard? “W-what?”

“I like you, Y/N.” He looked up this time, his cheeks flushed. “I was gonna tell you at the beach but...that obviously didn’t go as planned.”

You smiled. “Tommy…”

“I’m sorry, I can’t help it. I know you’re like my best friend, but I-” You interrupted him with a peck on the cheek, making him shut up instantly. He looked at you astounded.

“I like you, too, Tommy.”

“You do?”

You nodded, giggling. “You are so oblivious.”

“Hey.” he pouted.

Tom pulled you in for a hug as you laughed. “Is it weird that I think sunscreen smells good?” you wondered aloud.

He laughed this time, a sound you never get tired of. “Not at all. You’re perfect the way you are.”

You looked up at him, still embraced. Heat rushed to your face. You realized you were hugging your friend who you just confessed you had a crush on, dressed half naked in your two piece swimsuit.

“I really want to kiss you, right now.” Tom confessed, his face buried in the crook of your neck.

“I thought you were wanting to save that for the beach.” you teased.

“I can’t wait any longer.”

You blushed even harder at the thought of his lips against yours. You’ve imagined it many times but now this was actually happening. You were excited and terrified at the same time.

“Tommy?”

“Yes, love?”

“Does this mean we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now?”

“I sure hope so.”

You giggled loudly. “I would like that. I would like that more than anything.”

Tom looked up to admire you as he smiled. He tilted your head ever so slightly so he could lean down and kiss you. A tingling sensation washed over your body. His lips tasted like the tea he just drank-peach and honey; that combined with the smell of sunscreen. Not the scents you imagined associating with your first kiss. But it would be something you would never forget.

“Can we go to the beach now, Tommy?” you asked after you two finally stopped kissing. Felt like it lasted a lifetime.

“Of course, Love.” He took your hand into his, your fingers laced.
