heres some random info about my life as well as some of my favorite things

i am a libra sun, aquarius moon, capricorn rising

i like dark chocolate more than any other; i have since i first got my period. i like gummy candy and starbursts but my favorite are the little cola bottle candies. i like tea and coffee sweet, but flavorful. i like energy drinks and slushees and wanted my first tattoo to be a cola-mtn dew slushee but it wasnt. i like waffles more than pancakes but would prefer a toaster strudel or muffin. i like apples and lemons and cinnamon and garlic and truffle and black cherries but not maraschino. i dont like onions or cilantro or swiss cheese. i dont like chili because something about the consistency of wet, tomato-ee hamburger makes me ill. i also can't drink hard liquor.

i like smells like thick cologne that lingers and juniper and spearmint and old houses and honeysuckle and the smells of the earth when it stops raining in the summer. i like the smell of other peoples laundry soap and coffee more than my own. i like eucalyptus and aloe and teakwood and dragons blood incense.

i like classic rock from my dad and 80s pop ballads from my mom and afi and lincoln park from my older sibling and 4*TOWN for my younger sibling. one of my earliest loves in music was Paramore, and hayley is an inspiration of mine. i like pop punk and the band ive seen the most is sleeping with sirens, 4 times now. i like hip hop and rnb and acapella and piano. i like music that makes me feel alive. anything from violin to screaming, i just like passion. i'm a very passionate person and always have been despite myself.

i sing and like singing in the car, while i shower, and cook. i am very loud but sometimes can do cool things. i like how singing makes me happy and helps me relate to other people and also my predecessors. i like how i feel connected to those before me through my voice. my first time singing in public was my 4th grade talent show. I sang The Only Exception by Paramore because my parents thought Almost Lover was too dramatic and adult for a 12 year old

i like old movies and i used to fall asleep to them at my grandparents and wake up to them at weekends at my dads apartment. i like musicals like ride the cyclone and drama like the fault in our stars and action like john wick and will always be down for a horror movie. i like get out and candyman and hereditary and black swan and blair witch and creep. i like the twilight zone and rod serling has a special place in my heart. i also like alex trebek from jeopardy, matthew grey gubler, penn badgely, andrew scott, evan peters, and my biggest current celeb crush is matt rife.

i like being alone in busy places. i like to talk to people but i also like to disappear to the other room during the party. im the girl you find sitting outside sometimes smoking, or on the balcony. i enjoy walking back into a concert midsong and seeing all the happy little people being happy. i like stepping away from chaos to appreciate it. i like driving on highways at night when its empty and im high. i like watching airplanes land. i like sleep and i sleep in a tank top and underwear but never socks. my dreams always take me back to this very similiar place every single night doing different tasks with different people. i might start calling it the twilight zone. i like to paint my emotions in my makeup and artwork. i have always felt very deeply and openly.

i like the moon and the stars and it is so fascinating to learn about the same beautiful big rock my ancestors saw. i feel drawn to white butterflies and birds and bumblebees and skinks ( they r tiny lizards). i like history and culture, but im really bad at math.

Emily King's "The European Tour" concert review - July 4th, 2024

Last night, American R&B singer Emily King was in Paris for her European tour. The opening part was done by a French singer. It wasn't bad, although it isn't the music I usually listen to.

A few minutes later, Emily King came on the stage and started off the show with Medal (from her latest album Special Occasion). She kept it going with The Switch (from the album of the same name) and continued with Can't Hold Me (from Scenery), The Animals (from The Switch), Anyway I Love You (her latest song), By You I Mean Me (a bonus track from The Switch), Georgia (from her EP The Seven EP), This Year (from Special Occasion) and she ended the show with Remind Me (from Scenery).

Although I found it a bit short, I really liked the concert. I had already seen her before so I knew what I was expecting and it was great. She's one of my favorite artists and I love what she does. Thanks for reading!

im doing well!! not much happened except for school stuff but i just went to my first ever pit concert a few months ago! i saw the driver era (only because i thought ross lynch was hot lol) i didnt know what to expect for pit but i didn’t expect to stand for 8 hours straight 😭😭 AHHHH ALSO im seeing taylor swift in a few weeks and i literally cannot wait!!!!

I'm sorry for the delay in answering this btw it's been storming here so my wi-fi has been in and out all day!

it's actually only been a year bub! I only know because I looked it up to refresh my memory about what we talked about before cause like I said a lot had happened and I couldn't remember if we'd talked since my accident. it was last year after my birthday and after harry's house came out. but really it's alright I don't want you to feel bad!

thank you so much for the well wishes ❤ I realized after that I left some detail out of what happened to me and didn't explain it very well, but if I ramble on too much just feel free to skip over it! basically not only was I kicked but I went flying about 8 feet across my yard too, which caused me to have a compression fracture on T11 of my spine. I also had a contusion on my right hip (which is just a really, really deep and bad bruise), which is where the point of impact was. I will (hopefully) continue to improve, but having arthritis still causes me to have a ton of pain if I do too much physical activity. that part of my spine is also partly collapsed and always will be, but my neurosurgeon said that as long as my arms and legs are still okay that I should just slowly start to get back to "normal" life and listen to my body as I go along! I asked if I needed to keep up with x-rays or anything over the years but he said my symptoms would get much, much worse if the collapse got any worse and I would know I need to come back to see him. he also said IF I would've had to have surgery that it would take like 12 pins and a huge rod to correct things so I'm so SO lucky that things weren't any worse!

I probably won't get to take that job now (which is a whole other long story), and since there are very limited options we're probably gonna have to broaden our search to surrounding towns that are slightly bigger! we ultimately want a house together, but I think we're gonna have to settle for an apartment for now until we can find the perfect place for us. anything would be better than here rn though!!!

idk if I've ever talked much about my dad to you but we have as no contact of a relationship as possible even though we live in the same house. he's the reason for my accident and so the day it happened and we were waiting for the ambulance to come my mom told him that we wouldn't be coming back to this house. but then we had no choice we didn't have the money or resources needed to go elsewhere. I was worried as I got better she would forget about that and slip out of that mindset, but thankfully she hasn't! she just told me tonight we'd probably go look at apartments next week and that she can't wait to get out of here. I could truly cry at the thought of having a safe, clean, and comfortable space away from him. it's what my mom, my siblings, and our dogs all deserve!

Third time seeing Fall Out Boy. Second time seeing Bring Me The Horizon

The day started with just me going alone to the Woodlands Mitchell Wood Pavilion. I decided to ask Cody Hollis to go with me and Id spot his ticket. I’m glad he ended up coming. This might have been our 4th or 5th concert together.

We showed up just in time to listen to The Serpent, a female singer band. I love listening to female singers in a rock band! They even played “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.

Bring Me The Horizon was the next band to play. It was such a surreal experience seeing them the first time at Rockville all those years ago! They are the 2nd best performance I have ever seen behind Foo Fighters. I had that convo with Cody that night about how those two performances impacted me. This performance was good however I can do without them making us sing the lyrics. They put the S-P-I-R-I-T in “Happy Song”. They played “Drown” and of course “Throne”. It was such a thrilling experience.

Fall Out Boy played last of course. They played a few from their new album, So Much For Stardust. “Dance, Dance”, “Sugar We’re Goin’ Down”, etc. It was a splendid time. ���Thnks fr th Mmrs”.

The song was released on August 27, 2021, by Columbia Records and pgLang. Family Ties" marked Lamar's first single and new music since "Pray for Me" with Canadian singer The Weeknd, released in 2018. The song also marks the first official collaboration between Keem and Lamar, who are cousins. The accompanying music video was directed by Dave Free, and features a cameo from singer Normani, alongside Baby Keem, and Lamar who is billed mid-video as Oklama.

In the first scene, the music video begins with a moshpit of black men, who are wearing black bombers and sunglasses surrounding Keem and Lamar, with the two artists wearing orange attire. Black ballerinas are also featured. In the second scene, Lamar raps about still being relevant in hip-hop despite taking a hiatus. Near the end of the music video, Normani appears in a stretch limo SUV alongside the two rappers, before the rappers make their last proclamations. Throughout the video, clips of different sizes and themes are placed on top of the video, overlapping the ones below them. The video is divided into two "scenes", with scene 1 representing Keem's section, and scene 2 representing Lamar's section.

38th track: “You,” is a track from Jor’Dan Armstrong from the album Church Girls Love R&B released on March 4th, 2022. The album themes consist of Drama, Heartbreak, Action, and most of all [an] inspirational message of Unconditional Love.” In addition to the project is a six-part Instagram series that depicts a woman distraught after finding out about her boyfriend alleged infidelities. Thankfully, her friends (including Armstrong himself) provide support before she makes any terrible decisions, and ultimately reconciles with her significant other following a conversation. Overall is a gospel album filled with inspiring and feel good tunes that are enjoyable to listen to even if you’re not a Christian or a fan of his music.

39th track: Blessed Up is a Song by Anike, Lecrae, and pastor Mike Todd from the album Blessed Up (Remix) released 2021. A remix of the track of the same name, The chemistry between the two artists is palpable as they ping-pong off each other. With inspiring lyrics like "I've been blessed up/I've been broke down/Gotta catch up/Gotta shine now," and a powerful message from pastor Todd, the motivational lyrics inspires the listener to be appreciative of God’s blessings while also inspiring to move and be ready to start the day and celebrate the blessings and the journey that comes with it

40th track: "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" is a song by American singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder, released as the third single from his sixteenth studio album, Innervisions (1973). It reached number 16 on the US Billboard Pop Singleschart, number 10 on the Cash Box Top 100,and number two on the R&B chart. The song's lyrics convey a positive message, focusing on taking things in one's stride and accentuating the positive. In 1992, British band Incognitohad a European hit with their cover of the song.

The tune is in E♭ minor, starting with a Latinpiano intro. The opening melody is reminiscent of Horace Silver's "Song for My Father",over which Stevie engages in an English-speaking dialogue with a woman, trying to impress her with talk of worldliness of having been to "Iraq, Iran, Ukraingia", often misheard as 'Eurasia'. The actual lyric mispronounces Ukraine as the singer runs out of exotic places to reference, with Ukraingia being a totally made up word, before the singer changes to somewhat intelligible Spanish using the phrase "Todo 'stá bien chévere", which loosely translates as "Everything's really great," continuing with an attempt to impress the woman.

It uses the "Sunny" chord progression.
