what's your favourite episode of bob's burgers? mine is season 10 episode 2

This was a really hard question, but thank you so much for the ask!

Tbh Season 10 isn't a season I see a lot of people have favourite episodes from! Your pick is good! Though tbh I don't have many negative feelings towards any episodes from more modern seasons (I love all the seasons, but there are of course some earlier episodes to have qualms with, plus I have 'beef' with Best Burger lol)

As iconic as episodes like Work Hard, or Die Trying Girl (which tbf is probably my most rewatched episode) are, I'd have to put Laser-inth and The Amazing Rudy down as my favourites.

I do have a heavy soft spot for more emotion driven plots, as you could probably guess from those picks.

Laser-inth really sticks with me with how much I relate to Gene here. I do think his struggles here are written as neurodivergence, and it's done really well! I'm autistic and the way the music overwhelms as he starts shouting that he wants to go home REALLY hit me, plus staying in the car because he wants so badly to go back and experience it like other people can, but he just can't deal with it. And Bob is just so nice and supportive the whole time, plus the whole sneaking back in stuff is adorable, yknow?

I'm also not American so I don't have an interest in American Girl, but I'm a fashion doll collector myself (and enjoyed Our Generation when I was younger) so I can understand the b-plot on a level. Plus because of hearing from all the other people in the community who also collect American Girl. It's a really sweet story and, considering they bought the doll, I wish she'd make another appearance sometime, even just becoming a background peice.

The Amazing Rudy made me sob soooo bad. I have a seperated family too and that feeling of wanting to run away is SO strong when they all awkwardly meetup for you and I've never seen it depicted before. I've only seen the episode once, being a newer one, (though I want to watch it tomorrow now lmao) but when I did I was sobbing and curled up in a blanket.

I was very eh on Rudy before this, I didn't dislike him or anything and I found his earlier appearances funny, but I'm just not into the Rudy Louise stuff they push sometimes. Like I'm happy for them as friends but I generally just don't care for kid romances in stuff, I'm just not interested. This episode did give me a newfound appreciation for Rudy, though, and it was just so sweet! I really hope we get more like this in the future.
