"if they do hang out with me then it's only because they want to see you!" lumine's usually cool face quirks into a smile as she watches her brother throw a tantrum. "don't you dare laugh, lu! you think this is funny, don't you?!"

she shrugs. "it's not my fault i'm so damn hot."

she continues to watch aether as he sulks, before she suddenly remembers something. "oh. right. i need to ask one of our upperclassmen to tutor me for the finals." aether glares at her through teary eyes.

"what the hell are you talking about?" he grumps. "we both know you don't need that."

"well, i was thinking of inviting [your name] over to our house for the weekend," lumine starts, feigning innocence. "but if you don't want that then..."

"wait wait wait." aether frantically tries to stop lumine as she twiddles with her hair. "m– maybe i need the refresher too..."

"hm, thought so."

"let's send a selfie to childe while we're at it. he'll be so jealous."

"yeah, let's break his heart even more."

and so the twins continue on their merry way, the bond of blood and shared love repairing their relationship in an instant.

19) AAAAaaa so hard to choose fave songs…! but recently I’ve been listening to Bunny Girl a fair bit, started humming my clematis today so went to listen to that as well…Oh wait fave songs uhh RGU op is lovelyyy! also the song I want to be your lover appears in my mind a lot…wait also song I found on bilibili that does an ouchie to me is (mainly the first part) are you lost AAAAAA if I keep going I am going to fill 10 pages (of these short pages) but uhhhh a doll of lapis and erica’s sorrow and also karen’s cleanup are good! essentially there are too many nice silly songs and I am just really bad at making up my mind >:( (I think I will have links to the YT of these)

A.U where when Sinister still had the real Jean captured, knowing what Madelyne would choose as her villain name once it was time, decided with his fucked sense of humour to *cough* make some changes to Jean’s…..everything.

months later, when Morph went to answer the mansion’s door, they would then proceed to turn around with their arms full holding a scroungy looking pint sized thing. A strange little humanoid with big, frankly stupid looking ears, pale red-peach skin & a rats-nest head of bright auburn hair….

Rightfully so, the mansion is filled with various confused sounding yells & screams of, put simply. WTF.

…hours later, a poor stoopid looking sized gfgffgwwvGHFGVV I CANT- scrambled Jean would wake up in the medbay, feeling wrong, panic horrendously & leap off the bed onto one of the nearby tables, Hank & Logan both trying frantically to calm her down as more chemicals & other safety warrants are continued to be knocked off the surface by Jean’s fur-tipped tail what— & then, though extremely shellshocked & internally suffering, Jean tries to get something, any sort of words back out. But uh, yeah Sinister might have also changed a- bbgbg few ways on how her speech now works. Specifically what would of been “oh my- you- Logan, I need to get to Scott, their- their in danger and I need-d to- oh mY AUUU—-“ now sounds like- “ho,,, ym,,- uoy- nagol,,,, í deen ot teg,, ot ttocs,, rieth,,- rieth ni regnad dna ì,,, deeņ,-ņņ,,, ot- ho yMH ŲŲŲ—-“

fic adora: i'm a dumbass who cannot function because lololo dumb lesbian, i'm a jock i play sprotsball all day and when i don't do that i'm my gf's therapist

i wonder if you are the same salty anon i usually get. it's not that your takes are bad, it's just your asks make me laugh. i can feel several years of fandom frustration behind them.

i dont mind jock adora, i actually think sports adora is big brain, it's more that... she comes across as very silly and neurodivergent a lot of the time while also having this entire arc about how determined she is, she has her entire story with characters like glimmer and light hope and mara and huntara, and adora TALKS in a certain way too, she is always kind of stressed, she doesn't understand how normal people operate from time to time

but it all gets stripped from her and she is made to be too normal

okay, part of this is the show's fault because her (accidental) neurodivergence was emphasized less and less over time (adora is one of a LONG LIST OF PROTAGONIST CHARACTERS who get Neurotypified over time, Luz Noceda is another, Star Butterfly is another, could argue for steven universe too, i found him way less relatable as SU went on)

i do think the first half of season 5 does a good job for an interesting neurodivergent adora however (honestly Chaotic Space Squad Adora is just. *chefs kiss*), and the end of season 4 is very much a high point for her character in terms of showing how strong she has become. by the end of season 5 though i was taken by surprise by the direction it went and while i liked what they were doing, and we are able to write a million bookend analyses of it, especially the shadow weaver dynamic...  i felt like it was retreading for adora. i wouldve enjoyed more rulesbreaker adora. i found her empowering.
