a podcast just dropped reviewing The Day the Earth Blew up!! spoiler warning for plot details of course. posting to get more eyes on it and also because some things stood out to me that i just wanted to archive, UGHHHH i need to see this movie! spoilers under the cut

he describes it as a "Porky Pig movie" which I AM SO HAPPY FOR. i've been saying for awhile now that i so so so so so hope this movie puts Porky back in the public conscious

evidently Daffy is responsible for Porky's stutter by dropping a bowling ball on his head:

praises for its usage of Powerhouse, used in tandem with a "psychedelic sequence"

there's a bit in the trailer where Porky and Daffy strike The Pose, and it is indeed confirmed that this starts up a mini-LT short of sorts where they try various odd jobs to get the money to fix their house. was speculating that this is the case AND I AM SO HAPPY IT IS.

It looks like the server is drawing to a close, at least from the posts I've seen. I haven't been that involved as of late due to a variety of events in my personal life, but might I just say, with all its faults, being a part of this fandom has been a truly incredible experience. Everyone in here is so talented and smart and if I could experience it all over again from the very start I would do so in a heartbeat. Maybe I'd take a few more Portuguese lessons, comment on a few more fanfics, watch a few more streams, and send a few more asks. Or maybe I wouldn't do any of that. I'd just live it all over again and be content with only doing that, because that in and of itself is incredible. Tchau, adiós, hasta luego, and until the next time we meet; this has been a wild ride and I wouldn't give up a single second of it.

i don’t even know HOW but recently me and my brother discovered this artist on spotify with a little less than two hundred listeners. her picture/persona is a roblox character and she specializes in this sort of really vulgar hyperpop type of thing where the vocals are entirely done using text to speech? and me and my brother both had to bite our tongues while listening at first because we were both fucking with it SEVERELY and now we’ve admitted that we’re kind of obsessed. i would never recommend to anyone but there are a few moments where i’ve thought If charli xcx or kim petras was on this the gays would be sobbing…

I don’t understand people who hate having friends. Like my friends are the funniest most talented interesting caring people ever who I am so lucky to have in my life and I would shout it from the roof tops if I could. I fully understand not having the greatest experiences with friends, I didn’t either for a lot of my childhood. But having great friends but just deciding being alone is better? Couldn’t be me. The concept of having people to laugh and scream and cry and be with is insane mindblowing and inherently beautiful
