#bbc merlin#merlin#merlin emrys#this was brought on by me sort of offhandedly thinking about an AU where howl pendragon is actually merlin#because i think he deserves a little melodrama every once in a while#the thought of that actually makes me insanely sad#because#howl’s natural hair is black (like merlin’s)#and he considers himself most beautiful when his hair is blond (like arthur’s)#really i’m just being silly!#and relating two of my favorite medias#which led me to that fun little ponderance
