Hello, I found your blog by chance and read some of your posts.

So I came to ask you. Were you a Jikooker Shipper who saw them romantically and now you no longer see them?

And what was the process of getting rid of the Shipper like?

Because I see a lot of how this Shipper bubble works and there's a lot of toxicity that I can't stay with at all. There is always hate and hatred towards one member or another, there are always people distorting or creating situations to validate something, projecting themselves onto them, treating them like dolls and especially disrespecting the members' bond and this makes me sad.

I look at Jikook's bond as something very special and I have my interpretations about them and I also see the bond of all the members, how they love each other and have their own ways of showing it. I love everyone.

So when I see what shipping has become, it seems like we always have to hate someone and enter this toxic world. I always avoid going into that because I just want to appreciate the bond they all have even though I have a different perspective on the Jikook.

Regardless of what I believe about Jikook, I love them all and I don't put them or what I believe in a position above the love that I see everyone has for each other and I feel like it's difficult for things to be like that nowadays.

Nowadays the crazy Shippers have ruined everything, that's what makes me sad. I feel like whatever happens nothing will change what happens to shippers, this bubble that becomes toxic, if the person ships they can't get out of it anymore, they get worse, hating one of the members, refusing to see other things outside the bubble, being irrational, and being bad even for the members who ship.

I almost can't see who really comes out of this shipper bubble and knows how to appreciate their bond without hating or belittling others.

So that's why I was curious and asked you these questions from the beginning.

Well, I always preferred to take a more neutral stance and was opposed to over-the-top takes—which applies to a lot of them—but I was definitely more willing to engage in hypotheticals regarding Jkk at one time. I would also lean into certain narratives a bit more, which is a far cry from what I do now.

Moving past that shipper mentality wasn’t a major obstacle for me because all throughout my time here, I’ve been open about the fact that RPS makes me extremely uncomfortable. Ethically, it’s just really weird (and sometimes gross), even though I’m aware that it’s part of the fandom culture.

My experience is so much more enjoyable when shipping isn’t factored into the debates, and no one is comparing the significance of one relationship vs. another.

I’m still biased towards Jkk, and if all of them went on their own paired shows at the same time, I’m more likely to gravitate towards them. But they’re definitely not “better” in any sense than the others.

11. When do you think a ship is not fruitful for your muse development or enjoyable to write?

Hmm! A good question. I don't really fully know, because I think I leave it very much to the muse's discretion lol. I don't tend to go into interactions planning to ship. So with that, I kinda end up not knowing what to expect! I could probably tell you by interaction how that's affected the character and their feelings on the other person, but even the littlest or biggest thing might change the whole trajectory. Tbh I think everyone brings something interesting and unique to the table, so in most cases i'm open to it if the chemistry happens and it feels natural regardless of speed it happens at. It's fun because personalities can have some real interesting chemistry narratively you don't expect!

BUT that's kind of a side tangent. The best answer I can come up with is if it feels like the mun is trying to force it? Like if the mun tries to undo every conflict, especially if their muse is instigating it, either by having it erased, or their character immediately trying to fix it? Or making their muse behave out of character to make something happen (especially if it aligns with the muse they're interested in's wants/needs), and coming up with reasons why after the fact? Even going out of character and basically asking what the right answer should be so their character can say the right thing, so they can get extra points with the other muse. It feels kinda metagamey and trying to force a good relationship to happen, and it feels inauthentic and kinda makes me feel weird and uncomfortable sometimes?

The other thing is if some of that stuff happens and it feels like the only thing the other mun is after is a ship between the muses. I think shipping stuff can be a neat side effect of rp! But my focus is on characters and how they change and grow and bond when connecting to others, and the constant ever changing growth that comes with being a person. So when someone is clearly there for the ship, most of the time they don't know my version of a character, just either the canon version they're interested in or in OC cases, that they like their look. They'll usually approach and immediately ask to ship, and I'm just not comfy without at least having some kind of interaction first, even if we establish a baseline to make that easier and not need an introduction thread that's an in-character first meeting.

Gosh, that reminds me of a story i find funny though.

It was yearssss ago and it still kinda makes me laugh at the absurdity. I had yet at the time the ability to say no to anyone. someone approached asking for an rp. I agreed, and they immediately wanted to ship, and toss Artair and his gang into a ship with their oc. I was kinda like 'haha i don't know your muse' and they were like Okay. Then just remove the single woman in the ship. Which is bonkers as a response? And i was like 'well maybe we should have them interact first, Artair is demi' which they they asked me to explain why he was demi, how it worked and why that would prevent him from liking thier OC, and what specific traits that they should describe their muses having so I could decide if he'd like him--- and then when i said i didn't know if hearing the traits and not seeing them in action would work, they were like 'okay just put him with the other guy not artair' .

i didn't know how to say no so i just tried to make it sound really boring if i wrote him, so they changed their mind and agreed to just a platonic thread with artair. And then immediately jumped into stuff like a demon chopping off all their limbs and artair needing to make prosthetics and attach them to this character. I distinctly remember that they said artair could surgically attach them and i said I didn't think artair could do that part, and they went 'well then who can' and i was like '.....a doctor?' with the most bafflement lol. It was wild, and my one friend still jokingly says 'paging doctor art-io' as a joke (art-io was because I said artair was as qualified to be a real doctor as dr. Mario was when i told them, i think xD)

That mun went to eat dinner and never came back to the conversation, which i was alright with. Then six months later they reached out and asked to rp again, and i told them if they want to rp, I specifically don't ship-- and they never responded and i never heard from them after that xD

i like what i'm seeing in this qsmp tag, let's be better than the bird app red team enjoyers, OUR STREAMERS MIGHT THINK THEY'RE UNBALANCED BUT WE GOTTA SEE THAT THEY'RE NOT. LIKE TRUE FANS. EXPERIENCE  /  HOW  LONG  (  MONTHS  /  YEARS? ) :　Holy shit, you want me to count that far back. You want me to tell you how old I really am!?! So, I started to roleplay when computers were pretty new to houses. YES! I was one of those kids that was graced by the first computers in houses! I think my first computer was a IMB one or something, but I started playing on a computer with internet back in 2000. My parents didn't have a lot of money so we couldn't get an earlier computer; this was a gift from a friend at church for me. It had Windows 98 I think or something. I don't know.

Anyway, got distracted, but when that  came around, one of the first forums every I think that had roleplaying on the web was called Avidgamers. I played Pokemon as a self insert character. One liner diaster writer I was. So yeah, I've been roleplaying for about 23 years now, but in terms of writing, I have been writing stories since I was 9 years old, so that is about 26 years (I use to also write self insert stories in Sailor Moon or Pokemon or things like that XD). Anywho, I went on a tangent, anyone who reads this your amazing.

BEST  EXPERIENCE :　Oh man, I'm not sure. There are so many things that could be my best. I use to own forums before, I had some amazing partners. I miss them dearly and I hope they are doing amazing things now. Honestly, I think its just the level of growth I've had over the years. From going to being a self-insert writer who could only write a line or two, to now trying to expand my writing and doing more. To be more quality then quantity, but also meeting partners who absolutely challenge me to write better and be better. I want to be good for people, but there are those partners that absolutely push me to try even harder and be even better.

RP  PET  PEEVES  /  DEALBREAKERS :　I'm not saying this is a pet peeve? but I typically stray away from one liners or massive purple prose writing that I don't understand what I'm reading. While I never deny anyone's choice of writing, these are the things I tend to stay away from because I personally cannot write them. I  can't really say what my pet peeves are? I probably have some but I don't know of the top of my mind.

MUSE  PREFERENCES  FLUFF,   ANGST  OR  SMUT :　I am, hands down, an absolute fiend for angst. I know it might be overwhelming for some people but I really find it carthatic for myself? and have a double enjoyment of angst that turns to fluff. I like to call it Angsty Fluff, or Fluffy Angst. The bonding of two people in difficult moments whether that is fighting to survive death or helping someone through a rough period. Two people, bonding and encouraging each other is something I really enjoy to write. I also don't mind writing smut, I actually enjoy it but I do tend to write smut with people who I heavily plot with often.

PLOTS  OR  MEMES :　Plots. While I post memes a lot, I do try to create a plot line to those memes too. I need some kidn of foundation. I am not looking for a written out script we have to follow to a T, that's not what I mean. What I am looking for is just like this idea to build around, maybe even talking about our muses connections and waht they are dealing with at the time. That kind of foundation and design really helps me feel more connected to our msues and the writing. I love memes, but I tend to only continue memes with people I plot with a lot.

LONG  OR  SHORT  REPLIES :　I love long threads. like you don't have to apologize for anything because I thrive on really long replies. I have had replies go up to 1.5k words, which absolutely thrills me. The shortest replies I can do is maybe 2 paragraphs. Any shorter then that, and I tend to loose interest and have to drop it.

BEST TIME TO WRITE :　Honestly, no idea. I am far more productive at night my time (CST). I tend to stay up til 2 or 3am.

ARE  YOU  LIKE  YOUR  MUSE(S) :　Caitlyn is very much my muse, so much so we relate on many different levels. I understand her deeply and I'm very connected to her. As for my other muses, yes and now. But caitlyn, hands down, is almost like a part of me that I get to write fully.

King Johnathan and Queen Bambee of France been in Tonga this week and this royal visit has been going great. So far we learned the families has came together. We learned the monarchs children have met each other and been bonding. King Johnathan and Queen Bambee has met the Earl, Countess and Royal Advisor of Tonga. Before I was on Tumblr, I tried doing canon muses and I just learned I preferred my own at some point.

Despite adoring the sweeter characters ocs I got, I actually writing the rough, selfish, straight forward or sassier ones the most. It's very self indulging when I get to develop a muse that's rough around the edges actually bond or even do the opposite and just hates or dislikes someone. Seeing seemingly bratty kids Tisha or Trixy actually show a softer side, prima donnas like Shanice or Lucy show they're equally kind and lovable but just rough but always there for you, but also the flipside of Tisha and Trixy being little shits or Shanice acing like a diva or Lucy being a petty as hell.

Surprisingly over the years, I have gotten more like that at least in the straight forward and sometimes rough side. Nowadays I am pretty direct with others. I am nice and all, most people hear my soft voice and look at me don't see it out of me then I surprise them. Though pretty different other than that, mostly due to these characters I use these personality types for are more extroverted.

9. If you could give any advice to other muns, what would you say to them?

Don't try to be a people pleaser and dismiss your own feelings or values for anyone, I don't care how tight you think you are with them don't. Period.

Remember you role play for yourself, this your hobby for your own personal enjoyment and comfort. Don't let anyone take that away from you. This don't mean be a major dick to anyone and not be able to accommodate or compromise either, just don't be a doormat and forget your own boundaries or just be unhappy to make someone else happy and still be your rp partner.

name: rubi! ive had two or three aliases over my time online, rubi's just the one that feels most like second nature to me. i also adore taking to some variations of my tag. ( ie. ivana, ruben, ru, etc. ) preference of communication: im almost always on disc.d ( dearest creature#1962 - feel free, im literally always open to rant about dynamics, ideas n whatnot n id absolutely adore talking to some of you ♡ ), alongside tw.tter, since its easier for me to keep tabs on with mobile. anything ooc is always easier to do with me through either, i hate tumblr ims. most active muse: marisa's been rattling around in my brain for a good while now, and even when im not writing for her ill normally have an idea or two about her simmering. i haven't had this much enjoyment from dissecting and delving into a muse in a very long time, along with the fact my perception of her is always changing with every re-read / rewatch / discussion. bedelia is also always around to me even if im not currently writing her, she's very fun to play off of and even gives me a good grounding point to bounce from if I'm stuck with other muses. experience / how many years: about eight years or so now ? i've always enjoyed writing since i was younger so developing that through my own writing and picking up muses while growing up has been a nice learning journey. platforms you use: tumblr, tw.tter and disc.d. best experience: when my mutuals and i are writing something more prolonged n they come at me with something absolutely devastating. got hit with something someone was brewing for weeks once unknowns to me and oh boy connecting the dots left me a wreck. rp pet peeves: people who create certain muses and expect their dynamic to adhere to your muse without any regard for your portrayal. im always for original muses, but not talking to me first when certain muses of mine just. do not fit certain dynamics is a big no no. fluff, angst or smut: depending on the context i adore fluff and angst equally. i thrive off of writing domestic fluff just as much as i would heartbreak or any other darker subject. i love the bittersweet nature of lyra and marisa's first time bonding or AUs where things are more domestic for them just as much as her reconciliation with asriel, or the intensity of the torture scene with the witches. if it exists and it hurts or its tooth-rottingly sweet i want it all. smut is a sore spot for a few reasons, alongside the fact it just isn't what i care about / have focus on for my writing or my muses, so it would be very, very rare for me to even consider, and even then only ever with close writing partners. long or short replies: it can really depend on the day and what muse im writing. i thrive more with longer replies for characters like marisa, because it's easier for me to find a voice and get into her head. short, bantery replies normally leave me lacking in what i feel a character is like, and shorter comedic interactions just aren't what i'd consider to be my strong suit in writing, so i linger towards longer replies. the biggest thing about long replies is i burn out very easily though, so i try my best to find a middle ground. best time to write: at night, on weekends or early morning before my classes. any time i have to myself where i can just draft things for a little bit, ideally. are you like your muse(s): christ i hope not, im way too sensitive to take to being called moral filth lmfao. i think what's so compelling about marisa is i'd love to inhabit some of her strengths, though. i adore her guile, and her femininity and her ability to take everything head on. she's so unbelievably driven and intelligent in what she does and okay come on im a lesbian why do you think im really here writing for her.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to go into this, but I'll try.

Minti is romantic and demisexual, which is *very* different from my World of Warcraft character, Sabbac.

Sab was a flirty, burlesque embodiment of the Harkness test: she loved people, she loved being around/performing for people, and she loved being in people had a great enjoyment of bedroom activities. Life was short, people were your parents' stash of wine, it was after dinner, and she was thirsty. But, she knew how to be in control when she wanted to, and when to keep problem suitors out of her bedroom. Her favorite books would have been The Ethical Slut and The New Topping/Bottoming Books by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy. (I recommend the books by Easton and Hardy, btw. I'm not in my city's kink scene anymore - I'm sure some internet sluths can figure out where and when, and if so, good for you, here's Reddit silver - but they were good reads then.)

Back to Minti. She's cautious. She doesn't want to do those boyfriend tests you find on TikTok or Reddit (Which I think are clickbait/ragebait paired with ads for MLM products and trash supplements, but also turning relationships into Spy vs. Spy comics, but I am going off the rails here). She also doesn't want to invest her time/mental energy into someone's who's going to end up as a regret later. So, it usually ends up being friendship -> check for emotional bonds -> Pursue possible romance. It never ends up as methodical or precise as this, this is just how it happens, when it happens.

Minti isn't particularly brainy or ladylike, despite Lady Treleaux's efforts to rein in this mess of a viera girl, so dates aren't high tea or long visits to the Studium. She likes being outdoors, going for long drives or rides, and sometimes getting into the swirling mass of RP clubs and feeling really toppy after getting into a fight club that she was invited to and good hangouts. Just three things, never you mind anything else that might be there.

Romantic pursuits. She had been involved with Suzaku, one of the Four Lords and auspice, but felt the need to leave after Suzaku wanted to bring her back to the Red Sea and employ her as a shrine guardian. Isn't that nice? "You get to love me forever, and have really good sex and companionship, but you can't leave, and every hundred years or so you get to go out and recruit heroes to stop me from going completely bananas." Really great arrangement there.

These days, she's putting her feelers out with Krile Baldesion. I hate to lean into the "Friends with Sappho" trope, but for now, that's where she's at with Krile. They really like each other, and they spend time with each other, boy do they enjoy being close. Would it be nice to have a weekend in Eureka, soaking in the hot tubs there. But, is this a thing? Are we a thing? Should we? Maybe it should be. They're not that Facebook post of "In an alternate life, I would be your husband, wouldn't that be funny, haha", thank the Twelve.

My money's on Krile asking Minti out first, or putting the suggestion that they get together first. They may already be together at the time of this post. Boy I love playing with Tumblr fonts.

Summary: “Montego never actually sees the property before it’s bought. Reuben asks him to come with, when he gets the confirmation in the mail, says they could make it something together. But Montego has that sad little tilt in his eyes that tells them he could never say yes to that. So Reuban goes alone.”

Growing up around ranch and farm work, Reuben was kicked by a horse on a job when they were 25, an injury that caused severe damage to their jaw and left ear. They developed hearing issues and pain that made being in populated spaces difficult, struggling with overstimulation, balance, and tinnitus. As a result, it moved up to a house on the outskirts of a town called Silent Run to live its best autDHD life in relative quiet, tending to a small garden, a few cows and chickens, and a farm cat. Being somewhat of a mystery to the townsfolk, many stories and tall tales have popped up around Reuben, developing him into a sort of local cryptid. They’re just vibing though, baking, crafting, and occasionally being visited by their traveling musician lover.

Montego Maldonado/Dantae Angel (trans man, he/him)

Reuben’s traveling musician partner, Montego is only an occasional visitor to Silent Run. His mother moved up to the states from Argentina during the period of the civil wars, and Montego grew up on a ranch with a stepfather he hated. He eventually ran away and transitioned as he took up a generally successful music career under the name Dantae Angel. He met Reuben before their accident, where the two of them formed a close bond and eventually privately connected on their transness. Montego was the one who took care of Reuben in the aftermath of their injury, helping it to recover. He’s not ready to settle down and likely never will be, but cares deeply for Reuben and visits a few times a year, sending letters and gifts otherwise. Montego is thoughtful, headstrong, and feels things deeply and fully. He likes anatomy, and paints animal bones between practicing on his guitar.

(Montego is an AU version of one of my main OCs Moses, who’s canon info can be found here. However he’s a very different man in this timeline, having been able to experience a much more enjoyable life and find happiness. General pictures below, though he does not have the same lip scar or way of dress as Montego.)

I had an ask blog called ask-themedicat or something like that. During my tf2 enjoyment era. And I wasn't aware you could actually roleplay. Since I've been used to uh skype rps and what was warrior cat rps on flipnote studio.

As I was more familiar with ask blogs at the time. because a former friend of mine was running a pretty popular MLP ask blog. Then I like jumped in and made Grimsby a blog who was uhhhhhh man an edge lord but that was like my time in middleschool to highschool it was bond to happen-

As a heads up:

I currently have zero interest in serious RPs with Nobori/Ingos for Kudari's current timeline. For the moment I am single verse as I flush out my muse and the direction I want to take things. I'm fine with silly posts but I don't have a huge drive for serious RPs with his brother at this time.

At some point I'll be willing to write something post his return/the moment in which he does but it'll be fairly emotional and I think it'll have more impact on my writing and my own personal enjoyment if I allow my muse to grow and gain other bonds, positive or not.

I'm fine with silly dash commentary posts or ask memes but please understand all these interactions will be considered non canon.

when I am ready I'll most certainly wish to plot things out at that time.

Fluff, Drama, Lighthearted or Dark

I wanna plot gdi.

Look I love short n sweet interactions, quick asks and small threads they're all great but I'm going to be perfectly honest. I Miss plotted stuff.

I miss a single lengthy thread, or continues story beats and plots over multiple. I want progression.

Character Growth- for all muses, the world and story building, relationship growth/bonding. The good, the bad, the happy , the sad and everything else that comes with those types of threads.

Quite frankly that's what I want more then anything in regards to Kisara, future of the blog, general desire/rp interest.

This isn't to say I want to stop or won't continue doing small stuff, answering asks and sending that. I'm always for those especially as good buffers whether as a break from a current thread, a lull in motivation, life getting in the way of being able to focus on lengthy things you know whatever.

I'll always be 110% on board for any and every interaction nor am I discounting the enjoyment they've brought in the past, I love everyone one of you guys and everyone of our interactions has been a joy to do and always will be.

But I'm gonna be real it has been far to long since I last did like a properly plotted thread, a fun long continuous thread that didn't end up dying out or forgotten real quick.

Just wanted to let everyone know this is what I've really been feeling and really wanting to try and lean into more not just for her but in general with my rping as whole this year.

But especially here cause in part the fragmented one shot mini threads while always fun they kinda end up all over the place and I'd love to be able to start creating some kind of time line? do interactions that will actually carry over from one to the next, consequences for actions, lasting affects of things good or bad between threads (which I already have been trying to do that with some of her interactions and not just let them sit in a unconnected nebulous zone of their own heh)

and when it comes to my Elden Ring self insert... well. I love Elden Ring's story and atmosphere but the CC is. Well it's just okay. I do like her hair tho. and Edit to say it's not like I DISLIKE the Elden Ring CC it's just. okay. It's fine! It does the job. But there's nothing about it to write home about.

And then we have Dirzafay, my BG3 MC. She is saved by the fact I have stuffed her full of mods LOL but if I was just working with the vanilla stuff she'd be my least favorite I can't lie u_u AND edit to add that while I dislike the preset faces and lack of body customization for BG3, they ATE with the hairstyles even if I prefer using modded ones. If I couldn't have modded hair it wouldn't be a big deal because the hair is just That Good. A lot of games with CC are def trying to step it up on the hair game and I appreciate it, though I won't say it's perfect yet. But the effort was much needed considering how Bad older games CC hairstyles are...

I think what I like most about BG3 and the Tav character (Durge as well but they are diff in this aspect mostly) is that the RP options you're given really... let you bond with them? IDK, it's really easy to make them feel like YOUR character while making them really enjoyable to play as. You're given a lot to make up so they don't become too defined of a character- like... I guess an example would be like Hawke from DA2? No matter how much you customize them they are still Hawke. But Tav is more like your DAO Warden, they are your character (or self insert) and they can be whoever you want them to be. (and an edit aside to say even your warden has more set in stone BG than Tav but Tav still feels just as likeable and customized to me) And it's even like that with Durge! Because of the whole mind wipe, you get to give them their new identity. Even if it's choosing to be the dark urge this time, it was at least a choice this time instead of forced upon them.

BUT this was about CC. And sadly the vanilla BG3 CC, though you are able to make characters who look good, they aren't really all that unique unless you REALLY dress them up, otherwise they could easily just be an NPC so without mods, it's pretty lame. In fact worse than an NPC cuz some NPCs have unique faces LOL I guess my point is that Tav's high points aren't really in the appearance customization (for vanilla) but rather their personality.

AND. One more edit to say... I know it's not really the goal of Elden Ring or Dragon's Dogma since they aren't CRPGs, but it's one thing to just. have a character you can customize. It's another to be able to mold their personality and morality and all that. So I'll always prefer CRPGs. But the lack of dialogue and characterization also allows you a lot of space to make up whatever you want about your Tarnished or Arisen so it's got its good points as well. But I think BG3 was able to accomplish that just as well, I think it truly masterfully worked with a blank slate type character without making them boring.

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER.REPOST, DO NOT REBLOG!

NAME: Kosmic! Well, it's a more recent change in terms of online alias. I still very much go by Eryn, but because I've been able to take that name and make it my IRL name, I've decided to have a new online name for comfort's sake. Ofc, I don't mind being called by my IRL name here, but I grew up old-school, ya know?

PRONOUNS: they/them!

PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION:  I like to start with Tumblr IMs, but I'm definitely okay with sharing my Discord with mutuals because 1.) I hate Tumblr IMs, and 2.) my mobile app is typically logged into my personal account, so I don't always respond to messages quickly.

NAME OF MUSE(s): Aether is my primary muse always, but I do want to write more with Xiao, Wanderer, Freminet, Lyney, Lynette, and Layla! Aether just comes more naturally, but I know that I'll never get a chance to write the others if I don't have everyone on the same blog.

BEST EXPERIENCE: This one is rather personal and less about the Tumblr RPC, but I think the 'best experience' I've ever gotten from RP is being able to meet my current partner through Discord Group RP. Between Gen.shin specifically and RP, if it wasn't for meeting him, I would still be stuck in a horrible situation IRL because I wouldn't have been able to physically move away. And without that, I wouldn't have been able to continue having a passion for the game and RP, and thus wouldn't have been able to meet all the wonderful friends I've made. It's a butterfly effect, but it still falls under a 'best rp experience' imo.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS: One-sided conversations and being talked over constantly. For me personally, roleplay is about building a story and developing characters together. More times than I can count have I've been subjected to people who exclusively talk about their characters or personal interests, and will always change the topic to fit themselves whenever I try to engage with something based on my muse/experiences. I'm not a brick wall to be talked to, and my muses are not accessories for your own character. Roleplay is a partnership between writers imo, and I will drop people who continue to act in such a manner as stated above.

MUSE PREFERENCES: As in muses that I would like to write against? Hm, I know I prefer dynamics that easily give my characters a reason to go back for more. It may be a basic answer, but it does encompass a lot of variety in muses I think? Whether it be shared history, empathy, a mystery to solve, a curiosity to explore, an itch to scratch — it's hard to argue that realistic relationships aren't built on the base concept of reoccurrance. It's not exactly always fun for me to try to mash two random characters with no similarities and try to make them stick; after all, why should my character want to see some stranger again without reason? This is also why I want to make my own muses have enough depth to intrigue other characters to want to form that connection, because I want our characters to develop and grow because they know each other, to have a lasting bond whether it be familial, platonic, or romantic.

PLOTS OR MEMES:  I like plotting mostly, but I'm always okay with memes! It really just depends on how much canon has given to our characters. Let's take Lyney as an example: with his strongest bonds like Lynette, Freminet, and Arlecchino, I would gladly start with memes because there's already a basis for interaction. But if a Ga Ming were to show up? That's a bit more difficult since there's nothing really tying them together in canon. Like sure, I can figure something out, but what does the mun want from this exchange? At that point, I'd rather plot something to make sure both parties are satisfied.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: At minimum a paragraph, but I personally struggle to provide quality with shorter replies. Between my tendency to ramble and my desire to give an enjoyable response ( and my brain wants my writing partners to go 'goddamn that's a good response' ), my replies tend to be 3-5 paragraphs? It really depends on the overall plot of a thread and how close I am to that particular mun. Honestly it's one of the reasons I struggle to write nowadays cuz I'm never happy with my own replies ;~;

BEST TIME TO WRITE: Truly, honestly? I write the best when I'm doing actual work, and it SUUUUCKSSSSS. All my brain juice is flowing when I'm working and my brain has time to wander, but due to working in food service, I don't exactly have time to write. I do keep a notebook at my prep table to write down scraps of sentences, whether it be a thread I'm really focused on, or a headcanon thought that will disappear the moment I get home, but it's still not often I get the chance to stop and actually write it down because at that point, my brain goes blank. Same with when I get home, all those thoughts are lost to the wind. After that, the best time for me is in the early morning when I'm still in bed. I do keep a notebook in my nightstand and I'll pull it out when I have the time to write because that's when everything is 'fresh' for me.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): This current batch of muses? Well, my partner likes to joke that I'm an Aether kinnie, but I think that's just cuz he loves how I write him lol. I try to not use Aether as a 'self-insert' cuz I hate the whole "the Traveler is only a self-insert and not their own character" shtick, and I don't think I'm really similiar to anyone else I write? I do find shared qualities between myself and my muses, but that's about it. Now if any of y'all think otherwise, then. . . ¯_(ツ)_/¯
