i was at this show, and it was such a good time—everybody screamed when erik rutan got out there with his death metal guitar to do 'best ever death metal band,' and i remember thinking, you know, what a florida experience in all directions

#well the main thing i remember is the bright joy of it all #you ever been in a crowd at the mountain goats show shouting 'hail satan' together? holy experience bro. sorry to be lame but it was #anyway i still feel out of place up here & i keep thinking about my definitive florida moments. especially non-horrible ones #this was also the show where we all shouted along to jam eater blues: 'life is too short to spend the rest of it down here in tampa'#& that has proven true!
