Nahida had apparently quickly spread the news that you can’t understand them, but luckily it seems like all the characters still know you!

Alhaitham is pretty much a constant by your side, you knew he was vaguely studying linguistics in the akademiya… but that knowledge still didn’t prepare you to be intensely stared at with his diamond pupils for hours. 💀

Then he’d tap your shoulder or something, and you quickly picked up that he wanted you to just try and say something.

Then he would scribble for hours.

Turns out they can understand you about as much as you understand Teyvat language (s? You can’t even tell if there are multiple languages, that’s how unrecognizable this language is, damn)

The more extroverted or friendly people, like Venti, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Jean, Noelle, Amber, Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Zhongli, Ganyu, Barbara, Beidou, Collei, Ayaka, Gorou, Nilou

At least attempt to talk to you, and try very hard to watch what you gesture with your hands or body language

They're pretty much ready to play charades at all times for you lol

Interestingly enough, they only ever understood you when you typed in the chat (with other ppl)

But even then not immediately, 

Sumeru scholars basically had to make a whole new department (regardless of how much you play with others) to decipher your ancient language (to them) like those old clay tablets with cuneiform we’re still translating?

Like that, your words appear in elemental magic heavy places (so like that abyss lang. It’ll appear on walls or structures, so like Andrius’ stone colosseum? in Wolvendom gained some of your chat replies inscribed and glowing a rainbow of colors on the top edges of the walls)

Much like the abyss language you see throughout genshin, most Teyvat scholars (across nations/internationally) agreed your language is the oldest form of language known!

It’s like modern languages having roots in older ones, like English with Latin, greek, or German roots, or Sanskrit and the Prakrit for Hindi language today

…so of course no one really speaks the root languages anymore, because they’re so old, so those ancestors who spoke those languages would have little to no understanding of their modern counterparts…

Occasionally if you turned your mic on for whatever reason there would be a gentle whisper on the winds in Mondstadt of your voice,

or your laugh in the waves washing ashore in Inazuma and Fontaine,

your startled noises or screams from battling bosses mixed with the landslides in the mountains of Liyue

So they know what you sound like, but that doesn’t mean they understood your language :/

Nahida had been hoping that you’re actual physical form being here would help improve the language barrier

But unfortunately, those things remained the same, but at least you were physically here to talk to now and give more content for the scholars to study rather than them having to make do with your snippets of language from chats

…so needless to say, it took you a long time to realize they viewed you as a god of sorts.

You kind of knew something was up when at least two allogenes were by your sides at all times, or eremites would replace them if they really couldn’t stick around

You figured they knew you weren’t nearly as combatant-ready as they were at all times, hell you obviously didn’t have a vision hanging off you somewhere, and you only really had a knife strapped to a belt, courtesy of the Thirty Corps

You are still kind of convinced that the people of Teyvat, or Sumeru at least, are just pretty polite (and in the allogenes case, very kind or friendly, even people like Alhaitham or Cyno, resting bitch faces they have, seem to soften a little when they’re walking around with you… maybe you’re just imagining it…)

And as much as you would love to wait until they understand you to do something more fun, as you can see the frustration on Tighnari’s face (and his ears try to flatten back hehe) as he looked like he was debating heatedly with some of the Sumeru sages who insist you stay in the city

…so why not go?

It’s not like they’re going to get it anytime soon, and it’s still too frustrating for yourself to charade things or draw things for them because you can’t even hear their guesses 💀

You can totally handle being like the traveler too, 

You still have access to your inventory afterall! Plus, lucky for you, you still find a pass for the Serenitea Pot in your little pocket dimension!

So now you have somewhere to sleep at night, and while most of your stuff went to the traveler’s pack, the things like Primogems

(which.. Okay now you really want primogems bc theyre so pretty and shiny irl)✨️

And other high-level things, or just objects of no use for the traveler (so basically all your hoarded level up stuff and infinite amount of weapons lol) came along with you

So you did have to wander the first week or so around the city and even commission the Adventurer’s Guild to grab you food supplies to cook with

Filling up, along with a few big waterskins, you’re off!

...and everyone collectively has a heart attack!

When you show up in Ghandaraville essentially all “✨️💖☺️✨️” on Tighnari’s doorstep-

He chokes on the tea he’d been sipping on before he opened the door lol

He looks a little frazzled so you try to just gesture with “calm yourself small animal” energy with your hands

“Tivzgvhg Oliw! R'n- R- sld wrw blf-?! Mvevinrmw, xlnv rm, xlnv rm, ivhg! ...R mvvw gl hvmw z nroorlm ovggvih mld gl ylgs gsv vmgriv xrgb lu Hfnvif, gsv Zxgrmt Tizmw Hztv, zmw gsv Nzgiz nlhg orpvob…” he began out looking at you and talking and gesturing to his small dining table (the game sucks, his house looks great and has lots of cool rooms filled with interesting plants… oooo…so pretty...) 

But then he kinda just devolved into rambling, no need to understand, you can read the vibes and just know that's what he's doing lol

Collei eventually ducks in, and she looks a little panicked?

She’s quickly followed by Cyno, pushing past her to call out into the house,

His voice seems hard and stressed, looking at Tighnari, “Grtsmzir, szev blf hvvm gsv Tivzgvhg Oliw zmbdsviv, gsvb dviv hvvm xlnrmt gl Tszmwziezeroov ozhg-” 

Cyno stops and blinks.

Collei’s mouth is slightly dropped open, she also just, blinks.

You blink. 

Tighnari blinks tiredly, he looks like he’d rather be done for the day, you think.

The doctor sighs, and moves his head to nod towards the other dining seats.

Sumeru foods are so much better looking in real life, and they’re so good too, your practically bloated by the end of dinner, 

As a thank you, bc u cant say it obv, you just gesture for Tighnari to stay sitting, and he gives you a raised eyebrow and a suspicious ear twitch

But stays still, and you reach out to finally hit the eight-pointed star hovering over his, and all playable characters chests at all times.

Like you suspected, it brings up a holographic character menu, but rather than his full model, it kind of hovers in front of Tighnari’s face, replacing his old 3D model self with framing the real thing for a portrait just in front of his face

The poor Denro user nearly jumps a foot out of his chair as he looks in shock at your screen, you do the same “chillll boy” gesture with your hands and press his shoulders for a second to remind him to not run off or panic

Cyno and Collei had done the dishes and put up leftovers, and are now standing behind Tighnari, watching with equally wide eyes,

“...Dszg ziv gsvb wlrmt gl blf?

Cyno’s voice is even deeper and quieter than usual, you feel goosebumps run up your spine

“Ziv blf tvggrmt yovhhvw, Nzhgvi Grtsmzir?!” Collei’s sweet voice is also hushed like she’s witnessing something sacred, Tighnari gently shakes his head negatively in response, his shoulders shrugging,

“Nzbyv? R uvvo... z orggov hgilmtvi, zmw nb Erhrlm rh zxgrmt fk zh dvoo…”

Though he’s replying, Tighnari’s eyes haven’t once left your ancient magic? technology device? hovering in front of him,

and as he crosses his arms and squints to try and look closer at everything floating in front of him, you can see the childlike gleam of awe in his green eyes, (so cute) in fact, now that you glance up and look, both Collei and Cyno have the same quietly excited and fascinated sparkle in their eyes too

With a displeased sneer, you chuck his old level one bow into the material grinding spots, hope he wasn’t attached to that…

Oh well, he’ll like the new one better, afterall, with no characters, all your best weapons and artifacts are ready to use!

With a small smile of reassurance, you finally finish gearing Tighnari up, tap a miniature version of that 8-point star in the corner like an “X” button, and it retreats like a classic TV set📺 turning off into his chest, he startles but then carefully stands

You decide to just start making decisions bc its worked out so far ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And grab his hand and haul him out into the forest, Collei letting out a surprised squeak, her and Cyno hurrying after

You reach the nearest clearing, and gesture at Tighnari like a bow and arrow firing, he gets it, and your glad he already trusts you, because he doesn’t take long to summon his bow

He takes aim at a smaller tree about two cars length away

You can feel them all holding their breathe, as Tighnari charges it with Dendro, the arrowhead glowing, (it looks so cool and badass irl god you feel envious even tho ur already here-)

The ranger lets it fly, it streaks neon green, whistling through the air, it hits the tree-

and it fucking explodes.

Vines and leaves and the trees roots all rapidly swell like theyre filled with water, like it literally got hit by a superhero with plant powers, which, not that far off actually.

The green floating Dendro seeds make a ring around the tree its so full of elemental energy-

You give a wild grin, you still got it, hell yeah. >:)

Your grin widens as you look over at Tighnari, Collei, and Cyno

Cyno has a smirk lighting up his face, eyes eager, Collei’s jaw has dropped and she’s just frozen staring as the tree finally settles from the burst of the dendro powered arrow

…Tighnari has lowered his bow, and his mouth is only slightly open, his ears perked straight up into the air, shaking with excitement? Happiness? Interest? You don’t know how peopl-animal-hybrid ears work,

and you STILL cant talk to any of them to ask what they thought, so looks will have to do >:/

Tighnari is the first to move, his head snapping over to look at you, the brightest, kinda feral tbh, smile taking over his face-

hi! okay this is insanely long but i had a lot of thoughts so bear with me pls.

i was scrolling through the jercy tag bc i'm starved and saw ur posts abt rhea/kronos & percy/jason and have to say i love them sm!! it's such an interesting concept and i've got a lot of cool thoughts abt them now thanks to you, buttt,, may i also offer metis/zeus & percy/jason parallels? it's a little stretch but hey idc it's fun

metis is the daughter of oceanus, percy is the son of poseidon (at both times, they're a child of the ruler of the seas) zeus is the son of kronos, jason is the son of zeus (at both times, they're a child of the ruler of the universe) metis & zeus met and fought a war to end kronos together...percy & jason unknowingly fought together during the titan war to end kronos and they do meet and work together during the giant war! and they make a great team, like in the twin giants fight

metis was a goddess of wisdom i'm pretty sure? and was zeus' advisor. i am a firm hater of the "percy is stupid" train because honestly it's percy who makes most of the battle strategies in pjo.

in fact here's some unwarranted examples: realizing what the lotus casino was, tricking crusty, figuring out the whole lightning thief debacle, giving clarisse the fleece, clearing chiron's name, figuring out he needs to take the sky, finding the nemean lion's weak spot, figuring out rachel is their guide for the labyrinth, all of his actions in the battle of manhattan tbh like he was crazy for doing all that at age 16!!, scaring chrysaor’s crew, making the combination of demigods to get nike, etc etc- i could go on and on!

so, i feel he can be related to metis in that he would be a pretty great advisor and obviously he'd be a fantastic leader. athena herself says the requests (read: demands) percy makes at the end of the second titan war are wise!

also think it could be interesting if poseidon delibrately chose to have percy look like metis. they'd probably look similar anyway but if poseidon wanted zeus to have some hesitation in killing percy, creating him to look like someone zeus greatly wronged in the style of kronos (aka eating someone) could do it?

anyway, moving onto jason! who, like zeus, is the youngest son and has a lunatic father that treats him like shit,, and at first zeus served kronos! just as jason did, but hey, if jason hadn't died when he did,, how long would he have continued to serve zeus?

rhea took zeus from kronos to be raised in crete by nymphs, like hera took jason from zeus to be raised in camp jupiter by wolves. and like rhea, hera is always on jason's side and honestly based on her toa reaction to his death, likely loved him like a son. and we know hera fucking hates zeus like rhea hated kronos.

jason is also strong as fuck, and ik rick knocked him out in every book because he didn't actually want his forced-percy-rival to actually showcase his powers but from what we know and seen he's like insane as well. PLUS he's been training since he was like 3 ik he's strong asf and zeus is sweating.

parallels😁!! uh let's hope jason doesn't eat percy though /j

i know zeus would've recognized these parallels and got insanely paranoid bc yk him. ik zeus was exhaling in relief when jason died, and there's a reason he was always trying to kill percy. he saw his sins in him! everytime he looks at percy he sees the woman he tricked and treated like shit and more-or-less killed. but he also knows metis was smart and very capable, n that's scary to him. everytime he looks at jason he sees his younger self, and that's a horrible thing to see if you're zeus lmao

of course jason is much better than zeus and percy is fairly different from metis, but it's the small parallels and zeus' paranoia that makes everything bigger.

the act we know metis most for is supplying the poison for kronos to regurgitate his kids,, and percy has a pretty close connection to poison now after his fight with akhlys :)

Now!!! Hear me out!!! I loooove the Metis X Percy parallels, I never talked about it here because some things I keep for the fics 🗣️🗣️🗣️ but I totally GET YOU!!!

The thing about Rhea is that they prob look a loooot alike, so people (mostly the big six and, maybe, Kronos) attribute her whole persona to Percy’s even tho many things make zero sense. Because they want him to impersonate their mother somehow to feel their void. Others might think of him more of a Perseis kinda of person, just for the destruction thing. But Metis? She was gone before most Olympians were alive, so it’s not like they have a truthful idea of what she was like, and those who remember might not have been as close to her as Zeus.

Metis was the Titaness of good counsel, planning, cunning and wisdom. Which makes us think that Athena would be a lot like her, but I personally think Athena is more a Zeus mini me. Metis being an ocean’s kid and a titaness made me believe she was a lot wilder and not exactly the usual embodiment of these concepts. Which would make her much more of a wild card, so Zeus got rid of her when the prophecy about their son showed up. So like, I can see Percy embodying Metis’ aspect of these domains (while Annabeth would be more Athena-like), and Zeus being like…

In terms of looks, she and Percy might’ve not looked the most similar, but hey, Metis would question Zeus’ authority in front of the whole council and would call out his shit whenever she felt like it.

Jason, however, is a much tamed version of his father. In a good sense. He’s not cruel, and when he’s forced to make a choice that he feels bad about it haunts him. He’s not overly confident and proud. Beyond all, he was taught loyalty to Rome and the gods from a young age, contrary to Zeus who was taught rebellion and how he was supposed to be this great saviour. For a while, this probably made Zeus more comfortable about him than he probably was about Thalia, for example, or even Percy.

But romans and Greeks learn about each other and now Jason and Percy meet and turns out Jason is SMITTEN with his cousin? Yeah, that’s a problem. Zeus would seethe, and Hera would be 100% smug about it.

Suddenly, there is something that Jason cares more than Rome or the gods. That is dangerous.

Also, something about Percy being somehow paralleled with TWO titan queens is just…

Backstory: when I first time knew about the void I was literally afraid cuz thought it’s kinda magic place or close to astral and entities will attack me (it’s so hilarious ik please don’t judge old me ✋🏻😭). But I was looking for more info bout that so now I know what that state is. Anyway I had troubles to enter and idk why I just couldn’t do it.

Yesterday I found your challenge and decided to try it cuz it looks so easy??? like you don’t need to do anything but pretend you already that person who can enter the void with ease. I did it during the whole day and at night just simply went to sleep. I used to try to enter every night before and it was tiring tbh.

I just fell asleep and woke up … nowhere?? Like… idek how to explain it on my language lmao. I felt nothing but calmness and pleasure. I wasn’t sure I’m in the void but I decided to affirm for my desires. And thanks to me for doing this cuz it literally was the void. I understood it when woke up in reality today and I have everything I wanted!!! Please I’m not emotional person but my feelings just tear me up from the inside 😭

It was the middle of a match in Leo’s Memory when you noticed one of your teammates had been chaired. You knew the hunter was Joseph by the cameras you found around the map. He was the only hunter who had cameras. You had talked with him before about what you would do in matches together since you both had taken a liking to each other. He demanded you stay away when he chaired someone.. but your teammate was currently crying for help. You couldn’t let your teammate suffer alone and none of your other teammates were bothering to help them. You decided to leave the cipher you were at and run towards them.

You approached carefully, making sure Joseph wouldn’t see you. He was facing the other way while playing with his rapier. It took a second, but you were able to get to the chair quietly. However, you felt Joseph whack you aside the head almost immediately. You cried out in pain from the impact. You turned towards him and saw a look of betrayal and hurt on his face. You instantly realized your mistake and started to sob.

“I-I’m sorry Joseph!” You cried out apologetically. You held your hands to your head as you were now terror shocked. Joseph looked at you with worry and sadness.

“What did I tell you?” Joseph questioned with hurt laced in his tone. He reached over to grab you by your arm. He then lead you over to a secluded area of the map where he draped you over a crate, completely ignoring your teammate that was still chaired.

“I-I’m sorry.. I wanted to save them.. th-they were crying for help…” You tried to explain in between sobs. You heard Joseph put his rapier away and sigh.

“This is why I told you not to save them. I hurt you because I didn’t know it was you.” He retorted with a sigh. He reached over to brush your hair out of your face.

“I’m so sorry.. I went against your word.. I’ll take any punishment you give me..” You offered as you began to tug on his shirt.

“I had already planned on punishing you.” He draped you over the crate again. Almost immediately he landed a slap against your ass. You squeaked in surprise.

“I-I thought you didn’t want to hurt me..” You muttered out. Joseph landed another slap against your ass. Another squeak left your lips.

“With my rapier. It’s highly dangerous if I hit you with that. You’re lucky I hit you with the back of it.” He retorted with a grunt. He landed another slap to your ass. You clenched your fists at the pain.

“That’s.. fair. A-Are you gonna keep slapping me?” You questioned while turning your head to look back at him. He immediately hit your ass two times in a row. You whined at the pain of the slap. “I guess that’s a yes..” You muttered out with a soft whine.

“Do you think you’ve learned your lesson now?” Joseph questioned as he roughly squeezed one of your asscheeks. You whined from the pain of his nails digging into your asscheek.

“Yes! Definitely! So sorry, Joseph… it won’t happen again.” You pleaded desperately while squirming on the crate. Joseph rolled his eyes at your squirming and placed another hard slap to your ass again. You yelped out in pain.

“Alright.” He said with a sigh. He then gently rubbed your asscheeks with his hand to help ease your pain. “I’ll trust you, for now. Don’t get in the way again, do you understand?” Joseph declared while staring down at you. You slowly slipped down onto the floor and looked up at him with a deep blush on your cheeks. You nodded your head as your eyes were full with tears. “Don’t cry now, dear. I forgive you.” He reassured as he crouched down to pull you into a hug. You gently hugged him back and rubbed your face against his neck.

“I won’t do it again.. I love you, Joseph, and I don’t want to upset you.” You reassured in a soft tone.

“Love you too, dear.” Joseph smiled softly and gently rubbed your back in a soothing manner. Neither of you seemed to care at this moment about the game you were currently in. The sound of the sirens going off didn’t cause either of you to flinch. Your focus remained on each other.

You pulled away from the hug to then press a gentle kiss to Joseph’s lips. He kissed you back almost instantly. You stayed with your lips together for a moment before pulling back to look into each other’s eyes.

He chuckled at your reaction and gently caressed your cheek. You felt your cheeks redden more at the feeling of his hand on them.

“I’m teasing, my love.” Joseph reassure while pulling you closer to him. He smiled wide at you, feeling the spark between you two. “Aren’t you going to go with your teammates?” He questioned while playing with your hair between his fingers.

“Well… I was thinking..” You fiddled with your fingers while looking down at the ground. “That I would be nice enough to surrender to you.” You spoke shyly. Joseph widened his eyes.

“Alright. I’ll let you do it this time.” He agreed while gently poking your nose. You giggled softly at his gesture. You then took a step away from him and bowed.

“I hereby surrender to you, your majesty.” You said with a big smile, obviously putting on a show. Joseph chuckled as he watched you.

“I guess that means I’ll take you to my room.” He declared while walking towards you. You stood up straight and started to giggle at his proposal until he suddenly picked you up by your waist to throw you over his shoulder. You squeaked in surprise.

“Joseph! Put me down!~” You giggled as you began to writhe around in his hold. He kept you steady as he began walking to the gate.

“Goodnight, Aemond.” You looked up at him so sweetly, smiling with heat in your cheeks. You should always look like this, he decided. He wanted nothing more to than to stay in your company for a little longer, but he let his hand fall from yours, let you walk away.

“Goodnight, Y/N.” He called out to her, and she looked at him over her shoulder. She had her eye on him, he knew, and he had his eyes on her.

Although they hadn’t made anything official yet, the way she melted under him was promise enough. The way she was always so needy to kiss him, the way his fingers sunk into her soft hips when he took what was his, that was promise enough. She was his, and there was no denying that.

Aemond could care less that others saw her as undesirable. He only had one eye, and yet he saw more clear than them. It did not matter that she was from a lower house, he would take her, and he would marry her.

Fuck. She finally disappeared around the corner, not turning back. Which was probably a good thing, seeing as with one glimpse of her lips or the curve of her neck, Aemond might pounce on her all over again.

He clenched his fists.

He needed her so badly, and constantly. He needed her in the morning, afternoon, and night. He needed her in sleep, in wake. In light, in darkness.

What made her so different was that Aemond needed all of her. He needed the curve of her hips, the swell of her ass, her soft lips, but he also needed her conversation and her comforting presence.

She was just made for him, he supposed.

He turned quickly, heading back towards the feast. He needed wine. Ale. Whiskey. Something to calm himself, stop the tightening of his pants. Take his mind off of her.

He bursted through the doors, eyeing down the nearest servant and snatching a glass of champagne from the tray they carried. He didn’t even bother to look at who he was harassing, downing the first glass and another.

The alcohol settled in his stomach.

He stepped away from the poor servant, instead choosing the stalk the room. Perhaps two drunken men would get into a fight, provide him with some entertainment. Without his sweet girl next to him, he was utterly bored.

He perked up at the sound of boisterous laughter across the halls, finding a table of young men. These were all first or second sons, future lords and important men. They were arrogant, and sometimes gave him a good laugh. He scanned the room.

No fights. He sighed, making his way over to the table of men.

The leader of them, perhaps a Tyrell, straightened and raised his cups in greeting to the one-eyed prince.

“My prince,” a few men echoed, taking notice of his presence. Aemond nodded, sitting at the end next to a Lannister man he was quite fond of.

He and this Lannister man were quite similar, he supposed.

Nothing came close to dragons, but he could appreciate a lion’s roar.

He recognized a man sitting next to the Tyrell son. A Baratheon. Stefan Baratheon was a proud and horrid man, and one of his beloved’s suitors.

Just until everything fell into place, she had to at least pretend to be entranced by these horrible, boring men. None compared to him. His chest tightened at the thought of his girl with another man.

But he pushed the thoughts away, a servant placing a glass of wine in front of him. Him and the Lannister man fell into a polite conversation, and Aemond found himself actually interested. A rare thing without you next to him.

It seemed Tyran Lannister had a paramour as well, and was in a similar situation to Aemond. They laughed, each claiming that their lover was better than the other. It was all lighthearted, and Aemond let his mouth curve into a small smile during the conversation.

“This one whore my father-” a hiccup, “is forcing me to court, Gods, she might be the ugliest bitch I’ve ever seen. Fuckin’- fuck, what’s her name? She’s from the Vale, maybe. I get why they fuck sheep now. They’re definitely smaller than her!” More boisterous laughing, the sound of skin slapping as a man next to him clapped him on the back. Another cheered his cup with him, wine spilling all over the table. The laughter only increased. “Y/N!” He suddenly shouted, and Aemond looked at him.

What the fuck could your pretty name be doing in his mouth?

“That’s her name. She is- Gods- something. Fatter than the fattest sheep, I tell you. I bet I- I could get her to fuck me. Gods knows I’m the best she’ll ever get.”

Aemond didn’t know what was doing. White hot rage covered him- and he couldn’t think straight. He slammed his cup onto the table, eye glaring at Stefan Baratheon.

The table turned to the one-eyed prince.

“Did you know, Lord Baratheon, that Lady Y/N is to be my wife? My dear Queenly Mother is in the process of negotiating with her father as we speak.”The lie rolled off his tongue easily. Soon it would be true.

Perhaps the alcohol in Sefan’s blood made him even more stupid than he already was, because while every other man as the table tensed, he laughed.

“I pity you, My Prince. I pity you.”

“Continue to talk and I’ll cut your tongue out.”

He seemed confused now, setting his cup down. “My Prince, I-”

“Get out of my fucking sight. I’m being reasonable right now. But with these men as my witness, say one more word and I will rip your throat out myself.”

Gods, this man was stupid. The Tyrell man and another next to him both put hands on his back, whispering at him to leave.

“I’m just saying the truth.”

At first, Aemond couldn’t quite believe he had said that.

“You will die, tonight.” Aemond’s chair was thrown back as he stood up, and Stefan did as well.

Stefan braced his fists, got into a fighting stance.

Aemond walked around the table. The other men watched him, perhaps in awe or fear, as he took a knife out of his waistband.

Stefan made the first smart choice he had made all night. He fell to his knees, begging forgiveness of the one-eyed Prince.

But Aemond had already given him a chance. He would have let Stefan live, after he had been removed from court and betrothed to the ugliest woman Aemond could find.

But he just couldn’t keep his mouth closed.

Stefan Baratheon got to keep his tongue and throat that night, a knife plunged into his heart instead.

It was just after your handmaidens had gotten you ready for bed when the door burst open.

“Aemond!” You shouted, watching as he barred the door behind himself, pacing back and forth at the foot of your bed. “Aemond- is- is something wrong? Did something happen?” Maybe your eyes were tired from sleep, but blood seemed to be splattered on his face.

“I’m sorry, Y/N.” He stopped his pacing, letting out a deep breath. His fists were clenched at his sides, finger nails no doubt leaving impressions. “I fear I would hurt you if I touched you. I am still- still so filled with anger.” You beckoned him over to you, and he answered your call, staying a few feet back.

Now that he was closer, you could see the blood on his face.

“What happened? Are you hurt?” He didn’t seem to be hurt, so you weren’t too worried. But still, it gnawed at your heart.

“I’m fine, my love. Fine.” His fists unclenched, and suspecting that it was what he needed, you let his eye trail over you, taking in every inch of exposed skin your nightgown allowed. You had sat up in bed, sheets pooling around your waist.

He took a step forward, taking your hands in his own. Gently, he placed a kiss to the back of each hand, and even with the blood on his face, you blushed at the sweet gesture.

“My Y/N,” he rasped, and you reveled in it. “You are so perfect. So mine.”

You were used to his searing compliments, but this time it felt different. You didn’t mind, still enjoying his attention regardless.

“Would you break the rules with me? Let me sleep in your bed tonight?”

You smiled. You suspected he would climb into your bed sometime in the night, as he did most nights.

He lifted the sheets, took you into his arms as you laid your head on his chest, soothed by the sound of his heartbeat. You traced circles onto his chest with your finger, and he wrapped his own arms around you.

He turned, blowing the candle on your bedside table out. The room was enveloped in darkness, and you let your eyes fall shut.

“Will you tell me what happened? Why there’s blood on your face?” You could already feel yourself drifting off, everything so perfect, so right, in the arms of your Aemond.

Awase - definitely got in trouble a lot for welding shit together, he would welding his toys together to make these big as sculptures to give to his dad and it would be so cute but such a pain in the ass at the same time. He tries to be helpful with his quirk though <3 one time he was holding the light for his dad (universal experience) and welded the light to his forehead only to blind his dad when they looked at eachother.

Sen - he was a good kid for the most part but I think he would test peoples patience and pick fights with litterally everyone. Like some kid down the street looked at him wrong so now hes chasing him down the street screaming with a handfull of water balloons. Has 100% threatened to drill people with his quirk <3 took pictures of anything and everything with his moms phone.

Kamakiri - spent 100% of his time outside catching bugs or frogs or something. His mom would constantly get onto him for bringing bugs and shit into the house so he would go outside with a little grass hopper in his hands and sulk on the porch </3

Kuroiro - he would mostly keep to himself and just draw or play alone simply because he preferred it that way but the one game he always loved playing with others was hide and seek, only because he was a GOD at that game. 100% made a babysitter almost cry before because they thought he ran away or something when he was just hiding in the shadows (quite litterally)

Kendo - pure angel. Nice to everyone and everything and helped with anything she could help with <3 she seems like the type of kid that would hold your hand or something if you were sad or do something for you that makes her happy and omg I love her sm <3

Kodai - quiet kid. She did 100% use her quirk oh her toys though. Like she would take a small dino figure and size it up to take up her entire room to be more accurate to the game shes playing. Mostly kept to herself and was akward around others but definitely liked helping <3

Komori - problem child. She grew mushrooms everywhere and would pretend to make mushroom soup with the mushrooms she grew <3 definitely had to go to the hospital before because 'pretty mushrooms cant be poisonous' (the pretty mushroom was in fact poisonous)

Ibara - had one of those pocket bibles that she carried with her all the time. Stereotypical christian kid <3 not much I can say tbh exsept I feel like her vine hair would get caught on stuff a lot

Shishida - such a big kid for his age but shy asf. Hid behind his moms leg when he met new people. People constantly thought he was a short teen for how hairy he is when hes like 5. Idk why but he gives me 'doesent like loud noises' vibes. Asked his mom for shades to look cool and they stayed with him ever since

Shoda - shy kid that hides behind his moms leg 2.0. Idk why but I feel like he was a leash kid. Not because he was a problem child but because he would just wander off and no one would notice. Almost got cps called on him mom like 12 times for child neglect because he just walks away lmao

Pony - she the kid that walks up to strangers at pools and stuff and says shit like "my mommy says that her sister is a narcissistic bitch that deserves to rot in hell, watch me do this, its really cool!" Then she just jumps in the pool while whoever shes talking too goes through the 5 stages of grief.

Tsubaraba - problem child. Definitely was one of those kids that made up jokes that dont make sense (He thinks theyre funny plz laugh) also a very talkative kid. Not in the pony way but he would walk up to you and tell you everything he knows about dinos <3 ran out of breath quickly when he was a kid (cuz his quirk) so he had a little inhaler on him all the time

Tetsutetsu - outgoing popular kid that everyone likes. Everyone wants him on their dodge ball team <3. Knew different cuss words but not what they ment so he would say shit like 'son of a fuck you bitchin butt fart' or shit like that. Almost bit his tongue off before because he was talking while eating. (I wanna say he learned his lesson but he did it again a week later.)

Tokage - really liked legos as a kid. Her entire bedroom was just legos and her pet lizard named after some character from a movie she liked or smthn. She would confidently shout the wrong awnser in class (thinking shes right) and get hella confused when the teacher says shes wrong. Pony type talkative <3

Manga - his parents fridge never had enough room for his drawings. The only trouble he would cause is drawing on the walls or his bed sheet and stuff like that. He was pretty good at controlling his quirk but he was still really careful to not say certain things that would lead to house fires or his family being crushed lmao

Honenuki - adorable kid. He would constantly go up to strangers and compliment them <3 he would steal his dads ties and stuff and walk around with them on to feel like an adult and it was always so cute. Definitely the type of kid thay would take his moms phone to take pictures of random flowers and shit.

Bondo - taller and bigger than the rest of the kids his age. He preferred playing with bugs and other small animals than the other kids. One day he came home from school and his mom saw that he had a rabbit? For some reason? Next thing ya know they have a pet rabbit called carrot stick and it was his best friend <3

Monoma - he was cannonly teased and made fun of a lot as a kid for his quirk so I think he had some hannah montana type double life. Like at school he was being bullied and kept to himself and just kinda sit there and take it but at home he would be talking about how he rulled the school and was treated like a king there because of how awesome he is </3

Reiko - watched a lot of horror movies as a kid. Like her babysitter would be like 'you cant watch that its too scary' but then the babysitter is the one that ends up scared while reiko is drawing a little doodle of whatever movie monster is in front of her <3

Rin - angel child. Definitely shy but will talk your ear off if you ask him about dragons <3 his mom has the entire 'how to train your dragon' movie franchise memorized because of how often rin would watch it. He would pick flowers (or weeds that look like flowers) on his way home from school and give them to his family.

First of all thank you so much 😭😭❤️❤️ means a lot 🥹 the last three months have been kinda chaotic here but I love it (going from 300 followers to almost 1.5k is crazy work)

And second of all: I take veryyyyy long breaks tbh 😭😭😭😭 I spent almost two weeks writing absolutely nothing, until this week.

I tried to write for a few days but it just wasn’t working so I let myself take a break. I find it easier to write without putting pressure on myself and also outlining basic ideas for the plot or lines that I know for sure someone has to say!

And tbh sometimes it still doesn’t work because I have entire series on hold, I genuinely don’t know what to write next, but I know I will eventually. I just need to give myself as much times as I need to figure it out.

I also find a lot of inspiration watching couples and multi couples mv’s on YouTube, especially when they’re inspired by books (I love watching fancasts lmao). I’m also very hard on myself sometimes so it takes me like four tries to get the writing and the plot right.

For example, I’ve rewritten part three of you said I have to trust more freely about four times now and I still hate it 😻 so there’s that ahahahah. Also took me about three weeks to finish the other side of paradise because that last chapter was dragging my ass though the mud.

And it also depends on my mood unfortunately 😭 some days I wake up I know I want and need to write and some days it feels like a chore so I can’t bring myself to do it lmao.

I personally looove long fics idk why it’s easier to make the plot more plausible especially if it’s just a one part thing y’know? It’s kinda self indulgent 💀💀 and also I great way to practice my English writing skills because it’s noooot my first language, so I’m kinda learning along the way.

Idk if any of this helps but yeah writing down all my ideas helps a looot. Then I just figure out how to connect things and it’s a lot easier.

Requests are also life savers for me tbh, it’s just easier when people tell me what to write and I don’t have to come up with an entire plot by myself. It can get a little overwhelming because I obviously wanna please whoever asked for that piece but at the end of the day, if they asked it’s because they enjoy my writing and even if it isn’t perfect….I know it’s still helping me improve and next time it will be better ☺️
