im trying to think of dust on their own. outside of being under nightmare since it’s not a setting im particularly interested in at the moment. i guess imagine him in the omega timeline somewhere. someplace secluded and where theyre left alone and are able to act independently. but then they see fresh around? and is a bit curious and investigates

on their own i Dont think dust would seek out companionship in fresh and fresh wouldnt seek out companionship in dust (so this is just me putting my toys together [metaphorically]) i think dust would find fresh’s oddness refreshing but in a nervous way. who is this guy. why do they look like that and talk like that and why do i have a feeling that this guy knows More than me. i feel like fresh would make dust feel like prey

dust, after everything, just wants peace. or punishment (in his mind) and being alone and separating themself from people that they associate with that past would help, or they think it will. fresh is Different. fresh is New. and that gives dust something to think about outside of their own thoughts and be curious about for a while. maybe they will grow to like it. maybe it will become all he thinks about. with a quiet life and nothing to do what is there but to think? develop hobbies, sure, but theyre anxious.

i think of dust as keeping to themself and since fresh also does that i push them together with dust developing a curiosity and then fresh also develops one too, probably to a lesser degree. dust isnt trying to take over the world and is kind of just? a guy at this point. unstable and with his own set of issues but ultimately just a guy. not a god or an entity or something between that- just a guy

critter… and critter (guy). they both find each other fascinating for different reasons and i want to explore thatt

whatever bro. fresh having more relationships outside of error and geno and how they interact. who is fresh to people. how does he fit into the world (or doesnt fit if you want to go that way). are they scared of him. do they warm to each other eventually. grr grr grr
