idk i just think maybe we could hold off on studying the etiology of various non-diseases until after people stop actively pushing to find a “cure” for them
#tia text#this post was inspired by a prof talking about how changes in gut flora could be linked to autistic-like behavior (his words)#(and it was coupled with some really cool stereotyping of autism too)#but like it also totally applies to people studying if theres a genetic componenet to being lgbtq+#like from a purely intellectual standpoint its interesting but frankly society is not at a place where i trust that information to be used#in a non-harmful and non-eugenics way
