see the thing about being a couple's third is that i don't want to be an equal member of the relationship. i want to be their third. the periphery member, the one who's brought in occasionally for the stuff they don't do with each other, the accessory for parties. sure i want them to like me, i want them to desire me. but not as a person. as a prop who adds texture to their already existing relationship
