It'd be really funny if all of the members of YJ are so scared of being punished by their older counterparts, except Tim.
Which boggles YJ's minds. Because HUH? THATS BATMAN??? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE NOT SCARED OF HIS PUNISHMENTS? SURELY THEYRE WORSE THAN ANY OF OURS?
Yj gets in trouble. Diana grounds Cassie and tells her no costume for a month. Clark tells Kon "im not mad im just dissapointed" (the boy is in tears). Barry/Wally tells Bart that hes "not crash" and that he's not allowed to run with them to Tokyo for a week. They're all on the ground crying.
Then they look over at Tim. They're terrified for him. Batman is in front of him, looming over him, glaring down at him. They're far away from the others but yj is still shaking in fear because look how pissed Batman is.
Then Tim "I lied to Batman" Drake walks back and grins at them. "He tried to ground me. I'll be back by tomorrow."

I realized I've never compiled all of my Twin Verse images into one place, so I'm doing that now. (The last one is a new addition.)
Twin Verse Summary:
Twin Verse: A universe in which Thad accepted Max’s offer to live with him, Helen, and Bart and learns to become a hero, though not without difficulties. Thad and Bart share the role of Kid Flash / Flash in this universe.
General History:
The history/events within this verse follow the events of Impulse and basically Bart’s life. Thad lives with Max and Bart in Manchester, Alabama during the events of Impulse. He begins to learn about becoming a hero under Max’s tutelage and very slowly develops a bond and rivalry with Bart. They’re not immediately brothers, but just learning how to live with each other and both of them want to make Max proud the best way they can though they still but heads with each other.
When Max’s body is taken over by the Rival he moves in with Jay and Joan along with Bart. Max’s disappearance is what solidifies a bond between them. They’re the ones who are concerned and care about Max. Who refuse to let him be forgotten and for some time try to find him. Max is important to both of them and through their mutual love of Max as a parental-like figure they bond and stick together as each other’s most trusted person in their life because they know what the other is going through.
When they grow older they both take up the role of Flash. (Which is quite helpful for their personal lives, but also keeping their identity hidden as they can use the other to keep the idea that the Flash and their civilian identity are separate.
Ex: They’ve both been seen with the Flash on separate occasions, therefore neither of them could be the Flash!)
Additional Notes:
'Two Flashes?' I hear you ask? Yes, two Flashes working at the same time. Now as for why (other than the fact I think it's a fun idea)?
1. Because as I mentioned it's incredibly helpful in keeping up the illusion that neither Bart nor Thad is the Flash when it is initial assumed that there's only one Flash.
2. I like the idea of how it messes with villains outside of Keystone or Central City. I think the Rogues and local villains would definitely know/figure
3. I didn't want them to fight over the mantle. They both deserve the mantle in a scenario where they wanted to take on the mantle of Flash and give it their own spin rather than it being a contentious point between them and their growth.
4. It could keep up an even more solid illusion of the Flash can be everywhere at once.
I also think the local public would either know that there are two of them or have theories. When the Flash is out though you just don't know who you're getting. It makes for the potential for them to have different fighting styles, strategies, and how they deal with villains. But also the similarities between them. They might handle press different. Other heroes differently. Have different relations with other heroes and villains, etc.
Ex: Neither Bart nor Thad pulls their punches, but Thad is definitely softer on younger villains and tries to steer them toward reform/just steer them in a direction that doesn't lead them to a life he had in his youth.

i like to imagine yj living together in the most chaotic way possible. like tim bought a whole ass apartment building just for the eight of them. its basically a frat house. just eight besties living in a building together. and i mean, it works. they all are able to do their whole codependent attached at the hip thing and have some private space to wind down at the end of the day. theres a massive basement thats basically their actual headquarters, its got training rooms and control rooms and a zeta tube so everyone can get to their respective cities. i also dont imagine it being in anyone's city, i think it would make sense to be somewhere else. either LA or new york, im unsure. they also just have a shit ton of dogs. like you cant tell me that kon, cassie, and bart arent dog people and the rest of them just have to deal with it. plus, cats dont like greta since she still has like lingering spectral energy or some shit.
edit: the place is a constant mess. theres a leak in the ceiling that instead of fixing theyve named. its name is gerald. the entire place is a disaster. people ask if theyre okay when they visit, thats how bad it is. a constant depression room mess but an entire building.

There are only so many fanfics that use the entirety of DC as cardboard cutouts to prop up bat family characters that I can read before I go berserk.
I swear to god. Every character that has ever been shipped with a bat or coexists on the same team as a bat is owed an apology.
How many Young Justice fanfics that solely revolve around Tim must exist? How many Titans fanfics centered only on Dick? Why is it a herculean task to find a Justice League fanfic without Bruce as the main character?
And then even when you do find a fic that seems like it's balanced, everything still revolves around the bat. Like Kon, Cassie and Bart have nothing else going on in their lives except Tim and Tim's issues or thinking about Tim. Like Donna and Wally and Roy just cannot function if they aren't spending every waking moment thinking about Dick.
I'm... Guys. I'm at my limit. I swear to god. We need to make a Batman tag and surgically remove all these fics and quarantine them there. We'll keep the actual DC fics and they can do whatever the fuck they want in their own tag. It's getting ridiculous how hard it is to find fanfic that's actually DC related and isn't just 'The BatFam Show'.

Hmmm.... Young Justice '98 Star Wars AU? Yes? Is this anything?
Look. Just. Hear me out. They all fit in so well. We got:
- experimental Kaminoan Clone-of-a-Jedi-Master Kon-El (who may or may not have an Order 66 Chip stuck in his head)
- Pre Clone Wars Era Padawan Bart Allen, who spontaneously time traveled to the future one day because he fucked around a little too hard with Lothal's Time Cave and then immediately found out (in his defense it was at least 30% Max's fault)
- Rebels-Era Padawan Cassie Sandsmark, who's off doing espionage shit for the Rebellion under the spotty tutelage of the top-secret spy master known only as Troia (she keeps hearing whispers about some kind of new weapons program -- something the higher-ups have been calling "Project Stardust")
- Just-Some-Guy New Mandalorian Tim Drake who stole his dead neighbor's armor and has been wreaking havoc on Imperial shipments ever since (he claims it's more complicated than that, but it really isn't)
Like. They're all off living completely different plots that shouldn't intercept at all, except somehow they keep on running into each other

Lowkey shocked that Bart has been shown twice within fairly recent comic history going bonkers for donuts, and fandom hasn't run wild with claims that donuts are his ultimate favorite food. Could it be fandom is healing? Or is Bart still just unpopular enough we haven't had the 'blessings' of rabid takes to grip him.

personally, i think the fact that kon and cassie’s sense of style being so different from their original ones can be an important detail eluding to their respective emotion states after yj fell apart and how their grasping for straws for some sense of normalcy. especially with kon just gaining his secret identity and cassie’s essentially evaporating. However, instead all we got was geoff calling masc cassie “ugly” straight up and eugenics-lite plot for the anti-eugenics guy. okay.
