- But still, even with a lot of other people saying you were pretty in public, it still felt like you just didn’t believe them

anyway okay now you got me started so strap in because this is gonna be a long ramble. so i feel like there’s several points about how i imagine their dynamic that i have to unpack here (putting it under a cut bc length or if ppl are uncomfy with this stuff)

i am unfortunately boring in the way that i’ll ultimately always wanna write Seto as the dominant one just bc of my own personal preferences. BUT that obv doesn’t mean Kisa wouldn’t have a fair amount of control over the situation, both bc a healthy dom/sub dynamic requires it in terms of consent and boundaries ofc, but also bc a) Seto is so extreme in his need for Kisara’s explicit permission to do basically anything to her (even the vanilla stuff) because he’s so painfully precious about her well-being and also constantly plagued by not feeling worthy of her and b) while i think Kisa wants to be dominated i think she also realllly enjoys the control of knowing she’s got Seto wrapped around her little finger and could make him do any depraved thing she wants to her just by looking at him in the right way. so yeah i think they both know who’s really in control behind the scenes lol

i’m also DYING to get into Seto’s inevitable mental struggle to reconcile his thoughts and feelings of “she is a perfect goddess and i’m a mere mortal unworthy of even looking at her let alone touch her” and “i’d die to protect her and if anyone hurts her i’ll fucking kill them” vs his desire to be the one who gets to take this perfect goddess and make her submit to him, kneel before him, own and control and ruin her perfectly (because if there’s one thing we all know about Seto Kaiba is that he’ll make sure the divine yields to him, and not the other way around). I guess the key things there is that he alone is allowed to hurt her and no one else.

On this note i do however think Seto would be so conflicted about physically hurting Kisa, even if she very clearly and explicitly wants him to, because he just struggles with being so overprotective of her and not wanting to see her injured or in pain. but this would also be delicious to write him being all conflicted due to the guilt of causing her pain vs the fact that doing so is super fucking hot and he can’t resist doing it, esp not when she’s literally begging him to. Taking all of his frustrations after a long day out on her more than willing body would be so cathartic and tempting but also associated with so much guilt and worry about getting too into it and going too far.

I also definitely see Kisa as being the more extreme of them, to the point where i can actually see her be just a little bit unhealthily masochistic because she doesn’t really value herself due to past trauma, giving her a self-destructive streak and kinda fucked-up notions along the lines of ultimately being deserving of pain and suffering, that someone hurting her equals caring about her and wanting her, and that the ultimate thing she can do to show someone that she really loves and trusts them is to just offer herself up completely to use and do whatever they want to, which Seto would have to try to handle and mitigate because he’s ultimately not gonna let her use him to actually really hurt herself (and you know it would also break his heart a thousand times over to realise just how little she values and cares about herself due to her fucked up past). But I could also write it kinda funny in that whole “sub suggesting increasingly violent/fucked up things while the dom goes ‘idk that’s scary’” lmao. I think Kisa is a bit annoyed that people (especially Seto) tend to see her as this fragile, porcelain flower and wants to prove that she is perfectly capable of taking a (consensual) beating.

Outside of strictly sexual stuff i can also see Kisa as very much an ‘everyday/domestic acts of service’ kinda sub who just wants to bring Seto his coffee when he’s working and a drink when he comes home from work and make sure to always wash and iron his clothes and put them out before he leaves in the morning, tying his tie before he leaves and untying it when he gets home and cooking and serving his meals for him (which tbh wouldn’t just be about her being submissive but also bc she just wants to make sure he actually takes care of himself with like, eating and taking coffee breaks bc you know that man doesn’t take care of himself if left unchecked). And I think this also ties in with her sense of self-worth being tied to being useful and helping others because she doesn’t really see herself as valuable unto herself, but also maybe acts of service is just kinda her “love language” too. i feel like this is the sort of thing i could maybe include in Temptation bc she’s already pretty much like this there, with to me pretty obvious undertones that her working as Seto’s assistant is definitely triggering a submissive side in her.

Temptation also has the whole thing with Seto secretly enjoying Kisa wearing her KaibaCorp pin while working because it marks her as his for the world to see, and I definitely feel like that’d be a thing for him too. Branding her, either by things like visible bite marks/hickeys that she’s not allowed to cover up or something like a discreet necklace that is actually a collar (although tbf, with the fashion we see in the Yugioh universe, would anyone even blink at a BDSM-style collar? Like Yugi’s already wearing fetish gear as his everyday clothes lmao). I mean, Seto’s already pretty big on putting his branding on literally everything, so Kisa would be no exception (also imagine the ridiculous extravagance and amount of money and care Seto would put into a collar for Kisa).

While I’m not really into the idea of Seto being submissive per se, I do think both he and Kisa could easily have praise kinks because they both crave validation in their own ways and for someone to telling them that they’re doing/being good (Seto wouldn’t admit that though, but if I allow for some submissiveness on his part I think being called a good boy could fix him). But with him as the dom it also totally tracks for him to make Kisa worship him and stroke his ego in that way. On that theme, however, I could also imagine him making her allow him to worship her as a kind of ‘punishment’ bc he knows she has a hard time accepting that but that it’s also something that’s good for her to hear.

Also I can totally see Kisa being a little bratty as a sub sometimes because she likes to talk back to Seto and be deliberately cheeky, disrespectful and provocative (both because she enjoys the control of getting him riled up and because she knows that the more she gets him worked up the more forceful and intense he’ll be about putting her back into place afterwards).

Okay so this turned into a fic-chapter length essay about this topic instead of actually writing the fic (bc *ofc* i’d do that) but please lmk what you think!!! (and hopefully i'll use your ideas + my rambling and turn in into fic eventually)

6. Favourite ships; like i mentioned on your post, for me it really fluctuates what ship is in the front of my mind on any given day. Ofc, hiccstrid is a big one (theyre really good to me personally) and I'm currently also in a big snotstrid mood bc of my friend @spacenintendogs 's dragons off the coast au! (Also p l e a s e if you aren't familiar yet with dragons off the coast im begging you to look into it, its such an interesting take on a modern au and Rose's writing and worldbuilding is absolutely phenomonal). Fishlout also takes up a space in my heart, adore them so much! The dynamic is so good.

Ruffnut and her army of men is also so good, and the dynamics she has with Eret, Fishlegs and Snotlout is really fun and has a lot of potential. Tho i do also think she and Heather have potential. As do Eret and Heather! That whole group can just be mixed and matched together haha. Heather and Fishlegs ofc is also wholesome, they deserved more than this!

Due to me being so involved in the oc side of the fandom and being a really big supporter of everything oc (which is common knowledge after 4 years of this haha), I also love a lot of people's ocxcanon ships! Such as Rose's oc Ermintrude and Snotlout, @nosuda-cringe 's oc Mayeth Vang and Snotlout, and ofc the ships you've hinted and teased in otwd (zephbal save me... save me zephbal. I think about them a. Normal amount. Same with castav but i wouldnt let them save me, they need to save themselves first), plus a lot of others. Theyre all very dear to me <333

10: favourite songs from the soundtrack; OKAY so ive actually got history with this! When i was about 13-16-ish i had music classes as part of my middle school experience (lmao) and we were given the freedom to do any project we wanted. In those 2-3 years i used the httyd soundtrack twice for projects!

First I used Forbidden Friendship (that song man. That song) as like. An underbeat or smt? To add things on. Im sure it sounded horrendous and y'know the other kids in my class laughed at me bc of me using an animated movie's soundtrack, but the song did remain a favourite of mine and still is.

The second time I used the soundtrack was just after the third movie released! We were once again granted freedom and I decided to learn Once There Were Dragons on the piano! (Im not certain i still know it LMAO its been 5 years, this was even before I learned about OTWD which is in hindsight pretty funny)

Ofc once again the kids around me weren't amused and I couldn't play piano to save my life (my hands are too small to reach the octaves needed which. Sucked haha) but i had a lot of fun and the song really stayed with me throughout the years, it always brings me at least some sort of emotion <3

11; favourite locations; OH gotta be Old Berk and Dragon Island. We spend so much time in Old Berk during the shows and the movies and the form of the island is just so... memorable, in a way. In school of dragons, i always loved climbing the Great Hall up to Gothi's little hut haha. Miss that silly little island.

Dragon Island is soooo underused but i adore the implications sm! Like, the Red Death's corpse is there (and we all know how much i love environment changing giants) and we haven't really seen it since RoB/DoB. Underused location in my humble opinion.

Honorable mentions to Berserker Island and the weird treasure island from rtte season 1. They really slayed haha

14; favourite animation style; everyone knows i'm a big hand animation girlie so I have to go for those little moments in the franchise where more 2D animation is implemented (like in Fishlegs' leadership dream and the Boneknapper special). The keyframing and the subtle movements are really worth analysing and i absolutely adore how it's used. A real treat for us animators! (Special mention to the animation that's been going around from the live special, so good)

As for 3d styles, I have to say the first movie. It has a very raw edge which i love and it gives everything a great feeling. Plus, the animation error during forbidden friendship they left in the final cut owns me <333

I think it'd be fun to play around a little with bondage/shibari if you'd be ok with that.

Like we could start out with practicing tying and untying knots on each other with some soft cord rope, maybe do a few practice positions. Just two boys sitting on the ground, practicing tying knots around each other's waists. SO What about Teru with an Exorcist s/o who's also been like a prodigy in Exorcism since young and like they're kinda childhood friends. But they however do better with handling their feelings and are more open minded , they get why Kou did what he did ( both of the brothers were wrong in their own ways) and so they help the brothers communicate better? Maybe they're with Teru when he's sulking, trying to comfort/ cheer him (up) and subtly explain that its kinda both parties fault and just overall help the two communicate better?

I should apologize..

You and Teru have been childhood friends ever since kindergarten

both of you got along VERY WELL as you were also an exorcist

He found out about it when he saw you exorcist a supernatural pretending to be an old lady causing harm around the playground

After he witnessed that he would bug you to come and exorcist

which you gave in obviously

Months turned into years

and you two were in 1st year of high school when you guys fell inlove and became a couple

You absolutely adored his younger siblings and would absolutely break when you see them fight

which they wouldn't do so often

but this time, Teru and Kou had a massive fight leading to them giving each other silent treatments

so you marched up to his room in hopes you can persuade Teru and Kou to talk

Teru sulked as he wrapped his blanket over his head watching everyone play with fireworks just outside his window

"Hmp.. What is this? They are all having fun without me.." Teru watched as Yashiro lit another one making Tiara shout in joy watching the sparks come out

As he continued to watch, he heard a soft knock on the door "Teru? Come outside, don't coop yourself in your room too much.." He perked up to hear your soft voice, He got up and opened his door and pulled you in hugging you "W-woah hey bud calm down" You softly raked his blonde hair

After you guys went to the near shore to bring back Aoi and Hanako, He and Kou had a massive fight which turned into them slightly giving each other silent treatments. But you know Kou wasn't like that, He even tried to give him snacks and candy but he didn't know how to approach and start a conversation with his older brother. And here we are, a sad lonely Teru watching everyone have fun without him

You sighed "Teru.. You need to go down there and talk with Kou.. Giving each other silent treatment is not the way to go" Convincing him was never easy, he is very stubborn. He dragged you down with him down his bed as he cuddled up to you hiding his face on your neck, making you turn to all kinds of shades of red

You tried to calm yourself down

"Teru"

You were met with silence as you sighed. "I mean, it's both your faults anyway.. You two need to communicate and clear the air, okay?" He wasn't budging "Teru.. Sulking like this won't make Kou come up here and instantly talk with you" He finally looked up, he looked tired. "I understand what I did was.. Selfish and very wrong of me.. But I did it because I wanted to keep him safe"

"Safe by hurting and lying to him?"

"Okay I admit that wasn't right either"

"None of what you did back there was right."

Teru groaned as he hid under the covers, You were about to say something but heard another knock on the door, You got up despite Teru saying and begging for you not to go. You opened the door and came face to face with Kou, Holding a plastic bag with a bunch more food

'Why is the younger brother the one persuading the older brother..'

"Hello Kou, are you here to talk with your brother?" You leaned on the door frame as he nodded slowly, You stepped aside signaling that he can come in, Kou let himself in as he eyed his older brother hiding under the sheets

"Do you two want me to give you so space?"

"No" Both Teru and Kou answered at the same time making both go silent, you sighed heavily as you sat down on Teru's swivel chair "I hope you both know that both of you were in the wrong.." Teru sat down on his bed as Kou looked down

"We know.. And Teru-nee.. I'm sorry"

"No Kou, I should be the one who's sorry.."

Without them noticing, you slipped away from the room and quietly closed the door. This conversation needs to be between them and only them, you can't just sit there and akwardly watch them apologize to each other

What seemed like minutes you left his room, Kou finally got Teru to come out and have fun with everyone else

"Well, done sulking I assume president?" Akane jokingly said but Teru zapped him "Teru"

"Oh dear, I didn't see you there [F/N]" He laughed a little as you sighed

Everyone was having a blast having fun, Heck you guys even had a barbecue that wasn't even planned to bring him down

"[F/N], Can you come with me for a moment?" You were about to bite into one of Kous delicious barbecue but stopped "Sure Teru" You got up and walked up to him, He held ypur hand as he brought to a part of his house where no one can hear or see them

"Woah hey what are we doing here?" Teru hugged you and kissed your cheek "Thank you for cheering me up and helping me talk with Kou again.. After we came back from the near shore it has been akward between us.." You ruffled his hair "Of course love.. I hate to see my two favorite brothers fighting you know" You flicked his forehead making him whimper in pain "Next time, be careful with your words or I'll cut that tongue of yours"

He chuckled "Wooww.. Scary.." He held your face up to him with his hand as he stared at your pretty [E/C] Eyes

As if time had stopped, all the background noise became muffled and the only thing that was moving was the both of you

-Pyro actually loves this a lot! The first time you actually saw them with their mask off was because they were stealing some of the bread you baked that night

-walking into Pyro with his mask off was scary but you found it sweet because he only took it off to eat your food!

-from that day on pyro and you became so much closer! You started to bake him all sorts of things. Cookies, cake, pastries and his all time fav, brownies!

-You would slide (If it could fit) some of the pastries down the crack of their door so they can eat peacefully without anyone seeing his face

-You would always leave sweet notes for them, after burning people alive for such a long time he’d be comforted by a unicorn cupcake and a note praising him

-“good job, buddy! You’re doing great <3” Love, Y/N

-“burned this one but I hope it’s okay! Ran out of sprinkles too :(( sorry” Hopefully you like it! -Y/N

-“You’re always welcomed to bake with me, pryo. It gets a little lonely by myself!” I hope to see you! -Y/N

-the other mercs would make fun of it but would stop once pryo gives a stern “mmphr mphrhm!!!” Threatening to burn them alive

-Working exhaustively on a new cupcake recipe you’re startled by Pryo’s figure staring at you from behind quietly. He loves just to watch you

-You ask him if he wants to work on a new recipe and he complies SO QUICKLY!!!!

-He messes up, he doesn’t know how to cut, and he burned everything but you cheered him on. You gave him some pointers too

-You held their hands, guiding them to mix things properly and you swore you felt his suit get hotter.

-“are you okay, Pyro?” You say holding them from the back, both of your hands mixing the batter. “*Muddr mydda…”they say back through the mask (*I’m fine…). “If you say so” Y/N says as they rest their head on his shoulder.

-5 hours later both created 10 burnt cupcakes for the mercs with messily made fondant unicorns on top. The flavor was cotton candy and the sprinkles were all multicolored, you painted some edible glitter on them and you both called it a day

-Your face was dirty, Pyro’s suit was sticky cus of all the batter and you both laughed at it. You hugged them at the end and reminded them that you both should do this again!

-While you clean up the kitchen, pryo grabs your shoulders and adjusts your body to be making front contact with him

-He gives you a small peck on the forehead with his mask still on but then takes it off to give you a real big one on your cheek without saying anything else.

-You watched his flustered, red face disappear in the black mask but you knew he was smiling the entire time.

-After cleaning the entire kitchen you both meet up with the mercs to give them their cupcake’s!

-After everyone’s reviews of the baked goods you both would walk to your respective rooms and say goodnight, excited for another day of baking <3

I'll ask a question! Don't know if its a good one though :)

Do you think Dagur and Mala would have only one child, or multiple? And would they have a girl or a boy? Also has Siri ever interacted much with Mala?

OH thats certainly a great question!! I personally think Dagur and Mala would only have one child. They're both very busy people and y'know,,, taking care of a child is hard work, even more so for two chieftains ruling two different islands. I do think Dagur would’ve wanted more, but maybe it was just never in the cards for them.

Plus, having one kid would add some extra drama with the question on inheritance of thrones. @otwdfanfic has this covered really well in Once There Were Dragons and it has been so interesting to read, so that fact also really helps with me thinking they'd only have one kid.

In Promises, Promises (the ten chapter fic I wrote last year) I used @beebooca 's oc Rune as Mala and Dagur’s only child!! It was really fun to play around with and I'm still really proud of the end result of that fic.

I think Mala and Dagur would have a boy, personally. Don't know why, maybe bc of all the ocs I've seen that are sons of Mala and Dagur (theyre all great!!) but I think they’d have a son! Girl dad Dagur would be really fun too tho.

As for if Siri has interacted much with Mala! They've certainly met!! After she and Gustav got married, they had their honeymoon on Berserker Island, where in their down time Siri got acquainted with Mala. They don't exactly have a lot in common, but I think they'd appreciate each other's fields of expertise.

After the storm that made them lose sight of baby Nivvie, gussiri actually crashed on Berserker Island again, where they stayed until Siri got some of her strength back and they could fly home. That period was mostly a daze to Siri, and afterwards, all she could remember were coming close to stealing Fanghook to go and search for her missing baby on the ocean, and the severe panic that haunted her during her entire stay on the Island. However, somewhere, vaguely, she could also remember Mala being kind to her and giving her some wise words to help her get through that dark period in her life.

In the years after, the two always remained kind to each other and whenever the Berserkers visited New Berk or gussiri and their daughter, little Sunniva, visited Berserker Island/Caldera Cay, Siri always made sure to say hi and bring a little present to Mala.

Your nights were often tiring; the city never seemed to rest. Often, you'd crash into sleep with your clothes on, exhaustion laying it's hands over you ever so gently until the morning came again. But tonight was different. Tonight you were spiraling, sleep evading you as fear began to slip into it's place. The note on your door had ruined the night for you; even now as it sat crushed in your hand as you stood out in the cold air.

Your place is here, it said. Signed Mori Ogai.

The bastard wanted you back.

He wanted you back as the machine he'd made you into when he'd plucked you off the streets so long ago, the perfect assassin who could fight, kill, and destroy with unparalleled skill. He wanted the child so desperate for any morsel of affection that they would sit at his heel and beg like a dog; someone so pliant and broken that they'd never question an order if it meant his satisfaction.

He wanted you back; and he wanted you beaten for him once again.

So now you stood, at the place where your life had split. You had left the warm safety of your home, the dark comfort of your bedroom and the soft breathing of the man you loved beside you. Before the complex you stood your ground, holding you own as you saw his shadow appear behind the doors. You felt yourself prickle with terrible anticipation as his mouth curled into a grim smirk, eyes lazy as only one who knows they've won can be.

You would show him what exactly he'd won from you.

"Thought I told you to stay away from me." Your voice was hard and cold, your face the same way; Mori's eyes rose ever so slightly. It would seem you had grown up.

"Well," he chided, "that's no way to talk to the man who was practically your father all those years."

"Save it, Mori." Once again, your voice was steady and sure, supported by your rising anger. "You grabbed me by the scruff of my neck out of an alley way; you built me and made me someone I never want to see again. So don't you dare pretend like whatever twisted relationship we had was anything close to love. Don't you dare pretend like you cared about me."

"Of course I cared," he fired back. His face was still so smugly calm it made you want to scream. "You think I would've invested all that time into you if I didn't care? No, I took a terrified child and made you incredible. You could have the Mafia, this city, in the palm of your hand if you'd only see your potentia; you were meant to be this way."

"What, they way you did? I don't think you understand what you did to me. You thought you helped me? That you were loving me somehow? Mori, I was terrified of you! Every day I was teriffied that if I messed up you'd leave me behind and I'd be alone again. I became a killer for you. I never wanted this; I did it because of you."

"Because I made you more than an orphan. I gave you a place in the world and-"

"Dammit Mori, you aren't my father!" Your eyes stung with tears, face hot and body tight as your words hit Mori like a slap to the face. "I made my choice. I have no ties to you anymore. And I never will again."

He was quiet.

Deadly quiet

Unnervingly quiet.

And then he laughed.

Nothing much, just a small chuckle.

Still, the sound sent horror through your very bones.

"How little you know, y/n." Now he was having fun; you could see it in him, the way he began to circle you every so slowly, his eyes those of a child who knows something you don't. "Haven't you figured it out yet? Why I'm so adamant you return to us? Hm? There are a million assassins, a million people who can take order better; but there is no one like you. And do you want to know why?" he asked, advancing towards you until he was mere inches away.

"It's because from the day you were born, from the day I thought up that story for you, you've been the heir to the Port Mafia.

My heir.

My child."

For another second, all was hushed and low; the night breathing through the city falling away from you as his words sunk in.

His child.

Mori's child.

Mori was your father.

And suddenly, it a moment of horrible clarity, it all made sense. The dodged questions you'd learned not to ask, the fleeting words of affection, small touches that you'd hold to yourself in all their humming livelihood.

"You see now," he murmured, brushing a hand against your cheek, "this is your place. The past is done and gone; and this rebellion of yours can be too if you'll only accept this chance."

No. You couldn't. Never in a million years could you return to his side; you couldn't be his little pet anymore.

"I have a life here," you replied, your voice becoming small against your will. "I protect the people of this city; I have people I care about and someone I love."

"Yes, the traitor," Mori stiffened at the mere mention of his former protege. "Of course, you have a life here. And I couldn't just let this secret stay between us; I'd say he deserves more than that.

Wouldn't you, Dazai?"

It was as though there was no winning for you tonight. You didn't need to turn around to know he was there; you knew it would hurt you see the look on his face. Even so, you met his eyes, so full of disbelief and...fear.

He was afraid.

"Well, my dear, it seems I've won." Mori's arms were around you, making your skin crawl with revulsion and bile rise in your throat. "It was a game well played. but one meant for you to lose. Now come home."

With Dazai's eyes staring right through you, you could see yourself loosing him; you could see the pain in him, the heartbroken expression in his dark eyes; it broke you anew and sent you scattered along the pavement.

"There is no home for me."

Tearing his arms away from you, you tore off into the dark; in moments, you were aware of your screaming muscles, the cold air hitting your tear stained face. You felt your chest cry out with need for rest, your body carrying itself away from everything. You had no idea where you were going.

It didn't matter.

It didn't matter where you went because no one was going to look for you; the mafia was always an enemy. Now, it was only a matter of time before the Agency came for you too.

So you ran until your being ached and screamed for reprieve, climbed fire escapes and let yourself dangle before pulling yourself back to some semblance of safety. You sent yourself crashing to the ground, and then staggered to a stop upon a rooftop, bruised and battered by the night. And you watched the sky, curled into yourself as if maybe you could protect yourself from the world this time. You became a child again, the darkness swelling and clothing you as you shuddered with fear.

You were unaware of the man who had followed you.

You registered nothing as he came towards you.

The only sound was the slightest breath as you met his eyes; dark and familiar and unbearably lovely;

eyes that felt like safety.

"Why are you here," you murmured. "I'm not safe anymore, or haven't you heard."

"Why wouldn't I come? I was worried about you."

You laughed shortly, making even Dazai wince at the sound before you once again shrank back into yourself like a wounded animal. "No; you're afraid of me. You and I both know the things Mori does to get what he wants; we were both subjected to that hell every day before we got out. And we were good at it too; you and were the best at what we did like it or not. And now he wants me back; his fucking kid, Dazai." You sighed and rubbed your eyes, refusing to look at him. "Get on with it."

You were expecting a harsh word, a quick and easy fight that left you beaten once again. You were expecting him to sever the ties he had with you, the countless nights and endless days spent in the glow of new love. You expected the man who had become your father that night to take his place, for the places now so full of adoration and joy to once again spill over with your every great terror.

Instead, you felt his hand against your face; you felt him pull you in until his arms were around you trembling body, his hand resting atop your head as you melted into him. Against your will you felt your body fall into rhythm with his breathing, your own slowing as your thoughts began to dissipate.

"I'm going to miss this," you whispered.

"Hmm?"

"The only time my head is quiet is when I'm with you."w You shook a little as you trailed off. "I'll find some other way to-"

"Y/n, stop." This time, his voice was firm, not unkind, but it made you flinch away nonetheless. "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I didn't mean- I didn't mean to scare you. But I'm not leaving you; no one is."

You breath hitched again; your head was going a thousand miles an hour, your vision spinning with the weight of all that had happened. You shook your head, "you can't trust me anymore."

"How about," he smiled, tilting your head up, "you let me decide who I can trust. I know you, y/n. I've known and loved you for so long that I can't remember a life without you; and that doesn't change with Mori. You don't need our help; you don't need mine. You're incredible and strong and you fight for every day like it might be the last; but you don't have to do it alone anymore. You've never been alone y/n, never.

I'm on your side no matter what; even when you don't need me."

The morning that came over the skyline of the city was anything but perfect; you were cold and bruised and hurting; both of your souls felt as though they had been torn apart again; and yet you felt nothing if not safe. For once, you felt yourself go still in arms that held you with a softness that made the darkest places in you spill over with light.

The words of your reply were the first steps to healing;

"I think I'll always need you. And I'll love you for even longer."

i wouldn’t go as far to say that gift giving is his love language, but he’ll buy things that you bring up in causal conversation a whole lot.

he doesn’t see you as inferior in any way. he knows you can handle yourself, but he really wants to keep you safe bc if something bad happened to the love of his life he would be in shambles.

on a lighter note, if mineta bugs you, he’ll absolutely wreck him. will literally punt that grape boy into the next stratosphere.

also!! he’s not the type to care about what you wear. if you’re wearing smth a bit more revealing, the most he’ll say is that you look hot. literally is so unbothered.
