it is wild to me how defensive ppl are getting on behalf of the gods though. like they're immortal beings with way more influence over the lives of individual mortals than in reverse. many of them are canonically, unambiguously evil! but whenever a pc expresses that they don't really care for the gods the tag fills up with "you guys are being like, super mean to the unaccountable ultra-powerful beings right now" ass posts

#this of course does not mean ludinus is right or that the ruby vangard is good in any way #the answer is of course not replacing one dominating power with another whether it be predathos or exandrias tech ceos (wizards)#just like. so much interesting conversation (and criticism) that could be had about the hells philosophical discussions of gods #and their relationship to mortality. the shit deanna said about the afterlife and batteries is FASCINATING #and how the hells perspective is informed also by their lack of knowledge about the calamity #but for some reason ppl cannot accept any critical thought about their best friend the raven queen #as if she really cares what imogen temult from bumfuck arkansas thinks. wild #critical role #cr #alright hopefully i have exised this from my soul and i never have to post abt it again even though it will certainly continue #i do know ppl have vibe checked the gods btw. hi raven queen. but your average whitestone andy is not doing any god killing yknow
