it is wild to me how defensive ppl are getting on behalf of the gods though. like they're immortal beings with way more influence over the lives of individual mortals than in reverse. many of them are canonically, unambiguously evil! but whenever a pc expresses that they don't really care for the gods the tag fills up with "you guys are being like, super mean to the unaccountable ultra-powerful beings right now" ass posts
