14 fics. Of these, one multichap, and another that was originally of two chapters but that I never actually finished:/

4. What was your longest fic? Your shortest fic?

Longest: the complete multichap, The Jeweller's Hands

Shortest: lie, lie, lie down with me. But that was never meant to be a serious fic, just free flowing words about fexi being in love

5. What was your most popular fic? Your least popular fic?

I doubt my fics can even be counted as popular to begin with but if we talk strictly about hits rating, I’d say the multichap The Jeweller’s Hands with 4k+ hits followed by Thank Me Later with 3k. And this blows my mind cause to me Thank Me Later was never that good to begin with, maybe because it’s the very first fic I’ve ever written

Least popular instead, I’d say homegirl God’s Lonely Man deserved better:/

6. What fic didn’t perform as well as you thought it would?

If by perform we mean engagement, then I retort about God’s Lonely Man and Santa Baby

7. What fic performed way better than you thought it would?

That little bitch, Thank Me Later, for one. Maybe it’s because the very first fexi fics I’ve written in feb/march were just experimental, but they kinda make me cringe (although I’m also attached to them because of sentimentality). Instead, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the good reception of Flipside. It’s a one shot based on a dream and that I’ve written in a rush the same night after publishing the ninth chapter of The Jeweller’s Hands.

Hellfic (The Jeweller’s Hands) and Flipside

9. What was your favorite fic that somebody wrote in 2022?

Oh boy, where do I begin with?! Let me choose some..

It Might Turn Out This Time by pastaslut. A fic from a writer I just recently had the pleasure to discover. To me, it’s a little masterpiece. A majestic, one of a kind type of love unraveling with the refined and intense writing of the author. The kind of writing that stops you in your track and make you travel back to the very first fresh excitement of the fexi brainrot and that hits you so much at the core that you say “fuck, here how I’ve felt all my life summed up in a simple sentence of eight words.” 10/10

Toothpaste diaries by myfemininedivine. My devotion and my obsession. The light at the end of the tunnel.

Your kisses, they burn by MissAtomicBomb. To me, Mer is one of the most solid writers the fexi fandom has ever had. She clearly excels in depicting intimacy and sensuality and this one shot of hers has left me speechless and in awe.

Can’t get used to losing you by miztify. A fic that I consider one of my comforting pleasures. A flashforward to adult Fez and Lexi navigating the fact that they pretty much haven’t moved on from each other in a tender and non cruel angsty collection of ten chapters.

And of course there are many others. The fandom is full of gems!
