#yes i have these at hand in my phone yes i have this scene burned into the back of my eyelids#this scene drives me crazy because it's the first time in the whole show that he cries in front of someone and lets them SEE#in ep 17 he hid his face from muramasa when he was crying and wiped his tears when he got up and he cried when he was hugging Kaede#but they were hugging so of course she couldn't see his face#but in this scene he's CRYING crying. he's fucking weeping his eyes out and he doesn't even bother to dry his tear#because there's no point trying to make himself seem composed anymore because he can't break down any more than this#he doesn't care about anyone thinking less of him anymore he doesn't even care if he DIES. he just wants his bunny to come back#like he very literally chooses to die instead of living in a world where Barnaby doesn't know him anymore#this man is batshit crazy coo-coo bananas self destructive suicidal#he does this shit twice in the same day are you kidding meeee#but the difference to me is that in the fried rice scene he was dying for the greater good of protecting his daughter partner and friends#and in this scene he's like well fuck i failed i couldn't bring you back i guess I'll just die#but like this specific part of the scene makes me feel violently ill cause he's BEGGING#he doesn't have any ideas or arguments anymore he's desperate and he just wants Bunny again#in conclusion lets all kill ourselves
