The 90s are actually retro. Definition seems to vary but it seems the retro period starts at about 15 to 20 years old and then ends between 30 and 40 years old. So 70s and before? No longer retro. 80s are even pushing it in the scope of retro.
I just saw a screenshot of a tweet about a teenager referring to Blink182 as "classic rock," and I'm inflicting this on all of you as I wither and crumble to dust.
