ive listened to a bit of the dub (through clips) and tbh i do like it!! i like brook's voice acting a lot (hes who ive heard the most of. also he nails the laugh, which is very important to me) but luffys voice is so jarring to me i just cannot.. get past it. i think im just too used to the sub luffy after . a decade . of hearing him sound like that. plus i usually have to use subtitles anyways cuz i have an audio processing disorder so. sub is just what i default to. but yeah definitely valid to watch dub instead!! they do a great job from what ive seen :)

it was only super recently where i realized its not inherently a bad thing to like problematic media. to be fair tho there are definitely a lot more problematic fans when u enjoy problematic media, and i see it with one piece a lot. there is a WEIRD amount of transphobes in this community and i cant help but feel like part of that is because of oda's writing spreading some common transphobic ideas. i think hes redeemed himself a lot with the most recent trans characters, and i adore them, but the damage.. is done. but yeah im sure another big part of why theres so much negativity is just because one piece is insanely popular. the bigger the fandom, the bigger the shitty part of it is.

There was once a teen girl. She had just left her Hamilton phase, since she got all she vould get from it, and was looking for a new thing to watch. She found a really cool animator on youtube named Rajarin Tokairi.

Rajarin Tokairi had made lots of animatics with really cool songs (one example was an animatic of 'soldier poet king' by the oh hellos) The girl based her music taste around thise and got into several fandoms because of them (the most notable one had crushed and burned so hard lmao). The girl got invested in the stpry of the characters Rajarin Tokairi was going to tell, but one day, Rajarin announced that she will not be finishing that story.

The girl was disapointed, but figured out that its fine. Out of anyone she knew stories wernt always finished, and she had already moved on to other fandoms. Yet she would still be bitter about it for ages.

One day, Rajarin Tokairi posted a short animatic of her character singign the lines "I am the rightous hand of god/ I am the devil that you forgot" and the girl fell inlove with them. She went on and listened to the song and got into the band.

A while later, the girl had found out that Rajarin wasnt a fan of poor man's poison. She just used a sound she heard on tiktok.

After having gotten into the oh hellos, the girl also learned that the same was with soldier poet king.

The girl still doesnt know how to feel about it. Dissapointment, maybe? She put so much energy and thought because a person she was a fan of liked it, and ended up being more into than that person. She feels conflicted. She cant be angry at Rajarin, she knows it isnt fair.

But she cant not be disapointed by the promises she thought were made by a figure she thought had been the youtuber she liked, when in reality that youtuber was just another person.

Youtubers and content creators will disapoint you. They will be stupid or uncaring about stuff you care about, and thats cause theyre human too.

Dont build your life around them, and dont hold them up as perfect. Find your own joys, independent of them. Most impotantly of all learn when something is just not for you, and learn to click away.

anyway his name is Ocanus. he works at a magic shop as sort of a stand-in-manager. he also does those really obnoxious tiktoks about magic tips 101 and uses magic to glamour really fancy clothes for instagrub. digital clothes? he was ahead of the game. 

he constantly cuts his fins off but they keep regrowing. he curses that natural healing ability of the Moons. He can glamour them invisible but it’s something he genuinely hates about himself so he just keeps cutting them off.

No he wont tell you your future, but if you have questions about deities he specializes in godly fun facts TM, and he’s really good at helping you build altars for your gods. he works with Luckey and Arctus. and while he isnt the owner of the store, he certainly is the one who steps up and tries to handle all the paperwork if Arctus doesn’t do it in time.

dfgshjfgdjh yeah i really don’t like that whole,,, thing. i don’t have a Strong opinion on louise cause i haven’t watched much of her content but i THINK she doesnt showcase her kids in Every video ? idk how she shows them though but in general, and this might just be me, i don’t personally mind people showing their kids in videos like that in itself is not an issue for me but the issue For Me Personally is when people make their children the focal point of their channel. like people’s reason to subscribe and watch you should NEVER be your kids. if you want to show your kids in videos sometimes that’s fine i don’t think that in itself is an issue, and Once In A While you can maybe make them a focal point but i do mean very rarely like once in a blue moon. h o w e v e r family channels where the kids are obviously the main draw for most of the videos and where they make them act and ugh just in general perform for the camera oh so often is just.... thats gotta be harmful for your kids man

and ok this might be controversial but i’m not one of those people who thinks you can’t ever show your kids in content online like involving your kids in your content isnt in itself and issue, it becomes an issue when they’re the focal point of all your videos. like for example one of my favourite tiktokers is this.tourettes.guy which is a very much adult man with tourettes who films himself in various situations sometimes alone, sometimes with his wife and sometimes with his young kids and grandkid! and that, to me, is fine, because while he does show his kids and grandkid in some videos they’re first of all not in every video and they’re never the main focus of it, so it - to me at least - is a lot more innocent and wholesome than people shoving a camera in their kid’s faces at all times demanding them to be entertaining

I did these all super late last night bc I was having a time and wanted to draw psps I like these a lot tho I didnt like the alt version of the red that had the diamonds. I wanted to keep the vibe of the purple one with the swirls (tho that wasnt my favourite one either hense the plain background of it too djdjbshs) but it just didnt sit well. Maybe it was the shade of the body. Also notice the blue accents on the red 💕

Ps I hope none of the lines are actually symbols!! I wasnt thinking about that when I made these, I just drew lines that looked nice to me. I really hope I'm not doing something bad here :(

The purple parts that are detached from the main body were meant to be wings at first but lowkey this could be seen as smthn about body image (bc they arent connected but they are the same colour so it seems like someone who thinks their body is bigger than it is which is smthn I sort of deal with) but that wasnt the intent lol.

It gave me vibes (while also reminding me of the demons I see when I open doors at night).

Also when drawing these I was reminded of the "drawing my fears as ---" trend and like... its definitely vibes. The only good thing about the diamond red is that the over stimulation that it causes is exactly what I get when I move around at night.

Its very tempting to try to draw things more related to my paranoia psps it would be fun.

Heres one I forgot about but I drew it a bit ago 💕

This one is actually kinda related to my paranoia bc some of the images that flash through my mind are bloody teeth biting into chunks of flesh, but the blood is like neon red/pink/yellow/blue/whatever (it's different colours but they're always neon). I dont actually see images in my head when I try but when I sleep I dream very vividly. I can see some random flashes of pictures sometimes (thus that drawing). Idk why but they're always dark and neon. Like black background and just bright aggressive neon accents nd highlights.

Fun fact I have a hard time differentiating dreams and reality because my dreams are so vivid, but also bc my funky maybe sleeping disorder. I fall in and out of sleep ~10 times per chunk of sleep so my brain has a hard time figuring out if I'm still in my dream or if I'm awake. This affects my memory (the fact that ive forgotten 99% of my childhood doesnt help) and makes me think things that happened in realistic dreams are actual things that happen. Lmao it also isnt helped that I've been taking character's personalities and saying made up cool things about me my whole life so people would like me since I'm an army brat.

In conclusion bc this is long and no one actually cares bc i went way off point and probably lost some trains of thought.
