he can't help the warmth that spreads across his skin as she smiles at him, the silly little crushing having blossomed into something more. and after so much time being alone, he figured it was time to let go, to allow himself one thing. maybe that would be a mistake - ogden seemed like it was determined to ruin all of them - but there had to be some goodness to hold onto right? "right yea, it is your whole job." he smiles hand reaching to catch her elbow, pulling her closer to him. it felt good to win, felt even better to have someone by your side for that win.

nerves fill his stomach at the thought of what he's going to do next. "listen, i actually have a question for you." he begins, teeth catching his lip as he smiles at her. a couple of his teammates slow down, gathering behind him, lining up. "first, i wanted to ask you to homecoming tonight." seems cheesy enough, but nothing compared to what's coming next. "second...will you..." he pauses, stepping to her side as one of her teammates slip a bouquet of wildflowers from the garden in his free hand and his teammates turn around, lifting up their jersey's to reveal shirts that spell out b my gf? leaky can't help the bright and nervous smile as he holds out the flowers to her. "seems like my e ran off." he chuckles, still beaming. "but will you? be my girlfriend? like officially?"

Sassa was still in her cheer uniform, not even having had a chance to get off of the field yet when she heard Leaky's voice. She glanced at him over a shoulder, a curl coming to her lips, brightening her expression even further, as she spotted the player. Turning back, she dismissed the cheerleader she was speaking to with a short word, before turning to face him completely. "Hi," she cooed, pompoms clutched in front of her still, a flush rising to her cheeks. "I would hope so," Sassa replied teasingly. "That is sorta the whole point of a cheerleader."
