Every time I write Shen Yuan I have a moment where I'm like "Oh... I think I'm making him too emotionally unstable and weird :("

Then I remember shit he does in canon and then I just go "Nevermind actually I think he should go crazier"

I'm just used to reading fics where they kinda soften him, and I end up comparing my stuff to those fics. Then I remember that he's actually just insane in canon and like honestly who's going to stop me from writing him feral?

Someone will like it, and I have to remember that. Someone will read my fic that has Shen Yuan brutally murder Wu Yanzi and go "Haha that's my blorbo!"
